Possibilities of Common-rail Injection System
Smilek, Tomáš ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
Tomáš Smilek Possibilities of Common-rail Injection System BT, Institute of Automotive Engineering, 2008, p. 23, fig. 18, appendices 0 This study´s motivation was to describe common-rail injection system. This work describes history of inovation same as the key parts of this system and function each of them. It also declares advantages in confrontation with old way of injection.
The High Pressure Fuel System Application for CI-engine
Ševčík, Ondřej ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design of new high pressure injection system application on diesel engine. The design came from company Zetor’s demands. For this application was chosen system Common Rail supplied by company Bosch. Assignment was separated into several tasks. Research of suitable components for low pressure section, design of waste system and high pressure injection tubes design including injector clamping. Due to injectors used in this system was necessary to redesign cover for valves and even new system to lead wires from outside of the engine to injectors. Injector is attached by screw connection, which is composed from screw and clamping jaw. These parts are subjected to an analytic calculations. Clamping jaw of injector is even subjected to a FEM analysis, which focuses on fatigue life. Finally, the drawings were documented.
Production of replacement part for pump of waterjet cutter
Vrána, Lukáš ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis contains a theoretical part dealing with non-conventional water jet technologies. The first part deals with analysis of water jet technology and possible uses for machining operations. The practical part deals with the issue part of the pump and its possible production process. The conclusion is technical-economically evaluation.
Design of Device for O-rings Fitting on Overflow Valve of Injection Pump
Matula, David ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problem of threading o-rings on the overflow valve of the CP4 injection pump. The thesis was prepared for the company Bosch Diesel s.r.o. in Jihlava. In the thesis, first of all, an introduction of the company and their products is given. In the next part of the thesis, an analysis of the current state of the workplace is made. This is followed by market research in the field of automated o-ring threading. This research served as inspiration for the design of the threading head. The constructed head was manufactured and tested at the test site. After testing the head, several variations of the o-ring threading station were developed. A multi-criteria method was used to select the most suitable variant. A design concept of the workstation was developed for the winning variant. The resulting concept was evaluated from an economic and technical point of view.
Injection Systems of Commercial Vehicles
Horníček, Petr ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
In this thesis I describe the fuel system components and their function. Furthermore, there is an overview of the most commonly used injection systems with the principle of operation, advantages and disadvantages of the embodiment. There is also processed the issue of the emission standards. This thesis contains a list of the world's leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles and their injection systems. Finally there is a reflection on the future development of injection systems.
Petrol Direct Injetion - Injection System of Future?
Smilek, Lukáš ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with petrol direct injection system in combustion engines. It introduces the key parts of injection system, describes the construction and function of each part, same as declares advantages and disadvantages in confrontation with older way of injection. This work introduces also summary of engines with the petrol direct injection system.
Optimalization of machining processes in production of CP4 flanges
Švaříček, Petr ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Humár, Anton (advisor)
The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to review actual status of tooling process of flange CP4 made by aluminum alloy for high pressure pump of system Common Rail in certain conditions of Bosch Diesel, s.r.o. in Jihlava. Special attention is drawn to consideration of production requirements and quality level maintenance. The thesis aims to propose a new technology of tooling and to review its effectiveness.
Application of Pressure Accumulator Injection System on CI Engine
Šiška, Adam ; Štěpánek, Karel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with building the most modern injection systém Common-Rail for four-cylinder tractor diesel engine. The following application is a conversion from a obsolete system with inline injection pumps. Because the costs for this conversion must be minimized, that it is effort of minimal intervention in engine design. First this master’s thesis focuses on the theory of injection systems of diesel engines and related things and then the thesis shows the design conversion supported analytical calculations and FEM analysis of newly designed components.
Development and perspectives of common rail system
Gach, Jakub ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the Common Rail injection system. It describes the origins of the system, its principle and the function of the individual parts of the system. It also deals with the development of individual system generations and their use. It is clear from the thesis that it is one of the best present-day injection systems that meets all the today's requirements for the design and construction of a vehicle.
Optimization of Manufacturing and Assembling Technology of the Valve Bolt
Hrouzková, Andrea ; Zapletal, Josef (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis aimed to study the impact of manufacturing and assembly technology, the valve bolt fitted to diesel high pressure pump CP3 in the Bosch, which has been found to leak. As experimental material was chosen heat treated bolts M16x1,5 made of material 12 050th. Groups of samples were produced in two ranges hardness. Experimental determination of the optimum range of hardness was assessed on the basis of the results of the process of the screw and set the value of plastic deformation of the sealing surfaces of the parts. Experimental section also deals with the analysis of bearing surfaces on the pump and the components, after the screw process. To some extent, is observed as surface treatment
