Recognizing Faces within Image
Svoboda, Pavel ; Žák, Pavel (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
The essence of face recognition within the image is generally computer vision, which provides methods and algorithms for the implementation. Some of them are described just in this work. Whole process is split in to three main phases. These are detection, aligning of detected faces and finally its recognition. Algorithms which are used to applied in given issue and which are still in progress from todays view are mentioned in every phase. Implementation is build up on three main algorithms, AdaBoost to obtain the classifier for detection, method of aligning face by principal features and method of Eigenfaces for recognizing. There are theoretically described except already mentioned algorithms neural networks for detection, ASM - Active Shape Models algorithm for aligning and AAM - Active Appearance Model for recognition. In the end there are tables of data retrieved by implemented system, which evaluated the main implementation.
Detection of face parts in the thermographic spectrum
Šujan, Miroslav ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with current problems of face detection and its parts in the infrared thermographic spectrum. Most previously published literature deals with the detection in the visible spectrum, making the thermographic detection range an interesting alternative. The work deals with the processing of image signals, images and faces in thermographic spectrum, selected methods of face detection and its parts and also deals with practical system design for detecting facial parts in this spectrum and its subsequent testing.
Modern Algorithms of AC Servo-drives Control
Hrnčárek, Martin ; Blaha, Petr (referee) ; Václavek, Pavel (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the modern algorithms of the asynchronous induction machine and permanent magnet induction machine. It focuses at vector control, direct torque control and input-output feedback linearization. It also describes a library creation and its usages in the Matlab – Simulink environment. The final part of this thesis contains an implementation of chosen algorithms on the DSC Freescale 56F800E family.
Real-time Facial Feature Tracking
Peloušek, Jan ; Mekyska, Jiří (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis considers the problematic of the object recognition in a digital picture, particularly about the human face recognition and its components. There are described the basics of the computer vision, the object detector Viola-Jones, its computer realization with help of the OpenCV libraries and the test results. This thesis also describes the accurate system of the facial features detection per the algorithm of the Active Shape Models and also related mechanism of the classifier training, including the software implementation.
Java Bytecode Size Optimization
Poncová, Vendula ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This paper deals with the Java bytecode size optimization. It describes the Java Virtual Machine and the Java class file format. It also presents some tools for the bytecode manipulation. Using these tools, I have analyzed selected data and found sequences of instructions, that could be optimized. Based on the results of the analysis, I have designed and implemented methods for bytecode size optimization. The bytecode size of the selected data was reduced by roughly 25%.
IPTV multicast model with RTP protocol
Ležák, Aleš ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis contains questions of simulation data transfer by ASM multicast. In simulation tool Opnet Modeler is proceed design of service IPTV. IPTV means television which is transfered in network by IP protocol. Data of IPTV service are sending by multicast transfer. Multicast is a technology which uses a group transfer. It is actually communication of a one source of data with many users. These users are receiving the same data. A main target of this technology is to decrement loading of source node and transference system in distribution of data towards group of users. Most often is multicast used in distribution of audiovisual data. Relation RTP/RTCP is simulated with a different numbers of users. Observed is interval of transmission of control RTCP packets. This will be reached by two methods which will be confront in the end. One is a theoretic calculation by course of a equation and second is a practical simulation in Opnet Modeler.
Real-time protocol implementation
Procházka, Jan ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Thesis deals with multicast broadcasts, discusses the type of ASM and SSM. Also deals with the principle of RTP / RTCP protocol for large multicast groups, for example, broadcasting IPTV. It was created a model for simulating the behavior of the network load in a large number of receivers. The application was developed in Java and uses the recommendations of RFC3550. There are also analysed processes of communication, initialization, log out, the structure of the data packets and signaling packets. The system is designed that can simulate multicast network and obtain the estimated parameters of the operation, or can operate in real traffic, for example, as a third-party monitor. In both modes, the measurement was carried out model situations. The results of the measurements were then compared. Principle and system control was described in detail. Output measurements are graphically processed and included in the work.
Face Recognition
Kopřiva, Adam ; Hradiš, Michal (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis considers methods of face recognition. There are described methods with different approachs: knowledge-based methods, feature invariant approaches, template matching methods and appearance-based methods. This master's thesis is focused particulary on template matching method and statistical methods like a principal component analysis (PCA) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA). There are described in detail template matching methods like active shape models (ASM) and active appearance models (AAM).
Monitoring Application for Multicast sessions
Kopecký, Martin ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Šimek, Milan (advisor)
This work deals with a monitoring application for multicast sessions. The general aim is to develop the application for monitoring multicast sessions from network elements of a laboratory computer network. The first part describes possibilities of monitoring computer networks in terms of monitoring techniques and protocols. The second part contains a topology of the laboratory computer network and several basic commands for setting of the multicast in Cisco IOS. The third part is devoted to the developed application for monitoring the multicast in Java language. The last part describes the testing on an actual multicast network and an example of such testing is stated there.
