Suffix Trees Construction and Their Use in Bioinformatics
Hlaváček, Pavel ; Čermák, Martin (referee) ; Martínek, Tomáš (advisor)
This work discusses problems of suffix trees implementation and their use in bioinformatics. There are given different sorts of algorithms for building suffix trees in this work. In the first place, it deals with the on-line method implementation for building suffix trees, proposed by E. Ukkonen and approximate string matching. That is made by application of dynamic programming principles, adapted for  using suffix trees. Both of these methods are described by pseudocode and implemented in a work supplement.
Dictionary Up-Translation System
Schovajsa, Michal ; Kouřil, Jan (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis concerns with the processing of dictionaries in electronic form, converting them into an unified form, and the problems arising in the process in particular. The subject of the work is to create a system for the elimination of some of these problems in order to facilitate machine processing of dictionaries. At first, different issues of dictionaries transferred into an unified form are concerned. Then, the thesis deals with the solution of these issues and the creation of tools for this purpose. Finally, the results and the efficiency of the instruments created are evaluated.
Chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy
Hák, Jaroslav ; Rašev, Eugen (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title of diploma thesis: Chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy Objective: The purpose of this thesis is to research available literary sources concerning the meaning of the term chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders in the field of physiotherapy and describing possible mechanisms of this phenomena. In addition, the thesis researchs literary resources showing demonstrations of various concepts and authors that work with this topic, inculding examples of various chains. Methods: This diploma thesis has descriptively-analytical character. It is structured in the form of literary research. Results: On the basis of the researched literary sources, the thesis explains the meaning of the term chaining of musculoskeletal disorders in physiotherapy. Based on the meaning, we showed various possible mechanisms of this phenomena. Subsequently, we found various demonstrations of works of various concepts and authors in this field including examples of various chain structures. Key words: chain, chaining, disorder, movement system
Localization plugin for Visual Studio
Štumpf, Ondřej ; Malý, Jakub (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
Many applications nowadays are intended to be used worldwide, supporting several languages in user interface. The process of making the application aware of multilingual environments is called localization. The programming languages used to develop such applications provide certain support for localization, but it is not perfect and may significantly complicate the development. This project aims to solve the problem in the .NET Framework environment by creating a plugin for Microsoft Visual Studio, which helps developers with routine tasks associated with localization. The most common .NET programming languages and technologies are supported, i.e. C#, Visual Basic .NET and ASP .NET. The plugin makes it possible to extract localizable string literals from source code (offering help with selecting only the relevant ones) and move them to specified resource files and vice versa. Also, editor of resource files is provided, helping developers maintain only relevant content in them and perform advanced operations with the resource files.
Optimization of waste reverse logistics management system
VALTA, Tomáš
The target and aim of this diploma thesis was the optimization of the waste management reverse logistics system in the framework of FAST Kovošrot, Ltd. as a provider of waste management services. It is a company engaged in the purchase, processing and subsequent sale of metal waste mainly on the territory of the South Bohemian Region and Vysočina. It is therefore obvious that reverse logistics is the mainstay of almost all the company's activities. As part of the study of the backlog logistics flows of the selected company, the necessary amount of information and data was obtained for the subsequent optimization of the system. All data was obtained through managed interviews, direct attendance observation, and the study of available in-house statements. On the basis of such documents, the area of data exchange was designated as an area with potential for streamlining the overall process and introducing an electronic communication system. A thorough study of the current communication system between the business and its business partners was followed by which the individual data and values were sorted out. It has been found that the company uses classical data exchange, type of invoices and orders, that is, their receipt and distribution in paper form, which results in individual costs of postage, printing and others, as explained in the practical part of the thesis. At present, it is a rather outdated and ineffective system that can be innovated in spending. As another area with potential for improvement in terms of logistics technology operation, RFID tagging has been selected. The implementation of this method would require an initial investment, but would mean a significant increase in the efficiency of the registration and order picking for the company. The third proposed option for improving the functioning of the company's reverse logistics is to modify existing containers that would be equipped with ultrasonic sensors to capture their capacity.

Title of diploma thesis: Chaining of the musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy Objective: The purpouse of this thesis is to research available literary sources describing the possible mechanisms of chaining of musculoskeletal disorders from various viewpoints in physiotherapy. Methods: This diploma thesis has descriptively-analytical character. It is structured in the form of literary research. Results: On the basis of the researched literary sources, the thesis shows the possible mechanisms of chaining of musculoskeletal disorders. The mechanisms are as follows: Reactions of movement system to postural instability, relations of body segments in closed kinetic chains, compensations of joint blockades in the spine, influence of tensile forces in fascial system, rebuilding of motor stereotypes due to dysfunction of one of their elements, activation of muscles together with motor stereotype, which don't contribute to its function, influence of one stabilization synergy on the function of the other during punctum fixum stabilization, relations between agonistic and antagonistic muscles, relations between tonic and phasic muscles, reflex changes in one spinal segment (or adjacent segments) due to nociceptive irritation, protective activity of muscles (with possibility of...
