Smrkal, Vojtěch ; Škopán, Miroslav (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on stress and strain calculations of 2D beams, concerning rotation and deflection on partial beams. Calculations are approached using general solution, Castigliano's theorem and stress energy approach. An integral part of the thesis is also a list of quadratic moments, cross-section characteristics and the utilization of Steiner theorem (Parallel axis theorem).
Examples of hyperstatic beam solutions
Linhart, Lukáš ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This work will discuss the internal deformation and resulting effects in straight beams, which are stored statically certainly indefinitely. The aim of the thesis is to develop a representative summary of selected calculations and drawings, typically stored and loaded beams, solvable in linear elasticity rods. The next section describes the methods to solve statically indeterminate beam, Castiglian´s theorem, the equation of bending lines, the method of Clapeyron´s equations. Sample solution of these methods was performed on the illustrative example.
Strength control of bicycle crank assembly
Kolenčík, Richard ; Skalka, Petr (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is intent on strength-deformation check of bicycle crank assembly. The first part is devoted to check safety of fatigue failure of crank bicycle, which is loaded with combination loading. The second part is devoted on safety analysis of fatigue failure in the case of pedal. Because of low safety´s coefficient is made calculation of high cyclic life of pedal. The last section is devoted to the calculation of maximum deformation of the crank assembly. The analytical calculation was performed by the software Matlab R2012b.
Strain analysis of straight beams with influence of supprot displacement
Štourač, Vít ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Navrátil, Petr (advisor)
These work is focused on the solutions to straight beams statically stored indefinitely and the influence of displacement their support to the final solution. The solution was used Castigliano’s theorem, fluxional equation of bend line methods and beam with internal joints (Gerber beam). As an example, he was elected the two boxes - beam about three supports loaded for the entire length of a line load.
Design and construction of the task to the subject PPI
Král, Jiří ; Krejčí, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with creating of computational model for definition of tensity and deformations of bars system. Then the physical model is made according to the theoretical model. This physical model is used for educational purposes. Next step is measurement of stress and deformation of bars. The final part is focused on eventual variations between theoretical and real model.
Comparison of methods for solving the deformation characteristics of beam
Podsedník, Karel ; Kubík, Petr (referee) ; Damborský, Petr (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is survey, research and practical application of methods determining the deformation characteristics of the beam center. Differential equations of flexural line, Castigliano's theorem and the finite element Metod will be used for solving deformations in linear mechanics of material. The results of analytical solution were verified by numerical calculation in program ANSYS.
Methods of solving stress rods bar system
Lamrich, Martin ; Krpalek, David (referee) ; Florian, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bacalors thesis deals with methods of solving stress rod bar systems and their mutual comparasion. In the first part of this work is mentioned theoretical basic for the subsequent calculations. Graphical, analytical and numerical methods of solving stress rod bar systems are applied to representative examples. Each of the examples contains theoretical part where are mentioned advantages, disadvantages and suitability for use of the methods. Due to Finite Element Method in ANSYS software is carried out a numerical calculation on the solved rod bar systems. Conclusion is intent on summary of work and comparation of results. Analytical calculations were carried out in MATHCAD 14 software.
Strain, stress and strength analysis of the frame construction.
Kysilko, Vít ; Damborský, Petr (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis is intent on the computation of a plane frame which is used for test the resistance of composite tubes to a changing pressure. As a computational model I used simplified frame loaded by solitary forces which work eccentrically from the axis of symmetry of the frame. Because I cannot exactly use the theory of simple elasticity and strength in this task I make two calculations with various shapes of midline. This is twice internally statically indeterminate task, appropriate deformation conditions were solved by Castigliano’s theorem. Bending stress is dominant but in calculation is also composed energy of normal and displacement forces. Inspection of cyclic fatigue was made in possible hazardous places. Analytic calculation was carried out in MAPLE 12 and it was compared with Finite Element Method analysis with Ansys Workbech 12 software.
Strength design of the press frame construction and the compliance calculation at the load position.
Dobeš, Martin ; Suchánek, Miroslav (referee) ; Vrbka, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis is intent on the calculation of a plane frame which is used for hydraulic press. The theoretical basis for the calculation is mentioned in the first part of this thesis. The calculation of a concrete exercise according to the task set in the bachelor's thesis is in the second part. As a frame model we used a plane frame with two crossbeams. The load on the plane frame is interpreted by solitary forces which work upon the crossbeams. The calculation uses the Castiglian's theorem to specify the unknown parameters from deformation conditions. The calculation considers flexion energy of tensity. In the next part of the calculation, we consider the energy of tensity caused by vertical and normal shear for comparison. Coordinates of the load position can be changed at will. The final results of the thesis are a concrete frame proposal and an examination of pliability of the frame. The calculation was carried out in MAPLE 11 software.
Safety factor evaluation for an out-of-plane frame under static loading
Málek, Michal ; Profant, Tomáš (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of safety factor of a space frame when being statically loaded. This examination was demonstrated on a particular example. In order to solve the above mentioned, we exploit the frame symmetry. Unknown parameters were identified from deformation conditions in the point of intersection of the symmetry plane and the frame centreline, where the shift and two turning angles equal zero, and further by means of Maxwell- Mohr variant of Castigliano's theorem for determination of the frame deformation. The basis for calculations of stresses was represented by the theory of combined bar loading, particularly combination of bending and torsion. When examining the frame safety we took into consideration mainly dangerous points possibly occuring through cranks and fixed supports, where stress concentration occurs. The results of analytical solution were verified by numerical calculation in program ANSYS 10.0.
