Driver of Semiconductor laser for 1Gbit/s
Melichárek, Radek ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis describes a design of a driver for a specific type of laser VCSEL. Models for simulation in PSpice OrCAD have been developed for this type of laser. The qualities of the designed driver aim to be equal to the integrated drivers that are available and to remove some of their drawbacks. It consists of the following components: input LVPECL receiver/driver, differential amplifier, fixed source of a modulation current, circuit of automatic power control. Regulation of the modulation current is dealt with atypically using an aptly selected input LVPECL receiver/driver which enables to control the voltage amplitude on its output by means of voltage. The thesis also describes different types of coupling between laser and driver. The most appropriate alternative is selected taking into consideration the unconventional design of the driver. The connection of the driver is supplemented by a microcontroller which secures control of output optical power by means of a serial bus RS232.
Universal controller for car or motorcycle dynamo
Picmaus, Jan ; Knobloch, Jan (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The thesis deals with the issue of design of an electronic controller of charging for historical cars using a dynamo. It contains theoretical analysis of the machine itself (dynamo) and analysis of a shunt wound dynamo and a seperately excited dynamo. It~is also focused on possible usage of a dynamo in various vehicles. The work compares industrially produced controllers with amateur manufacture as well as confronts their positives and negatives. All requests for the implemented controller are deduced from the analysis of the industrial and amateur controllers. The thesis consists of process plan of controller connection including the final working version and also the project and realization of a PCB as well as following description of putting the controller into practice and installation in the car. The thesis includes the project of current and voltage controllers, following adjustment and operation tests with use of the real device.
Design of the low offset rail to rail operational amplifier in CMOS technology
Vrba, Adam ; Khateb, Fabian (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
This work deals with design rail-to-rail operational amplifier in technology CMOS07 using Cadence design environment. Head design goal is small value of random and systematical input offset. Work too contain various technique compensation doth of this offsets. Second goal is head a rail-to-rail input common mode range with use both types of differential pair.
Audio D/A converter used for laboratory measurements
Abrman, Milan ; Stifter,, Jiří (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is design stereo digital to analog convertor for school laboratory usage. Scope of the thesis covers the design of all the functional units: input signal circuit, S/PDIF receiver, D/A converter, high quality analog output stage with active low pass filter. Thesis also cover design of all control and indicating parts containing microcontroller with control parts, alphanumeric OLED display and setting indicators.
Practical testing of methods for analysis of reliability in specific circuit applications
Buba, Ondřej ; Kincl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šotner, Roman (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the method which are useful for analysis of reliability in specific circuit applications. It also deals with fault analysis in frequency, time and DC domain. Methods for these domains are described in other chapter of this thesis. Finally methods for diagnostics analog circuit are evaluated based on simulation and practical testing of selected methods.
Laboratory Tasks for Analogue Technology
Differential amplifiers with bipolar transistors
Vyroubal, Petr ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Horák, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the theory of differential amplifiers with bipolar transistors, an overview of the basic connections and inspection their properties with the help of computer simulation program OrCAD PSpice. The specific type of differential amplifier is carried out experimental measurements, which perform as verification of simulated properties. The aim of this work is to analyze and compare the results obtained using the simulation program and the results obtained by laboratory measurements.
Module for verification of rotational position sensors
Krolák, David ; Růžek, Václav (referee) ; Dřínovský, Jiří (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with design and realisation of a control module for automated measurements of the modern contactless inductive position sensors by a mechanical rotational system consisting of a DC motor and an incremental quadrature encoder. The thesis presents methods of driving DC motor and recording of measured data by a microcontroller. The thesis presents a communication protocol between the control module and personal computer via USB interface. A part of this thesis is also to develop a control software and firmware, including the measurement and evaluation of properties of the control module.
ECG preamplifier with floating input and calibration
Florián, Antonín ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
This thesis deals with amplifiers that are usable for reading of EKG signals. The first part of the thesis deals with the history of EKG and with the features of the EKG signal. The second part of the thesis deals with general requirements and safety requirements that are imposed on EKG preamplifiers. A very important part of the thesis is the description of particular parts of EKG preamplifier and the ways how to acquire reduction of disturbance.
