Prevention of bullying at a selected primary school

The diploma thesis deals with the issue and prevention of bullying in elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis characterizes concepts in relation to the topic. It deals with the prevention of risky behavior, especially bullying in the Czech Republic. It examines not only individual components of prevention, but also individual differences and its history. It deals with the difference between specific and non-specific prevention and describes its purpose. The theoretical part also focuses on the school's preventive program and its characteristics. Part of the diploma thesis is also a practical part, which is focused on the prevention of bullying at a specific primary school. It mainly focuses on how to approach the prevention of bullying. The work is processed as a case study and qualitative research is used to obtain the necessary data, specifically an interview in which the participants from the ranks of pedagogues, the teacher of the school group, prevention methodologists and the school principal took part. The goal is to find out whether specific or non-specific prevention is carried out at the school and whether the participants, school employees, are aware of its purpose. Readiness of beginning teachers for prevention and solution of school bullying

This thesis discusses to what extent new teachers are equipped and prepared to prevent and deal with school bullying. The theoretical part aims to define used terms and explain what they entail. These terms include: new teachers, teacher typology, teacher training, bullying, stages of bullying, bullying prevention, and above all, steps to handle bullying. The practical part focuses on the conducted qualitative research, describing the chosen method, the process and its results. It offers answers to whether new teachers feel equipped and prepared to deal with and prevent school bullying or not. The main aim of the research is to find out how new teachers handle situations related to school bullying: which detection methods they use; with whom they cooperate; how they address these situations or how they would do so. Moreover, the thesis provides an insight into how prepared they feel, with their formal qualification and training, for these crisis situations.
Drama as the Prevention against Bullying at the first grade of the primary school

The diploma thesis deals with methods and techniques of drama education, which we can use to prevent bullying at the first grade of the primary school. The theoretical part defines the concept of bullying and the definition of this concept. It also describes the forms, types and characteristic features of bullying. The theoretical part also focuses on the actors of bullying, describes the causes, development, subsequent manifestations of bullying as well as its consequences. In the theoretical part, we also deal with the area of bullying prevention at the 1st grade of elementary school. In the second half of the theoretical part, drama education at the first level of elementary school is defined, its goals and key competences that it develops at the first level. Here, the work focuses on the methods and techniques of dramatic education, which can be used to prevent bullying. The practical part contains a prepared drama lesson using the methods and techniques of drama education for pupils of the 5th year of the first stage of primary school, which is focused on the prevention of bullying in primary school. The influence of leisure time on socially pathological phenomena in lower secondary education

The thesis deals with the influence of leisure time on socially pathological phenomena in pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school. The theoretical part describes the concept of leisure time and its meaning, as well as functions and factors that affect leisure time. Subsequently, it characterizes socially pathological phenomena, deals with the cause of these phenomena and their classification together with prevention. It also contains a research survey based on quantitative research. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether leisure time has an impact on socially pathological phenomena in pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school.
Assistant teachers perspectives on the issues of bullying of children with special education needs

This dissertation focuses on the problematics of bullying of children with special educational needs from the point of view of the teacher's assistant. This dissertation is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part aims to define the expression of bullying, its forms and its participants. Furthermore it defines the expression of a child with special educational needs, it describes the use of support measures and the concept of inclusive education. The theoretical part also introduces contemporary measures for prevention and intervention of bullying at mainstream elementary schools. Additionally it focuses and discusses the job of the teacher's assistant and the possibilities of his or hers collaboration with the teacher and the classroom. The aim of the practical part is to determine the personal experiences of teacher's assistants with bullying of children with special educational needs and their possible role regarding prevention and intervention of bullying. Qualitative research in the form of semi-structured interviews with teacher's assistants at mainstream elementary schools was used as a data collection.

The bachelor's thesis deals with bullying in high schools and its possible preventi-on. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the concept of bullying and its manifestations, types of bullying, participants, and finally, prevention. All sources of information come from profes-sional literature. The practical part is focused on a survey conducted in high schools within the South Moravian Region. Its aim is to reveal experiences with bullying and the extent of bullying among high school students. The practical part is in the form of a questionnaire survey, and the results are evaluated using sta-tistical methods and presented in graphs.

The bachelor's thesis deals with bullying in high school and its prevention. The work is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part defines terms such as bullying and cyberbullying. Classifies types of bullying and stages of bullying. It also deals with the individual actors of bullying, such as the aggressor and the victim, and the effects of bullying on the aggressor and sacrifice. The work points to the reasons, means and, above all, the strategy of investigating bullying. The conclusion of the theoretical part belongs to prevention and the preventive measures themselves. The practical part is devoted to the presentation of the re-sults of the own questionnaire survey, which aimed to find out what experiences students of selected secondary schools have with bullying and cyberbullying. All data from the carried out own research are compared with theoretical knowledge and research results that have already been interpreted on this topic.

The main topic of this thesis is focused on the issue of cyberbullying among secondary schools’ students. The idea of the work is to know, describe and interpretate the problem of cyberbullying at secondary schools. This thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part are described information and communication technology, online security, social networks with describe, describe of bullying. Next and main section is about phenomenon of cyberbullying, which is described, divided and reader gets to know about the characters of cyberbullying. As well as protection and coping strategies, prevention programmes. At last, but not least the differences between traditional bullying and cyberbullying. In the practical part the author tries to get know if secondary schools’ students are threatened with cyberbullying, if they know what cyberbullying really is, how is wide, if they actively particulate in this phenomenon and who they let know (if so). End of the questionnaire is focused on their relationship with social networks. The questionnaire was distributed online and physically.

The bachelor thesis deals with bullying in secondary school and its prevention. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part contains the definition of bullying, its development, occurrence, causes or motives. It classifies types of bullying, differences between bullying and teasing or bullying between genders. The thesis also includes solutions or pre-vention of bullying and basic concepts such as aggression and aggressiveness. The second part of the theoretical part is devoted to explaining the term cyberbullying, how it differs from traditional bullying or legisla-tive cyberbullying. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis I chose the quantitative me-thod. Using a questionnaire survey that was filled out by random respondents from a high school in Brno. The questionnaire was sent to a total of 78 students. The results of this investigation were processed in graphical form.
Psychological aspects of preventing pathological relationships, aggressive behavior and bullying among children's groups

This thesis focuses on prevention of pathological relationships, aggressive behaviour and bullying among children's groups. The aim of this thesis is to map the theoretical phenomena related to prevention of this pathology. The thesis consists of two key areas- theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part defines the concepts used by the author within the text, summarizes and describes in the risk factors associated with the development of pathological relationships, aggressive behaviour and bullying and also describes the impact of these pathologies on its protagonists. The largest part is devoted to the possibilities and methods of prevention and the factors that affect it. Prevention is divided according to the environment (prevention in the family, at school and in leisure activities of children). In the final chapter of the theoretical part, the author focuses on selected specific primary prevention programs, which are described, analyzed and assessed for their effectiveness. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a research proposal, which is aimed at examining the relation between efficiency of selected prevention programs and the attitudes towards these programs and violence and bullying in general that are taken and expressed by teachers.
