Analysis and Search in GPS Data
Hrbotický, Jan ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on analysis, processing and storage of GPS data for the purpose of easy presentation by the user in the form of vectors on map. The user can easily read, edit and share his data through the system. It is a client-server interactive web application written in Typescript using the Angular framework. The server side application part is implemented in Nette, which is one of the PHP frameworks. Application uses REST Api for communication with the client-side.
Interactive Form for Tax Returns
Hél, David ; Hrivňák, Ján (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and development of a interactive forms for tax returns in the Czech Republic which are easy to fill in for every taxpayer. For tax returns, official web application is provided. This official app contains imperfections, which are analysed in this thesis. The main goal of this project is to develop simple yes/no forms which will guide users through the whole tax return. Based on user's answers, application generates form, which can be submitted at revenue authority. At the current stage, the application successfully generates the Personal Income Tax form. In the next phase, we expect the involving forms for other types of taxes.
Web Editor for GPX Data
Hendrych, Petr ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a web editor, which will allow the user to view and edit their recorded routes in GPX format. For each route, the user can adjust the position of the selected point, add another or delete an individual point or a selected group. The client part of the application is written in Javascript using the React library. The server part is implemented using the Django framework and the GeoDjango module. Communication between these parts is provided by the Django REST framework. The results of this work allow users to easily edit their tracks in a web browser.

This thesis deals with the development of a web interface of a web document analysis tool. Goal of this interface is to replace old desktop application FitLayout. Own front-end is added to FitLayout back-end. This application is made by Javascript, HTML and visual part is done by CSS and framework Bootstrap. Web documents are in format RDF serialized in JSON-LD. Data are exchanged in the same format between client and server. Result of this thesis enables user to analyse documents in browser same way as in desktop application.
Web Portal for Cooperation of BUT Students
Svetlík, Tomáš ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with the process of creating modern web applications with using UX methods. The aim is to design a web portal to support students cooperation and  verify the design using a test version. Collaborative support focuses on the process of looking for project collaborators. The system allows users to create their own project or to be interested in an existing positions. The web portal was created with modern web technologies such as Laravel or React library.  The output of the thesis is the design, prototype and evaluation of the application, based on user testing.
Non-parametric estimation of parameters of extreme value distribution
Blachut, Vít ; Popela, Pavel (referee) ; Michálek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The concern of this diploma thesis is extreme value distributions. The first part formulates and proves the limit theorem for distribution of maximum. Further there are described basic properties of class of extreme value distributions. The key role of this thesis is on non-parametric estimations of extreme value index. Primarily, Hill and moment estimator are derived, for which is, based on the results of mathematical analysis, suggested an alternative choice of optimal sample fraction using a bootstrap based method. The estimators of extreme value index are compared based on simulations from proper chosen distributions, being close to distribution of given rain-fall data series. This time series is recommended a suitable estimator and suggested choice of optimal sample fraction, which belongs to the most difficult task in the area of extreme value theory.
Information System of a Dog Breeding Club
Čapoun, Ivo ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with requirements analysis and specification, design and implementation of information system for dog breeding club. The system allows users to manage informations about dogs, kennels, litters and persons. It includes the club event manager. The ability to edit received payments that automatically trigger additional actions. Allows you to ask a cover sheet that is pending approval after it is created. The system offers management and planning of litter inspections. The result of the litter checks can be entered into the system. For dogs, the system renders their pedigrees for three generations backwards. Some information is statistically evaluated and results are displayed in charts.
