What means ''to raise/educate'' or ''to be raised/educated'' and how Jan Patočka thinks in the meaning of educational/raising methods. Interpretation of Corporeality in Jan Patočka's Philosophy

The diploma thesis deals with corporeality in Jan Patočka. The key passage of the work is the doctrine of the three movements of human existence - 1) the movement of anchoring, 2) the movement of defense and 3) the movement of truth. Patočka already outlined this problem in his habilitation thesis entitled "The Natural World as a Philosophical Problem" in 1936. It is an original approach, which was later further developed. A deeper analysis of Patočka's conception of corporeality leads to key questions of phenomenology, such as revelation, intersubjectivity or epoch.

Empathy in the Context of Edith Stein´s Philosophy

The aim of the thesis is to dive deeper into the early philosophical work of Edith Stein, especially with regard to her dissertation thesis On the Problem of Empathy. She defended it in 1916 before Edmund Husserl and its main contribution is to open the question of the possibility of mediating the knowledge of the world among subjects. In her first work, Stein focuses on the act of empathy itself, on the constitution of a psychophysical individual, and she asks about their conditions and possibilities of empathy and our own self-concept. This thesis will follow the line of her thinking in detail and it will try to grasp her contribution (comprehensively and in context) to topics such as intersubjectivity and constitution of our self and experience, on the border of the phenomenological method. The affiliated issues, including those related to empathy, will not be left aside either.

Performance and performance philosophy

This diploma thesis aims to acquaints the kind reader with the issue of performance. However, the approach to performance in this work is rather philosophical. Methodologically, we find ourselves between performance and philosophy. The reader is first acquainted with the narrative of a specific performance, performative turn and performance studies. A definition of performance is provided with an application to history, in which there are also completely new insights into what we can consider a real performance. Moreover, history itself is addressed through philosophy. A large part of the work deals with the explanation of the philosophical work of Tomas Ruller. The final part of the thesis introduces the reader the possibility of establishing philosophical anthropology in the work of Edita Stein, which is the opposite of the contemporary trend of anti-essentialism.

Labour and value. Karl Marx in the light of Phenomenology of life

The doctoral thesis examines the concepts of labour and value which we attempt to contain by means of phenomenological interpretation of alienation, brought forward by french philosopher Michel Henry in his two-part book about Marx, written in the 1970s. The challenge of such a project results naturally both from the extent and from fragmentary nature of Marx's own work. Our intention to understand Marx's thinking in the unity of its diversity is at first sight reflected in fact that we try to follow its evolution step by step from its early stages to the late phase, in other words from the problems of labour in terms of critic of the reality of alienation to the economic nature of evaluation of value. Nevertheless, we do have reason to hope that beyond this formalistic approach we would have found hidden, so to say profound sens, which should appear by devoloping different forms of the concept of alienation. By the examination of Marx's work we proceed from the assumption that the concept of alienation claims the role of inner bond that holds his whole work together, thus the methods of young and late Marx, in spite of particular changes, complement and support each other because, at the and of the day, they grow up from the same basis: the critic of the alienation of life as such. Mentality of Jewish settlers in West Bank: An anthropological study

7 Abstract This Master's thesis explores the depth of Jewish settler mentality from the radically religious to the secularly pragmatic. The aim is to evaluate their influence on the politics of Israeli governments and Israeli society as a national unit throughout history, and furthermore to point out the phenomenological foundations that the settler movement exhibits from the point of view of national identity, territorial identity and that of religious tradition. This work has been prepared through the careful study of diverse literature which is devoted to the Jewish settlers themselves, their role in the creation of a new identity in the young state of Israel, the general concept of national feelings found in territorial and collective memory, and the correct historical classification of settlement aktivity including its comparison with similar communities outside of Israel. Through my research I have discovered that not only do the settlers living beyond the Green Line show strong national and religious elements, but that they also tend towards more radical forms of dealing with state authorities as well as how they solve territorial dilemmas. of rigorous work Mgr. Luboš Koláček, Ph. D. The work is a specific approximation of the European author to the thought of the West with the East, based on the thinkers he selected on both sides. It presents a reflection of ontological, epistemological, ethical and psychological, sociological and other questions and answers to the problem, indicated by the name itself. It is a kaleidoscopic thinking that, by multiplying the contents in the reflections of the others and the others in the third thinkers, intertwines and unfolds into a huge breadth of ideas. In the work, intentionality is contained in the appropriate network of connections, which represents the West as thinking of explicit meanings and the East as thinking of implicit meanings. The point is to present to the reader not only ready-made statements, but the reader is invited by questions to cooperate in uncovering the unconcealed, i.e. aletheia. It is a hermeneutic method that starts from ready-made answers and only then comes to the questions that are at the same time the background from which the answer arose. The work is a philosophical and necessarily also historical-philosophical comparative analysis of mutually corresponding accents of the issue spanning the period from the 8th century BC to the present, with regard to the "axial period" of cultural "miracle" similarly prosperous cultures and philosophies in the relatively severed countries of East and West. It then deals in more detail with some important and fundamental philosophers and spiritual teachers, related scholars or artists of various disciplines, but also lesser-known personalities, based on general inputs into the deepest depths of thought of these thinkers, all in a relatively intuitive connection, because the scope of work does not allow for a more detailed continuous interpretation of such a wide range of issues. In the end, the author emphasizes, philosophically analyzes and evaluates the most pressing issues of contemporary society. The work should primarily show the Way, not lead, but it is up to the reader / researcher to decide how to approach the text. There is always "some" Enlightenment at the end.
