Methods of prevention in hyperextension trauma to the elbow of the handball goalkeeper

Title: Methods of prevention in hyperextension trauma to the elbow of the handball goalkeeper. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to determine whether the muscle strengthening exercises stabilizers of the elbow affect the stability of the elbow joint and also draw attention to the issue of hyperextension trauma to the elbow joint of the handball goalkeeper. Another objective is to evaluate the possibility of prevention of hyperextension trauma to the elbow joint of the handball goalkeeper. Methods: Rating angular deviations observed in the elbow before and after completing the intervention. Deviations were recorded using a 3D analysis system Qualysis and were processed in software Qualisys Track Manager. Results: Strengthening the dynamic stabilizers of the elbow helps to improve stability of the elbow joint load into hyperextension. Active exercise can be used as a possible prevention of hyperextension trauma to the elbow joint of handball goalkeepers. Bohumil Modrý and his fate in literature and media coverage

This Bachelor thesis focuses on research of the image of Czechoslovak ice-hockey goalkeeper Bohumil Modrý in literature and contemporary print. After describing the fate of Bohumil Modrý, I focus on the analysis of contemporary daily print, namely Rudé právo, Mladá fronta and Československý sport, in which I research the amount of informations publicated in named daily print and the differences between them. While analysing the daily print, I will focus on few specific periods - 1947 and 1949 ice-hockey world championships, 1948 olympic games, March 1950 in which Bohumil Modrý and his former teammates from national ice-hockey team were arrested, October 1950 in which the court hearing took place, their release from jail in early 1955, death of Bohumil Modrý in July 1963 and rehabilitation of Modrý and his once convicted teammates in July 1968. The third part of the Bachelor thesis follows Modrý's image in the book Jáchymov by Austrian writer Josef Haslinger. It is a novel which was written with help of Bohumil Modrý's daughter Blanka and follows more different storylines, but the main one focuses on the fate of Bohumil Modrý. Title: Activity content of football goalkeeper Objectives: The aim is to create a comprehensive overview of the activity content of soccer goalkeepers in a defensive phase with and without a ball as well as an attack phase with and without a ball. Sub-objectives: To find deficiencies in the proposed content of activity of football goalkeeper via interview and to specify the content of the activity pursuant to this research. Methods: The creation of the list of the goalies' activity content is based on theoretical sources as well as on own experience and is then verified by the qualitative research. Results: The hypothesis was confirmed as no significant deficiencies were found in the proposed list. The objectives has been achieved. The frequency and the efficiency of selected game skills of football goalkeepers in categories U16, U17, U19 and U21 in the Czech Republic.

Topic: The frequency and the efficiency of selected game skills of football goalkeepers in categories U16, U17, U19 and U21 in the Czech Republic. Aim: Determining the frequency and the efficiency of selected game skills at the goalkeeper's position for the age groups U16, U17, U19 and U21. Methods: For collecting data was used indirect observation method via video. The research sample included respondents (player function - goalkeeper) from the highest levels of performance in the Czech Republic in the junior categories (U16, U17, U19 and U21). Half of the goalkeepers were monitored in home matches, the second half were monitored in away matches. Results: Goalkeepers of the U21 category achieved significantly higher efficiency in indicator catching of the ball into the hands (Cohen's d = 0.92) compared to the U16 category. Substance insignificant differences were detected in contrary indicator of the efficiency of the foot play and the frequency of foot play between U21 and U16 categories. The rally by hands was examined, to be the most effective way to rally, of all categories. PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D., MBA Aim: The aim of the thesis is to record the views of respondents - soccer goalkeepers of three performance categories (professional, semi-professional, amateur) on the possibilities of their conditioning training in the club both in terms of conditioning readiness in relation to the match and in terms of systematic training of the goalkeeper. Methodology: To meet the goal, I set two working procedures. At first, research of the literature available on the assigned topic was conducted. Based on it, a survey was created, which consisted of 23 questions. 36 respondents, divided into groups according to their performance level into professional, semi-professional and amateur goalkeepers, participated in the survey. This bachelor's thesis focuses on training methods of football goalkeeper at various performance levels. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate variations in goalkeeper training across different performance levels. The theoretical section covers composition of trainings, their frequency, goalkeeper's strain and their further preparation. Select few key questions are formulated and then answered in the theoretical section. For research section of this thesis, electronic survey method will be chosen. Survey target group is football goalkeepers from various performance levels including 1. and 2. league as well as lower championships. Analysis of goalkeeper's kick-off of Croatia and Belgium teams at the World cup 2018

Title: Analysis of goalkeeper's kick - off of Croatia and Belgium teams at the world cup 2018 Objectives: The aim of the work is to make analysis of goal kicks of teams Belgium and Croatia at the World Cup 2018. Cut shots with all goal kicks and then evaluate which method of goal kick is the most frequently used and how the particular method was effectiv. Create a DVD with edited shots of all goal kicks from the watched teams. Methods: The source of data and information gathering was a method of mediated observation of matches from the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The ensemble was represented by teams of Croatia and Belgium. Fourteen matches were analyzed in total. All goal kicks were cut from all watched matches in the program, which is called Instat. Then was every goal kick redraw in program Drillbook and then was analyzed. I investigated which way of the goal kick was used, which player was addressee of the pass, how many passes team done before they lost the ball and the zones, where team lost the ball. Results: Based on the seven matches of each team, it was found that Belgium played 61 goal kicks and Croatia 60. Belgium played in 64 % cases short distance passes and only 36 % kick - offs, the Croats decided to kick off in 55 % cases and in 45 % cases were short distance passes. From the...
Explosive power in soccer goalkeepers

Title: The explosive power of football goalkeepers Objectives: The main object of the work is to find out what is the development of the explosive power of football goalkeepers at the level of the Czech Football League (3rd League), Division (4th League) and the Regional Championship (6th League) of men in the monthly period in winter preparation. Methods: Quantitative research was carried out in the form of motor testing of six football goalkeepers from selected football competitions during the winter preparation period. Three specific tests were selected to determine the development of the lower limb explosive power. To determine the evolution of the explosive power were used a long jump, the vertical jump range - carried out by the arm swing and the Counter Movement Jump (CMJ), which was evaluated using the Myotest PRO device. Results: The change in explosive power during the follow-up period has occurred with all six goalkeepers in all three motor tests. The biggest change occurred in long jump. The Vertical jumps where we rank the vertical jump range - carried out by the arm swing and the Counter Movement Jump, the improvement has also come, not as striking as it is when compared to the long jump.
