Pupil's disturbing behaviour at primary school

The diploma thesis deals with disruptive behaviour of pupils at primary school. The theoretical part of this thesis explains the concepts of school discipline and disruptive pupils' behaviour; the chapters deal with displays, causes and forms of disruptive behaviour, its prevention and following solutions. The practical part provides qualitative research that was performed at the primary school. The aim of the research is a detection of frequent forms of disruptive behaviour occurrence during teaching at Primary School in Sušice. Among the research tasks was a comparison of teachers' and pupils' perspective of disruptive behaviour in the classes from the first to fifth. The research also observed what kind of behaviour is really disturbing for the pupils during their classes and what are the classmates' and teachers' reactions towards it. The following task, focused on supporting teachers - beginners, was to receive functional solution strategies from experienced teachers or prevention of disruptive behaviour. For answering these questions, a method of interview with a class teacher was used, a method of interview for pupils of classes from the third to fifth, and a method of a focus-group for pupils of the first and second classes. Critical issues in English language teacher education regarding lesson planning and classroom management

This thesis is part of a GAJU team project focusing on critical points in the preparation of foreign language teachers. Its main aim is to highlight critical points in the undergraduate preparation of foreign language teacher education students related to lesson planning and classroom management. In the theoretical part, the thesis addresses the topics of teacher requirements and stages of teacher preparation, classroom management and lesson planning. In the practical part, the author conducts a questionnaire survey with master's students in the subject areas and novice foreign language teachers to map critical points in lesson preparation and its implementation in practice. Then she conducts follow-up interviews with selected respondents on the themes emerging from the questionnaire results.
Class management at the 1st and 2nd year of a primary school in non-standard conditions.

The diploma thesis is focused on the topic of managing classes at the first and second level of elementary school in non standard conditions. Specifically, the COVID-19 pandemic. The restrictions which prohibited physical attendance of children in schools required a change in teaching and a necessity to by flexible in reacting to the crisis measures. Distance learning was a new form of learning for teachers, the pupils and their parents alike. The theoretical portion explains views on guidance of the classroom, discusses the school classroom and the specifics of the first and second level of elementary school. Managing a classroom is a demanding field and there is no general united guide to a functional approach. The teacher perfects themselves through experience and decides on their own what strategies to use. The last chapter of the theoretical portion describes the pandemic and characterizes distance learning. It goes into detail on the situation in the Czech Republic and offers an overview of arisen platforms that should provide communication aid not only for teachers. This diploma thesis deals with novice primary teachers' interaction with pupils. The aim of the thesis is to find out which strategies prevent lack of discipline and to compare methods of novice teachers with experienced teachers. It also deals with classroom management and teachers' ethics.
