Use of Internet for Talent Acquisition

This diploma thesis presents the current knowledge on the use of internet for the purpose of talent acquisition. Its main objective is to determine to what extent organizations emphasize this knowledge in practice. For this purpose the first chapter refers to the academic compilation of talent management concept. The aim is to define the term of talent within the talent management concept as well as within the personal management. The second charter presents the academic compilation in the field of recruitment focused on specifics in talented individuals acquiring. The third chapter presents current knowledge of internet recruitment. Next chapters focus on recruitment in practice by analyzing the online recruitment documentation of three specific organizations. Based on this analysis, it is apparent, that the surveyed organizations accentuate current trends to a large extent. The Human Development System in the Organisation

Topic of this thesis is Human Development System in the Organisation. Main objective is to identify and evaluate current development of HR in ABC, a.s. Development of human resource is part of human resource management. It includes training, talent management, career planing and competence management. In practical part of this thesis was analysed HR development in ABC, a.s., based on research and there are desined improvements for current situation. When were searching for suitable recommendations were taken into account primarily the views of employees obtained quantitative research and the trends in this area. Suggested is the introduction of interactive methods of education, implementation of program Action learning and webinary.
Talent Management in business practice

The dissertation is focused in detail on the topic of Talent Management - talent management in the corporate practice. The aim of the dissertation is to verify that the general trends of the current talent management are applied in the business (corporate) practice. The core of the initial part is the analysis of available resources to the topic of current talent management (vocational studies, outcomes of professional conferences, newspaper articles, publications and statements of respondents). The authentication part is based on a research study in the region of the former district Klatovy. The conclusion is divided into several sub-outcomes - recommendations for the respondents, including proposed timetable for implementation, a summary of the best practices in talent management, a description of talent management specification observed according to the focus and the company size, and also the indication of the possible pitfalls of talent management.

This assignment aims on the differences between the theory and praxes in managing of talented workers. The first part of the assignment is elaborated on theoretical base only and it is focused mainly on explanation of "talent" and "talent management" expressions. Further on the first part describes specific areas where the accent in talent management is necessary. The second part on the contrary to the first part deals with practical issues, processes and programs of the IBM. With respect to the company's size it is necessary to have the talent management precisely prepared as a part of company strategy, which is accomplished as a company's routine not only as a paperwork. This part contains process description of talent identification, selection, development and also retaining talented workers. Single area descriptions are completed by pictures and tables to make it well-arranged. In this section there are partly compared praxes with the theory. There is shown confrontation among theoretically defined areas and processes of talent management and IBM's areas and processes of talent management. Also important is different understanding of "talent" between theory and praxes. The third part summarizes findings and conclusions based on the confrontation between practical and theoretical parts. The fourth part evaluates actual topic of world financial crisis and its impact on the field of talent management mainly from benefits and bonuses for talented workers point of view.
