Benefit of transition period forster care for the following adoption

The bachelor thesis deals with the benefit of temporary period foster care for the following adoption. The theoretical part introduces to the reader the substitude forms of family care, clarifies the legislative scope, compares foster care for temporary period with institutional care in the basics, mentions pros, cons and possible faults. The theoretical part introduces the term of adoption at the end. The practical part compares issue of adoptive families, which adopt the child from the institutional care or from the foster care for temporary period. There is the summary of the most common aspects both types of care from the adopters views. The answers are focused on pros and cons of the institutional care and the foster care for temporary period in the contex of following adoption and reflects the family lives with these children. The results represents the pros of the handing over the child from family to family against the cons of the handing over the child form the institutional care.

The bachelor's thesis "Reasons for leaving or discontinuing foster care for temporary period for fosters for temporary period in the Czech Republic" is divided into two parts - theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part there is a summarisation of the main information about substitute family care - its evolution, forms and division into institutional care and foster care. Further, the theoretical part is focused on foster care for temporary period. Specifically on its legislation, foster care for temporary period in chosen European countries, the process of introduction of foster care for temporary period to the Czech republic, kids in foster care for temporary period, and finally fosters for temporary period themselves. The practical part of this bachelor's thesis is focuesd on the reasons for leaving or discontinuing foster care for temporary period for fosters for temporary period in the Czech republic. The data collection was realized by questionnaire survey published on social media. The evaluation was carried out based on the analysis and comparison of collected data. For better clarity, all the collected data were processed into graphs and charts. DIPLOMOVÁ PRÁCE Pěstounská péče na přechodnou dobu Foster care for temporary period Pavla Blatná Abstract This master's thesis focuses on the topic of foster care for temporary period in the context of deinstitutionalization of facilities for children who cannot be part of their biological family. The aim of this work was to map out and describe the system of this form of foster care and to monitor whether there are children in Czech Republic placed into large care facilities who would benefit from another form of foster family care. The introductory part describes the development of paradigms and legislation related to foster care in the Czech Republic. The research part focuses on three areas of questions related to foster care for temporary period. They are questions of practical implications of deinstitutionalization, financial issues related to deinstitutionalization and finally deinstitutionalization as viewed from ethics and democracy perspectives, all related to the context of foster care for temporary period. Each topic is further elaborated with data from research interviews with four professionals of the foster care field.
