Böhmová, Z.; Adam and Eve - nudity in Art and what to do with it in art education. [Diploma thesis] Prague 2015 - Charles University, Faculty of education, 106 pages. This thesis is analysing nudity by comparing religious, moral and political documents with perception of everyday reality and artistic portrayal. It follows the changes of paradigm of nudity in European culture since the start of Christianity. The objective of this thesis is to find the roots of connection between nudity and abashment. It finds the origins of finding nudity erotic and its connection with pornography. In the didactic part it tries to introduce this topic into visual arts education, defining this idea throughout artistic activities and comprehension of the changes in perception of naked body in modern painting. With the use of the medium of painting the semiotic character of nudity is being researched as well as the signs that reference nudity.

The thesis titled "The body of the other. The erotics as learning content in Art education." have character of an exploration probe. It focuses on erotism in environment of educational institutions. This work deals with the body and its erotic contents in art education. It seeks to clarify the concept of erotica. This work seeks various overhangs of erotica into philosophy, advertising, school, personal and public life. This thesis is linked to the teaching of erotic theme and with the issues of integration of eroticism in lessons of art education. The aim is to determine how are the children / students on this topic sensitive. All the text is supplemented by authentic testimonies of students, teachers and parents related to the topic of erotica in school.
Jewish Trilogy in Arnošt Lustig's Work

This bachelor thesis deals with three proses by Arnošt Lustig forming the Jewish Trilogy: Lea from Leeuwarden, Colette, the girl from Antwerp and Tanga from Hamburg. Lustig's characters are presented and their basic typology is determined. The focus is then moved to the female characters of the Jewish Trilogy. The thesis follows their development, characteristics and position among other author's female protagonists. In each story, development of basic narrative categories (the narrator, characters, time and space), recurring themes and use of language and style are discussed. The conclusion focuses on the mutual comparison of the books, and it also deals with the theme of eroticism and sex in Lustig's work. More details are also provided on author's life because his work is closely related with it. Erotic in Chinese Art

My bachelor thesis's topic is depicting of erotica in Chinese visual art during the reign of Chinese last two dynasties. More space is rather dedicated to Ming dynasty (1368 - 1644) in which mentioned erotic paintings and erotic literature originated. Thesis firstly introduces the topic and explains used terms, it means erotica and pornography. Thesis then describes prim confucian and opposite open taoist attitudes to erotica and sexuality because these two views are important as a background for my thesis. It also mentions taoist sexual manuals that could serve as models to Ming erotic albums. Thesis next presents erotica in Chinese visual art and society where this art arised. It describes Ming erotic paintings and prints, their purpose and main themes. It describes them also as Ming erotic literary works' illustrations. Finally it shows erotic paintings were popular not only in China at that time, but also in Japan and Korea. Thesis includes addendum with paintings.
Homoeroticism and Autoeroticism in modern prose

In the first part the thesis deals with the definition and characteristics of the time period of the turn of the 19th and 20th century and intends to show the change in the perception of world and man and their psyche in the context of the new sexuality concept. The second part focuses on homoeroticism in the sexology of that time and its position in contemporary literary science, particularly in the work of Thomas Mann. In the last part the analysis of the three literary texts - "Death in Venice" by Thomas Mann, " The Confusions of Young Torless" by Robert Musil and Arthur Schnitzler's "Fräulein Else"- appears in order to explain the function of abnormal sexuality, specifically homoeroticism and autoeroticism, in German prose of the 19th and 20th century.

Martin Chochola PSAV2005 : Základní subjektivní a objektivní faktory ovlivňující vnímání sexuálně explicitních materiálů 2010 AABBSSTTRRAACCTT The study "I know when I see it: basic subjective and objective factors affecting the perception of sexually explicit materials" conserns the curent issue of perception of the existence, presentation and distribution of visual and audiovisual sexually explicit materials in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, the psychological significance of these materials and understanding thereof is being reviewed, in the context of society alignment, politics, technology development, religion, law, sociology and psychology. The empirical part is, by means of a mapping research, focused on those basic subjective and objective factors, that affecting directly our perception of sexually explicit materials, and represents four of these factors, that are affecting demonstrably. Erotica in a puppet animated film

Eroticism and pornography in animated puppet film is a niche genre. Nevertheless, it deserves attention for its unique means of expression. The subject matter of this thesis is a reflection on the relationship between corporeality and the puppet in film. It also includes selected auteur independent films and their analysis, in which sexual behavior is the prevalent topic or which contain explicit erotic scenes. The puppet functions as a representation of human body; specifically, within the context of this thesis, of the body in erotic situations. The body of the puppet becomes a representation of our own body. With the emergence of new technologies, we can become a representation of the puppet, which in turn becomes a puppeteer, an animator. The principle of identification with the main protagonist is essential for interpretation of the role and function of the puppet in film. One of the key instruments of interpretation of the role of the puppet in film and understanding its function in film. The chosen theme is accompanied by definitions of key terms and a brief overview of legislation concerning pornographic animated film.

This thesis {\clqq}The last paladin`` of czech decadence Jarmil Krecar from Ruzokvet. Erotic, stylization and inspiration in his life and creation tries to present the personality of Jarmil Krecar and tries to place him in to the cultural {--} historical context of Czech history at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Than reflects the erotic themes in his literary works and his life attitude. And also concentrates how his life was pervaded by anachronism decadent stylizations, esthete and dandyism. The thesis is devided into five chapters. The first part of the introduction essay should outline the complex atmosphere of the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century and should deal circumstances, rise and progress of the important periodical organ of Czech decadent artists, Moderni revue. The second part of the introduction essay tries to describe the phenomenon of decadent stylizations and place it in to the larger Europe connections. The subject of the third part of the first chapter is the reflection of erotic and sex in Czech culture at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The second chapter describes Jarmil´s life, emphasizes to the condition which Jarmil came from and the condition he was later living in. The third chapter analysis in literary way Krecar´s published and unpublished literary works with consideration to the substitution of erotic and pornography motives. The fourth chapter tries hard on the basis of the relation to Jarmil´s Muses and mistresses to understand his personality of a radical decadent artist. The fifth chapter want to present by using concrete example the selfpresentation of the decadent personage in his imaginary and his real world.
