Localisation of Mobile Robot in the Environment
Urban, Daniel ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Veľas, Martin (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the problem of mobile robot localisation in the environment based on current 2D and 3D sensor data and previous records. Work is focused on detecting previously visited places by robot. The implemented system is suitable for loop detection, using the Gestalt 3D descriptors. The output of the system provides corresponding positions on which the robot was already located. The functionality of the system has been tested and evaluated on LiDAR data.
Coevolutionary Algorithms Statistical Analysis Tool
Urban, Daniel ; Zachariášová, Marcela (referee) ; Drahošová, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains a theoretical basis that introduces evolutionary algorithms, genetic programming, coevolutioanary algorithms and methods for statistical evaluation. Furthermore, this work deals with the design and implementation of tool with graphical user interface, which allows the analysis of coevolutioanary algorithm for various parameters and also its statistical evaluation. The functionality of the implemented tool has been tested on data obtained from an external program performing evolutionary design of image filters with the use of the coevolution of tness predictors. The resulting graphs and statistics allow easy comparison of the progress and results for each program run.
Contract for construction
Urban, Daniel ; Zvára, Michael (referee)
Contract for construction Abstract The topic of this thesis is the contract for construction as one of the legal instruments leading to the establishment or change of units in a condominium. The contract for construction is closely related to the concepts of units and condominium ownership, when its use in another legal framework is not possible. This thesis focuses on the legal instrument at a time of resolution of the housing crisis and therefore examines not only theoretical issues, such as the definition of forms of construction, but also practical aspects of the contract, including, for example, the appropriate application of the provisions of the Partnership. The purpose is, among other things, to provide a view on the possibilities of using the contract for construction precisely as part of the solution to the social problem. The issues raised in this thesis are examined from the perspective of the subject matter of the contract for construction, the status of the contracting parties and the content of the contractual obligation. The critical view on the enforced combination of the current legal regulation with the historical regulation of the Appartement Ownership Act is not left aside. An essential part of the interpretation is also the extension, annex and construction alteration of the unit as...
The rise of African American radicalism and the fall of the African American-Jewish coalition in the United States
Urban, Daniel ; Calda, Miloš (advisor) ; Ulmanová, Hana (referee)
This work aims at examining the origins of the civil rights coaiition between African Americans and American Jews, its achievements and its fall following the rise of radicalism among African Americans and other historical developments in the late 1960s. It is clear that the abolition of slavery alone did not bring about social, economic and political integration of African Americans. Black codes and unwritten discriminatory customs prevented them from securing their rightful and equal place among white Americans. In order to fight racism and discrimination and support integration more effectively, African Americans started to organize in a number of organizations including the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA). However, because they lacked leadership, funding as well as organizational skills, they needed an ally and American Jews proved to be a dexterous one. There were a number of things that African Americans and Jews shared at that time: no ne of the two ethnic groups had a homeland in the sense that for example Italian Americans did before World War II. African Americans recognized and understood the fact that Jews had been living in poor conditions and under a constant threat to their lives in Europe. Furthermore,...
Amendment of Statement of Claim
Urban, Daniel ; Dvořák, Bohumil (advisor) ; Holčapek, Tomáš (referee)
Amendment of Statement of Claim Abstract The topic of this thesis is the amendment of the statement of claim, which is one of acts the plaintiff may do at civil judicial proceedings to modify the merits being tried in court. Based on the theoretical, doctrinal and practical knowledge, including case law, the amendment of the statement of claim is looked into in relation to civil contentious proceedings. The amendment of the statement of claim is one of the fundamental legal institutes of the civil procedure and is inherently connected with the principle of delimitation of the subject-matter of a case, the principle to try, and also with the actual merits of the case. It gives the plaintiff a chance to alter the merits in the course of the trial and to modify what is sought by the plaintiff in court. In this important era of upcoming recodification of the Czech civil procedure, this thesis addresses the essential issue of whether the present legal regulation of the amendment of statement of claim, in legislation called "amendment of the petition", is satisfactory or whether the amendment of the statement of the claim is the legal institute awaiting the recodification with a hope for its better legal regulation in the future. This issue is analysed in the thesis especially as for the admissibility of the...

Systems approach to agile methodologies of software development
Urban, Daniel ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused to researching agile methodologies of software development using a systems approach. This thesis has two main objectives. The first objective is the description and analysis of agile methodologies using a systems approach with respect to the project conducted in this thesis. The second and primary objective is selection of the appropriate agile methodology for student's project in a bank institution following analysis methodologies within which the application is developed for the needs of the Human Resources Department. Partial objective of this to compare the current approach applied to the development of the result of the selection of methodologies.
