Integrated multichannel audio amplifier for home cinema

This paper describes complete design of amplifier for home cinema system. Described amplifier has 2 digital inputs (TOSLINK and S/PDIF) and single analog input. With this inputs it is possible to connect amplifier to a source of surround audio 5+1 signal. Paper further discuss design of correction circuits, preamplifier, power amplifier and power source. The whole is controlled by 8-bit microprocessor and has a graphics output implemented through LCD display. The goal of this paper is to design and build high quality amplifier.

This thesis focuses on a design process of dataprojector, which respects the functional, technical and aesthetic requirements. Historical, technical and design analyzes were used to reach the desired goal. The outcome of this thesis is a design of a projector that meets all the requirements. This thesis contributes to the subject by innovating the shape solution of the projector and by dealing with excess cabling.

Czechoslovak dissent as a learning society

The diploma thesis is dealing with the problematics of Czechoslovak/Czech dissent, especially in the years from 1977 to 1989 and with its position as a learning society on its own. In the text, the status of dissent in the general society is described and followed, along with the ostracization of it, which ultimately led to a forming of a parallel polis, which included both parallel educational and cultural systems. Those were based on transmitting and sharing knowledge and skills inside of the community. Considering many activities performed by dissent organizations, the thesis takes interest mainly in four educational and cultural structures: home seminars, home theatre, samizdats and so-called festival of the second culture, both personally and organizationally bonded to Charter 77. These activites are not perceived only from the cultural history perspective, but more importantly with the help of andragogy and learning society concept. In conclusion, the thesis will focus on such specific educational and cultural topics and not only its impact on the parallel polis of dissent, but on the society in general, as well. Upbringing and education by the home puppet theater

The subject of this thesis is family puppet theatre. The aim is the rediscovery of the lost family puppet theatre phenomenon, the design of the decorations, the proscenium, the puppets and the realization of three of them in the practical section. The theoretical section is divided into three thematic chapters. The first deals with the origin of puppet theatre, its development, and also with the beginning of puppetry in Czechia, followed by the formation of family puppet theatre, its development and extinction. The second explores the possibility of using family puppet theatre as a topic during art classes at upper primary school and the third chapter approaches the question of multicultural tolerance which appears in the attached theatre play.
