To achieve this goal, the method of content analysis of postcards from information centres in the area and the method of semi-structured interviews with the representatives of the municipalities located near the military training area were employed. The research indicates that municipalities with lower tourism intensity perceive the presence of tourists more due to the accessibility of the Boletice Military Training Area. The limited depiction of Boletice on postcards signifies its lesser significance compared to the surroundings tourist areas.
