Simulation of cryptographic algorithms using FPGA
Németh, František ; Mašek, Jan (referee) ; Smékal, David (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is dealing with a cipher standard AES and with a design of encryption and decryption components for AES in special modes of operation. Programming language is VHDL. In theoretical part of thesis is a further descriptions of AES and behaviour of block cipher operation modes. Furthermore the brief description of VHDL, FPGA and NetCOPE framework is a piece of theoretical part as well. The practical part contains designs which are made in developing environment Vivado from Xilinx. Programmed modes of operation are ECB, CBC, CTR and CFB. Simulation outputs and synthesis results are summerized in tables.
Application for Communication with the Lost Mobile Phone
Sládek, Petr ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is dedicated to communication with lost mobile device throw the Internet with its owner because of the possibility of finding, return or lock the device. It focused on analysis existing solution and draft own mobile application for Android platform with supportive web application, This thesis also summary basic principles of creating application for Android OS and communication with cloud base service Google Cloud Messaging.
Block cipher mode of operation
Kunert, Alois ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with Operation modes of symmetric ciphers. This thesis deals with both basic operation modes and with newer operation modes that offer additional functions. A conceptual design was made in semestral thesis, which was realised in this thesis. Finally an analysis of the basic operation modes, implemented in the web application ,was made to make a comparison between the measurments taken in the semestral thesis.
Acceleration of Vector and Cryptographic Operations on x86-64 Platform
Šlenker, Samuel ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Balík, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to study and subsequently process a comparison of older and newer SIMD processing units of modern microprocessors on the x86-64 platform. The thesis provides an overview of the fastest computations of vector operations with matrices and vectors, including corresponding source codes. Furthermore, the thesis is focused on authenticated encryption, specifically on block cipher AES operating in Galois Counter Mode, and on a discussion of possibilities of instruction sets for cryptographic support.
Authentication using mobile application and BLE technology
Žigrai, Martin ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Dobiáš, Patrik (advisor)
The main idea of this bachelor's thesis is the design and development of a cross-platform mobile application. This mobile application is intended for vehicle reservation and authentication for accessing the vehicle. The goal of the application is to provide a simple and reliable environment for users to quickly and easily search for and reserve a specific vehicle. The mobile application communicates with the vehicle using BLE technology. To ensure the security and confidentiality of communication, cryptographic primitives such as AES and SHA have been utilized. The bachelor's thesis includes an overview of mobile application development, development tools, an overview of cryptographic primitives, and Bluetooth technology. Another part is the design of the mobile application, an overview of cryptographic libraries in Flutter, and the implementation of the mobile application.
