Uživatelsky orientované produkty technologického pokroku jsou všudypřítomné a mají nepopiratelný vliv na člověka i na společnost. Cílem této semestrální práce je shrnout negativní důsledky používání těchto technologií a poukázat na možné hrozby se zaměřením na kognitivní funkce lidského mozku, behaviorální závislosti, které tyto technologie přinesly a uzavřít práci nabídnutím možných řešení dílčích problémů a návrhem výzkumných metod, kterými by se dal průzkum na dané téma rozšířit.
Problematic viewing of Internet pornography in relation to social phobia

(v AJ) Internet porngraphy offers immediate sexual pleasure without much effort. Pornography also provides almost unlimited content and the possibility of watching harder pornography when soft pornography doesn't meet one's needs anymore. This is similar to substance induced tolerance. These properties make watching pornography a potentially addictive behaviour. Social phobia is an anxiety disorder characterized by severe anxiety in social situations This thesis attemps to find an association between social phobia and problematic pornography viewing. The purpose of this study was to determine, if there was a correlation between problematic pornography viewing and social phobia. Another goal of this study was to determine the prevalence of problematic pornography viewing and look at how different sociodemographic factors impact it. Prevalnce of problematic pornography viewing was slightly less than 5%. Only severe social phobia was pozitively correlated with problematic pornography viewing. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of compulsive buying, phenomenon which is a current topic for today's society and its incidence is rising. The area of oniomania includes psychological but also social and financial aspects of the disorder. The thesis focuses mainly on the sphere of introduction of oniomania, as a great danger to man and society, especially in the context of financial illiteracy. Enough room is devoted to explication of main key words from the area of addictions (drug addictions and behavioral addictions). Attention has also been dedicated to an important chapter of the issue of gender in context to the pathological shopping and also to topics of getting to know the possibilities of treatment and prevention. The practical part of the thesis deals with research of level of awareness and orientation issues of shopping addiction among university students Using analysis of submitted questionnaires, this part of the thesis tries to find answers to fundamental questions related to the theme of financial literacy.
Analysis of usage personal Computers and smart Phones by Adolescents

Michaela Klimešová Annotation This thesis strives to grasp pitfalls of overuse of multimedia technologies by children of elementary and secondary schools in Czech Republic. The practical part is based on quantitative questionnaire and its statistical evaluation in program R. Key words Game addition, non-substance addiction, behavioral addiction, leisure time, school results Resumé The questionnaire in this thesis has around 30 questions regarding time of school children spent on digital devices - PC's, smart phones, etc. Further shortly DD. The data set has 156 children from last years of elementary schools and 157 children from first years of high schools (so called gymnázium in Czech Republic). The results consistently show that the more time a child spends on digital devices the worse has grades in mathematics and Czech language (the two main subjects). So the naive expectations of parents - the more PC, the more knowledge - is utterly misleading. The questionnaire cannot measure negative impact of time on DD up to two hours a day. There are some sex specific differences. Boys significantly prefer to play games. Girls prefer social networks. Boys has bigger...

Introduction: This thesis deals with addictive behavior in relation to modern technologies in children of early school age. Modern technologies are part of the lives of ever younger children, but it is not entirely known what effect the use of these technologies has on a child's development at this age, his cognitive or social abilities. Objectives: The aim of this research was to map the addictive behavior on modern technologies in children of early school age. Following the patterns of use of modern technology that children show, what opinion the parent and the child themself have about the use of modern technologies by children, and what is the difference between these two opinions. Also, the aim of this research was to describe what rules or restrictions parents set within the use of modern technologies by their children. Sample: The sample consisted of 8 parents of children of early school age and the children themselves. From each parent one child at age 6-9 years. The selection was made by the method of simple intentional (purposeful) selection. Methods: The research part of this thesis was performed in a qualitative form. Addictive behavior on Instagram

This diploma thesis focuses on possible emergency of addicted behaviour due to Instagram usage. The number of users of this social network is constantly rising and the age limit, when children first come into contact with this platform, is constantly decreasing. Foreign experts strongly support the inclusion of this addiction among mental illnesses in ICD 10. In the Czech Republic, we encounter more controversial views on this disease. There is a lack of any extensive research to confirm the fact that this is really an addiction that affects the lives of social network users. The aim of this thesis is to prove or refute that this social network can actually cause addiction to its users. The theoretical part first deals with the origin of addictive behavior, the nature of behavioral addiction, what factors can affect addiction and how this addiction can affect the life quality of the individual. The research is focused on older school age pupils and adolescents. Because social networks are so diverse, the diagnostic interview is further specified only on the addictive behavior caused by the Instagram network. Addiction Issues of High School Students

The bachelor thesis deals with the substance abuse problematics (addiction on legal and illegal substances) and so-called non-substance, also known as behavioural addictions (gambling addiction, computer addiction, internet addiction) which concern high school pupils. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to general characteristics of addiction and it also describes how the addiction begins and progresses. The practical part is based on a survey which was distributed on high schools. The aim of this thesis is to find out personal experience of substance abuse among pupils attending high school and to determine the time spent on the computer, internet and mobile device.
Influence of cyberspace on social relationships of adolescents

The following diploma thesis deals, in accordance with its objectives and recommended primary literature, with addictive behavior in the Internet environment of adolescents, in the context of social services. The theoretical part resulted from the above mentioned primary literature, but due to its year of publication also from a variety of other up-to-date resources. The legislative frame and conditions necessary to diagnose addictive behavior. The social work with adolescents which has an addictive behavior on the Internet is primarily based on sector theories, but also points to multidisciplinary approaches. The empirical part, consisting of a questionnaire and subsequent analysis of the first grade, examines some aspects of adolescent behavior in cyberspace. The work is completed with a proposal for optimization measures.
