Trade House in Brno
Serbousková, Kateřina ; Sýkora, Karel (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
The final thesis deals with the design of the steel loadbearing structure of the shopping center situated in Brno. The built-up floor area is 1973 m2 (L-shaped ground plan with dimensions 48 m x 50 m). The construction consists of three parts. Building A has four above-ground floors and reaches a height of 25.5 m. The steel structure of mono-pitched roof is designed in two options. Both options consist of full-length purlins and truss girders. Building B is a single-storey building with a mono-pitched roof top reaching 8.1 m high. Building C is three-storey with a flat roof. The first floor has a construction height of 4.5 m and the remaining two floors reach height of 3.6 m, which coincide with building A. The steel structure is made of steel-concrete composite ceilings and pin-supported columns. In the case of bracings, pressure was eliminated by means of non-linearities.The work includes proposal, assessment of the supporting structure and calculation of the directional details. Internal forces were determined based on a static analysis in the SCIA Engineer calculation program.
Multi - Purpose Sports Hall
Baudišová, Monika ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a multi-purpose sports hall. The aim of this work is to design a support structure with a diameter of 80.0 m at ± 0.000. Construction of a circular layout in the level of ± 0.000 of an external diameter 80.0 m. Height of the hall at the top is 20.0 m Indoors girders is solved in 36 beams which meet at the middle of the rings. Ensure the stability of bracing. Anchoring is done by pin connections located at the bottom of the strip, anchored in concrete bases through the base plate and pre-concreted anchor bolts.
Static analysis of detail of metal connection
Efenberk, Tomáš ; Nevařil, Aleš (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is structural analysis of detail of metal connection. This is a connection of the celiling and the beam. The program by Dlubal Software s. r. o. was used to create the model. The model was developed on the basis of a semester project “Multi-storey building of mass garages” from the source of the subject BO008 – Metal Structures 2. The model was developed in accordance with valid EN ISO standards. The main purpose of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the classical steel connection and to simulate as closely as possible the conditions of the load, which are connected to the metal connection.
Office Building
Poláček, Petr ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
Master's thesis is follow up with the disign of the load bearing structure of a office building. The building is designed for the area of Svitavy. The plan's dimension are 54,0 x 54,0 m. The objects has 10 floors. Load-bearing structure is disigned in two variants. In the variant A is centre to centre spacing 6m, in variant the B it si 9m. The coulomns and floor structure are composite steel-concrete. Thesis includes drawings.
Strain-stress analysis of the throttle valve components
Lisický, Ondřej ; Vosynek, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with stress-strain analysis of component, which is used for regulation of gas quantity, which comes into gas boiler. There will be acquaintance with issue, determining load and consecutive application of this load in ANSYS. At the end there is a chapter pursuing of experiment on the component.
Steel structure of a military museum
Šašinka, Jakub ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Štrba, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis describes the design and assessment of steel structure of the roofing of the military museum in Králíky. The supporting structure of hall is 40.00 meters span. The total layout are 55.93 x 72.04 m, building height 11.43 m, 16.11 m pylon height. Main construction material is steel, grade S355, secondary constructions are made from steel grade S235, rods are made from steel grade S460. I did optimization of steel structure and chose the best option. For this option I made detailed structural analysis. It is prepared by static analysis of the main load-bearing parts of the structure, including joints and details. The supporting structure of hall consists in the transverse direction from the curved spatial lattice structure made of steel circular tubes which hang on rods on a sloped pylon. Part of the report is open-air roofing.
Industrial building
Kočí, Petr ; Buchta, Stanislav (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with proposal of a load-bearing steel structure of a single-bay hall in accordance with the space arrangement of the building with span of 24 m, length of 63 m and 8,7 m height of a modular crane cantilever. Two bridge cranes are designed with a load capacity of 12,5t and 32/8 t. Essential load-bearing element of the building are transversal frames designed in 12m distance formed by truss girder and solid columns cantilevered at the plane of a transversal main frame. Roof panels are fixed onto the parabolic purlins. Hall is located in the Ustí nad Labem region.
Connecting Footbridge
Sláma, Jakub ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Brosch, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this master’s thesis was desingn and assessments the connection of two buildings by footbridge corridor. The structure was designed as a lattice structure without verticals. Construction is stored on two pillars lattice design. Cladding footbridge was cosidered by glazing. Construction is freestanding and doesn’t load bordering adjacent buildings.
Analysis of the design of the bolted connection pivot plate-wheel of bucket wheel stacker-reclaimerLoader
Šrajer, Jan ; Bořucký, Martin (referee) ; Pokorný, Přemysl (advisor)
This thesis describes an analysis of the design of the bolted connection pivot plate-wheel of bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer loader. The challenge solution is to decide whether the current design is suitable. The thesis contains comparison of calculation according to VDI regulation with the ČSN, performing stress analysis using FEM calculation model and a design of changes, joint bearings with steel structures.
The Sport Hall in Prostějov
Houška, Daniel ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The goal of the submitted thesis is a design and assessment of a steel load-bearing structure of a multipurpose sports hall situated in Prostějov. The floor plan measurements of the object are 38x54 m with the maximum ceiling height of 9,5 m. Final design variant was chosen on the basis of two preliminary drafts, both processed according to standard ČSN EN. The structure is designed with respect to ultimate and serviceability limit states. The construction consists of 10 cross-links spaced by 6,0 m. The spatial rigidity of the structure’s main load-bearing system is provided by spatial elliptic trussed girders, longitudinal and sway bracings. Roof cladding is carried by purlins placed on trusses. Steel columns are designed as a part of gable walls. The project was carried out in Scia Engineer 2014 software. Some particular elements were subsequently assessed by means of manual calculation. The thesis also includes assessment of joints, construction details and drawing documentation.
