Belousova, Anastasiia ; Erben, Adam (referee) ; Pavlovský, Tomáš (advisor) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
The theme of The Bachelor's thesis is a design of the dance school in Brno-Zabrdovice area. The project focuses on a contrstruction of a buildingless gap on the crossing of the Milady Horakove and Prikop streets. The goal is to cover up two large areas of adjacent buildings with a new building. The object is divided into two parts. The first one has a better access for the public. Inside there is a large dance hall that can be rented for various events, music school for adults and a cafe with a terrace on the third floor. The second part is a major eight-story building, which includes dance halls of various sizes, locker rooms with their own sanitation facilities and spaces designed either for rent or as the offices of teachers of the dance school. The upper floors are reserved for students‘ accommodation. Each accommodation unit includes a bedroom, a small kitchen, a dressing room and sanitary facilities. The roomes are suited for one or two students. The entire underground floor is used to park cars and store bicycles. There are also technical rooms and a Boiler Room. For the convenience of residents, the building wis designed as a pass-through. There is a small park with leveling staircases located at the back yard. During the summer season, the lawn can be used as a recreation place for students or residents of the city. The entire structure is designed in accordance with the requirements for Immobile use of structures. The multifunctionality of the new building ideally complements the existing educational facilities of the city, such as kindergartens, high schools, grammar schools and universities.
Identity Background
Kleinerová, Zuzana ; Kleinerová, Klára (referee) ; Klodová, Lenka (advisor)
Diploma thesis Background identity is a series of events through which I am trying to find a harmony between the magic of art and life. I decided to initiate the situation, "performance" mediating an authentic, strong feelings. I tend to performance associated with life in the self-reflective approach. Based in my own performative practice in which the strength and authenticity is reflected primarily in the exchange of energy between the audience and the performer. I started to define an ideal conditions for performance to achieve this exchange, authentic experience and mutual perception of the situation within the relationship between "performer" and "spectator". In November 2015 I planned "authentic performances " series . The mutual forming of "performing" act I have anchored in the concept of identity, which is infinitely formed in relationships and the never-ending negotiation process. In the name of authenticity I am exposing myself within the anonymity of public space and waiting for the moment of identification. Waiting for concrete spectator who is already a part of me within a certain social role. Unexpected intervention into the everyday life of concrete person make the opportunity of authentic experience. Experience which is a part of his everyday life completes the action, giving the context. During the realization I got the opportunity to exhibit in the Palais de Tokyo. Aware of the significance of this opportunity for the development of my own artistic career I have decided to accepted it as a challenge. Although the terms of institution are utter contradiction of those conditions I had defined previously for authentic experience. In the name of authenticity and my principles I decided to be present in the role of spectator. To be invisible to this prestigious gallery. Be invisible to the artistic group Delta Total through which I had the opportunity to exhibit. To be inside and outside in the same time. The starting point of the last part is a necessity with the goal to get a master's degree. The necessity of outcome for jury can also betray my ideals of living authentic event. I should mediate all the experience of past events (to date 20th of April- thirty-three events) which happened in so many different places in the space of "Malá Amerika" in Brno...
Purposeful updating of a set of historical objects
Láníková, Petra ; Maar, Radek (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The grounds of the Porta Coeli monastery have been revived since their return to the Cistercian order, in restitution in 1995. The monastery's management is gradually trying to repair and improve it. Due to the large area and the long time of neglect, this is a task for a long time. In my work, I am looking for other possibilities for using currently unused and often dilapidated buildings. The main entrance to the complex is through a passage in the new fort building. Most pedestrians flow through here and continue to walk through the linden alley. As part of the revitalization, I would like to propose in my project the use of this linden alley for the organization of markets - from farms with local food to Christmas. I am convinced that the stalls located in the alley, together with the lighting on the trees, would be able to create a magical Christmas atmosphere behind the scenes of a major monument and would certainly attract visitors from a great distance. In the project, I address the granary and sheepfold buildings in more detail. The former granary will provide new accommodation for 66 people and a beer spa, and the former sheepfold will be a multifunctional hall suitable for exhibitions, training, concerts and weddings. These buildings are located in the back of the area, and this location ensures privacy at events and at the same time should not be disturbed by tourists.

The Essence of Performance
Martinek, Filip ; Havlík, Vladimír (referee) ; Ruller, Tomáš (advisor)
Openness to a specific experience of being and the possibility of achieving relative perfection at the maximum horizon is essential, as is the subsequent move beyond this horizon, that is to say the fulfillment of its potential at its maximum level, culminating in the performative act. This leads us to a link that is the confirmation of authenticity, the reality of presence. Such presence is then autotelic. Potential, updated as such, is in its presentation deprived of hedonistic selfishness.

Instructions
Kopčil, Tomáš ; Havlík, Vladimír (referee) ; Ruller, Tomáš (advisor)
In my work I deal with how to do things. Instructional videos, printed paper instructions for using the product or performing an artistic event - all serve only as a platform for self-realization. The condition in the approach is not strictly following the established procedures. Rather, it is about reassessing what is essential at the moment.
Twenty-Tewnty-Eight
Hodulíková, Diana ; Marková,, Blanka (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
Programme by the European Union, the European Capital of Culture (ECOC), is an occasion to host a year-round cultural festival and a possibility to transform the city. The scope and format of the event are a unique opportunity to accelerate development and articulate the fundamental shortcomings of the environment. Brno has applied for this title for 2028. The first half of 2022 is at the beginning of its preparations for the first round. The candidacy is an opportunity for the city to network with diversified stakeholders and realize the values of local heritage based on multiethnic and specific history. Brno can innovate itself socially, economically, urban and sustainably within the candidacy, The thesis deals with the innovation potential of the city of Brno based on a sustainable approach to its heritage, inspired by six cases of cities that applied for the ECOC: Štýrský Hradec, Genoa, Ostrava, Vratislav, Paphos and Trenčín. The individual selected examples represent different approaches to candidacy, thus reflecting diversified processes and results. Although many of them have succeeded in transforming their identity, addressing complicated history or signing up on the map of Europe thanks to the ECOC, they are evaluated not only through a utopian perspective but rather as a reflection of the positive and negative changes caused by the ECOC candidacy. Inspiration from examples from abroad is prescribed in the strategic diagrammatic design of the urban solution of possible future sustainable development of the city of Brno through the candidacy for the ECOC based on the heritage-led approach in the last chapter. In conclusion, however, it should be noted that the ECOC is a unique opportunity for the city of Brno to obtain positive acceleration effects. However, it can quickly become a development pitfall accompanied by destructive side effects.

Gymnasium Dolní Kounice
Pavliš, Michael ; Teplý, Vladimír (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design newly-built gymnasium in Dolní Kounice. The project follows on from the architectural study, elaborated in the third year of the subject AG035 - "Architectural design 5", and develops AG036 - "Complex Project" of the fourth year. It also includes the result of the work of the subject AG028 - "Detail in architecture 2". The task of the work was to process design documentation for building permission and design documentation for execution of work using CAD systems. The gymnasium building itself is a single-storey building buried below ground level, so it does not create an excessive barrier for local wine cellars located next to the plot. The building is affiliated with the local primary school with a possible use for the general public, both for sport and social city events. In the building there is a hall meeting requirements for playing national handball, small hall and a universal room. The construction also includes 60 metres long running track with broad jump, outdoor kindergarten, playground with synthetic surface and open-air cinema. The building is connected to the school through an underground tunnel. Walkable roofs are available to local winemakers, their customers and also to the public.
