Design of a stent shaping unit
Václavek, Marek ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to create a design of a single-purpose machine used to shape thin plastic tubes with the use of thermal processes. The thesis first focuses on research of industrial robots, which will be used as a basis for the selection of handling equipment performing key tasks within the machine. Based on the results of a multicriteria selection method, the selected industrial robot model is Epson VT6L. The following manufacturing processes were proposed according to the analysis of the reuirements: heating with the use of heating cartridges, cooling with water-cooled clamps and chilling in a refrigeration chamber with conveyors. The proposed techniques were formulated into a detailed design solution. A simulation of the robotic tasks was conducted in order to verify the trajectories of the robot and to estimate the cycle time of machine. The machine was assessed from the aspect of work safety and measures were proposed for selected sources of hazards.
Robotic grinding welds
Nohavica, Radek ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is dealing on the grinding as a finishing method of the machining. The aim of the thesis is to describe current solution for robotic grinding. It focuses on the robotics as a whole while it presents a brief overwiev of its bases. In the thesis is first intriduced the method of the robotic grinding and the following part of the thesis is dealing with the offline applications to program the robots which are suitable for the machining.
The modernization of CNC system of milling machine EMCO
Kučera, Vítězslav ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bradáč, František (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the modernization of the EMCO milling machine control system. The theoretical part is focused on the basic description of CNC machine and current state of EMCO milling machine control system. The main point of this thesis is new control system design for given milling machine, when the proposed variants are described and compared according to construction and price. The one variant is selected that best suits the specified parameters. Also, in the TwinCAT development interface from Beckhoff the new control system is created and described in the end of this work.
Testing technology on-the-fly instrument LaserTRACER
Vala, Michal ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes realization and testing on-the-fly measurement using tracking interferometer. This measurement enables to achieve higher amount of measured points and decrease time of machine tool calibration. Calibration and verification values of machine parameters, as well as time of measurement and other details of this method are compared with results of conventional method called trigger. To evaluate the quality of volumetric compensation created from calibration values, we use verification measurement of circular interpolation.
Robot for Machine tool tending
Strach, Petr ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design a robotic cell solution for machine tool operators. The introduction describes the current situation and examples of solutions directly from practice. The following are the different types of workplace layouts, where one solution was chosen, which was further analyzed in more detail. Furthermore, the work includes the selection of the robot, gripper, workplace safety. The aim of this work is also a 3D model of a cell and its simulation model in RobotStudio from ABB. The function of programming and verification of collision-free operation is verified in the simulation.
Design of special extruder for 3D printing
Maňák, Juraj ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the design of a print head for 3D printing of cement mixtures. The work discusses current 3D concrete printing technologies, concrete transport options, and the properties of concrete mixes and admixtures. Next, three conceptual printhead solutions and two shaft bearings are proposed. Using multi-criteria analysis, the resulting variant is selected and it is structurally processed. The designed printhead allows continuous printing and mixing of the cement mixture and admixture of the setting accelerator.
Design and implementation of a test application for measuring dimensions with an optical sensor and a robotic arm
Zagorská, Kateřina ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creation of a measuring application using optical sensor and robotic arm in the RobotStudio software. The literature review of the thesis describes the field of optical measuring and calibration. Furthermore, the thesis includes the process of creating a measuring application and outlining issue of calibration of individual parts. The work is supplemented by a demonstration of repeatability measurements and a description of possible errors that may occur if the robot is set incorrectly.
Virtual model of part of cutting machine in ADAMS
Juriga, Jakub ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
In theoretical part, this master´s thesis deals with vibrations in cutting machine and description of creation of self-excited vibrations theory. In practical part, there is problem of chatter in cutting machine solved with using simulation program Adams and computing program MATLAB. Gradually, Multi body system of cutting machine and model of cutting tool with features flexible body are analyzed. At the end all both models were used to create complex model of the cutting machine .
Application of industrial robots in 3D print
Krůpa, Jiří ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the application of industrial robots in 3D printing, especially FDM technology. The introductory part of the thesis describes the basic types of additive technologies usable for robotic 3D printing. The next chapter describes some unconventional methods of 3D printing, using more than three degrees of freedom. The work also presents a comparison of conventional 3D printers with robotic manipulators and an assessment of the suitability of robots for 3D printing. At the end of the work are the necessary hardware and software peripherals for the modification of the robotic workstation for printing FDM technology. The ABB Robotstudio program was chosen as the software peripheral for the work example, and the procedure for creating the control code is described in the relevant chapter. This work also contains the design of printinghead for FDM technology.
Virtual commissioning of production system
Bražina, Jakub ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with virtual commissioning of production system which is located in the laboratories of the Institute of Production Machines, Systems and Robotics at the BUT. The issue of virtual commissioning is described in the theoretical part of the thesis, followed by a description of each device located in this production system. The design of the 3D model, the design of the PLC control program and also the virtual commissioning itself are described in the practical part of the thesis. There is the creation of the robot‘s program described at the end of the thesis.
