Leisure Time of Students of second Grade of Elementary school

The master thesis discusses ways of spending free time by children of secondary school and aims to examine the significant impact of appropriate action by the various educational agents. The work is divided into two parts. Theoretical and practical. The first part explains the concept of "free time" and emphasizes the impact of right influence at this time. Theoretical part concludes with chapters dedicated to the personality, development and availability of children in middle school age.The practical part contains the results of an empiric research,which was mainly used a combination of a questionnaire survey and data analysis. The research is divided into two thematic units. First, there are the results of data analysis that focus on question how kids of 8th grade see their leisure time. Experimental and educational reform school in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia

The diploma thesis focuses on the experimental and educational reform schools, that have been developed and operated in the 20th and 30th of the 20th century in Czechoslovakia. It shows the political situation in the newly formed Czechoslovakia, as weel as monitors the development of education after 1918. The core of this diploma thesis is in the reform efforts of selected experimental schools. It presents experimental work school in Holešovice, "Dům dětství" in Horní Krnsko and "Dětská farma" of Eduard Štroch. In this part of thesis were the educational devices and objectives of these experimental schools, the organization and progress of teaching described. It also focuses on the selected individuals who were participated in their creation. The thesis analyzes the reform effort, which was followed by reform educators in the 30th, mainly the reform attempt of Václav Příhoda and his unitary educational model.
Various approaches to education in adolescence

The bachelor thesis deals with the difference attitude to the parenting of teen-age students. The aim of the thesis is to find out differences in attitude to parental education of teen-age students during theirs growing up. The theoretical part defines basic terms like family and education. This part includes historical development of the parenting, dividing families by functionality and types of problem-burdened families. It focuses on the parenting styles of education. It also deals with emancipation from the family and current view of education. The empirical part is to find out the surveyed students' attitudes to the education. Subsequent Social Services for Young People Leaving Institutional Educational Care

This bachelor thesis deals with the risky period of time in the life of young people, who have lived a part, most, or even whole their lives in institutional care and they have to leave the environment of the institute. The most common reason for leaving the institute is dismissal upon reaching the age of majority. Young people are forced to leave often the only background they have ever known and either go back to their families, who usually had not expressed interest in them during their stay in the institutional facility, or try to become independent. They do not always leave the children's home and educational institutes equipped by sufficient social skills and abilities. This fact together with lack of information about possibilities of using subsequent social services may lead to their exclusion from society. The theoretical part explains the system and history of institutional education in the Czech Republic, describes problems these young people suffer from, the legislature concerning these issues and other topics. The practical part maps the range of social services that can be used by young adults in the area of the capital city of Prague, when they leave the institutional education.
Voluntary activity at the Department of Long - Teren care and Aftercare in the FN Motol

The work deals with the purpose of volunteering in hospitals. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes, in general terms, volunteering, its history and its legal framework. Last but not least, it deals with volunteering in the University Hospital in Motol. The practical part uses the method of standardized direct dialogues with seniors permanently living and taken care of in the medical institute, and it analyses the need of volunteering at the Aftercare Centre of the University Hospital in Motol. The work draws upon the experience of my own several-year long volunteering engagement at the Aftercare Centre of the University Hospital in Motol. The goal of this work is to explain and highlight the importance of volunteering in medical care centers and hospitals.
Drug prevention at secondary school

The bachelor thesis deals with drugs, their types and drug prevention. It includes the research conducted at several high schools. The aim of the research was to map drug abuse and sound out pupils' opinion on prevention programmes, which are carried out in schools. The work also embraces the interview with methodologist of socially pathological behaviour, which enabled insight into the problem from the expert's point of view.
Roma Child in the Educational Process

The thesis titled Roma child in the educational process aims to describe the specifics of Roma pupil in relation to his upbringing and education compared with children from the majority society. The first part deals with the history of Roma and its impact on the current situation of the Roma in society. The next section describes the education of Roma children in both families and at school, and try to identify possible barriers that prevent the successful integration of Roma children among their Czech peers. In conclusion, the practical part is disassembled own experience working with Romani pupil in confrontation with theoretical knowledge described in the first part.

Title: Error in the point of view of the French as a second foreign language in the lower secondary school context Author: Mgr. Tomáš Klinka Department: Department of Pedagogy Supervisor: Doc. PhDr. Marie Fenclová, CSc. Abstract: This thesis focuses on the subject of error in the context of Czech lower secondary school and second foreign language (L3) instruction. This work has three purposes: first, to complete the basic literature in this domain using the publications issued from the French speaking world of educational research that are not quoted in the Czech academic field. Second, to analyze how the elements that intervene in the pedagogical process treat the question of error, and third, using the conclusions obtained, to make explicit the problems which pose the present treatment of the question of error and to indicate the direction of a future research in this domain. So as to attain the first goal, we propose and comment the work of some French specialists in the field of educational science and their conclusions, mainly the typology of errors created by Astolfi. As for the second goal, our thesis provides an analysis of the official regulations concerning teaching and learning in the Czech Republic, exposes the mental representations of error with which both students and teachers...
