Impact of the Application of the Quality Management Systems on the Satisfaction of the Students of Secondary Vocational Schools

The subject of the dissertation is the issue of school quality, resp. quality management systems used by secondary vocational schools in the Czech Republic. The use of these customer-oriented quality management systems is common abroad, in some countries even mandatory. According to the available information, these systems are not widely used in the Czech Republic, their use in the education sector is not registered. The aim of the work was to evaluate and compare the impact of the most frequently used systems (self- assessment framework CAF, EFQM and ISO standards: 9001) on the student's satisfaction and their attitudes to school. An experimental, exploratory and ex-post-factual study was carried out in 2020 using a standardized questionnaire developed by the Institute for Pedagogy and Adult Education at Leibniz Universität Hannover. The questionnaire has been used since 2011 to assess student's satisfaction and the quality of vocational secondary schools in Lower Saxony. Specifics of Leadership in Schools of Arts

This bachelor thesis deals with styles of leadership and motivation to work with a focus on Schools of Arts. The main aim of the thesis is to clarify what the most frequently used styles of leadership and methods of motivation to work used by Schools of Arts' directors are and what effect they have on their teachers. The first part of the thesis presents a general theoretical basis for the topics of leadership, styles of leadership, motivation, delegation and communication. This part also defines the concept of Schools of Arts, its Director and Teachers. The second part describes the preparation and process of empirical research through a questionnaire which was sent to all of 504 Schools of Arts in the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the answers from the questionnaires are presented in graphs in this part and the collected data are interpreted. The above research results confirm the assumptions about the most commonly used styles of leadership and motivation to work in Schools of Arts. Influencing of the working environment and conflict management

Thesis is focused on management of conflicts which could arise work environment. Theoretical part of thesis is centered around social and psychological apects of work interactions, its significance and influence on work performance, sums up undesirable phenomena at workspace. Last chapter is about conflicts and their solutions. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on the current climate in the selected organization. It investigates how the selected organization has so far solved the social behavior of its employees in the workplace. Above all, it focuses on conflicts and their influence on the working relationships that prevail in the chosen company, using of quantitative survey (semi-structured interviews and questionnaires). From the analysis of the obtained results, will be proposed an educational seminar as a feedback for the organization.
EDUCATION OF TEACHERS IN SELECTED COUNTRIES

This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of education of upper secondary teachers in chosen countries including the Czech Republic. Its objective is to analyse requirements for teachers' training, qualifications and continuing professional development. The thesis primarily looks into the organisation of the education system and governance, legislation and principals of upper secondary teachers' training in chosen countries. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first one specifies the environment of chosen countries using different criteria (the Czech Republic, England and Wales, Finland) and also the teachers' training, qualification and development dilemma in particular countries is detailed in this part. The countries involved are described in general (geographic location, political system, social, cultural and economic situation). The outline of the development and current situation of each society contributes to the understanding of particular systems of education. Educational needs analysis of teachers at selected elementary school

This diploma thesis, entitled "Analysis of the educational needs of teachers at a selected primary school", deals a priori with the educational needs of teachers at a selected primary school in Prague, which the student selected as the most suitable for their own research. The aim of the work was to identify and analyze the educational needs, if possible, of all teachers of the selected primary school, on the basis of which an adequate educational program will be determined, which will be mediated in full conclusion its pedagogical staff as a certain directive for the possible improvement of the process of further education of primary school pedagogical staff. Teachers can often encounter certain barriers in their pedagogical work, which stand between themselves and their further education. In connection with this fact, the work is focused on this issue. The issue of mediation, as an alternative way of resolving conflicts and disputes, is one of the current and important topics not only in social psychology, but also andragogy. In particular, conflicts in the workplace are a key topic in terms of corporate culture, development and education of employees, which is also the starting point of the submitted rigorous work. Therefore, further professional education of mediators working in companies as specialists dealing with the prevention and resolution of conflicts and disputes in the workplace is essential for a positive work climate, optimization of relationships in the workplace, work performance and motivation of employees. When designing the theoretical basis and the research problem within this rigorous work, it is possible to start mainly from andragogy, social psychology and human resource management.
