Vibration of rolling bearing
Otoupalík, Jan ; Ripel, Tomáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with vibrations caused by geometric defect and fatigue damage of rolling element bearing. Hardware for vibration measurement is tested on 25 new pieces of NJ 304. Second part of the thesis examines if measuring of bearing vibration can help to detect a geometric defect. Geometric defects are detected according to a spectrum of vibration but the results are not absolutely exact. The possibility to detect geometric defects by measuring vibration has not been proven. The end of project tests diagnostic methods for rolling element bearings. The bearing defect was simulated to demonstrate bearing failure frequencies, envelope method and vibration spectrum.
Vibrodiagnostics of electrical machines
Boháček, Daniel ; Vítek, Ondřej (referee) ; Janda, Marcel (advisor)
This thesis deals with methods of vibration analysis in electric rotating machines. From the beginning, it is necessary to explain the basic concepts and introduce the issue of vibration. Next time, the work is focused on sources of vibration in electrical machines. Defects on electric rotating machines causing vibrations are described. Sensing is performed using sensors of deflection, speed and acceleration. The measured signal needs to be adjusted and filters, approximations and sampling will cover this in the next chapter. The main objective is the methods of analysis, which include the best known in the field of frequency analysis (FFT) and the envelope method in the time domain. This includes other methods such as Kurtosis factor, Crest factor, etc. There is also a basic block diagram for measuring vibrations. This block diagram is programmed and has a graphical user interface. The last part is an evaluation of the measured data of the engines.
Analysis of heat consumption of building A2 in the area of FME BUT
Andrýs, Jan ; Štětina, Josef (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
Heat consumption of the building tells us how much heat we need to bring into the building to achieve the desired temperature. From that can be expressed the financial performance of heating of the building. This work deals with the analysis of heating of building A2 FSI VUT Brno. The analysis is done by the envelope method which considered only heat transfer to the surroundings and not inside the building, as they are irrelevant for us in this case. Another aim of this study is to evaluate the heat consumption after making adjustments to the building and evaluation of their returnability, depending on the change of heat consumption. All heat loss calculations were made according to ČSN EN ISO 13790 - Energy Performance of Buildings and ČSN 73 0540 - Thermal protection of buildings. considerated modifications of the building were the replacement of windows, insulation of building envelope and combination of the two previous adjustments simultaneously.
