Gastrointestinální paraziti a střevní mikrobiom jako ukazatelé zhodnocení dopadů přikrmování veřejností na populaci sysla obecného.
TESAŘOVÁ, Šárka
This work focuses on gut bacterial microbiome of an endangered species, European ground squirrel (EGS), which occurs in the Czech Republic only in relict fragmented populations of a disappearing tendency. It provides an initial insight into the structure and diversity of the gut microbiome of EGS and its intestinal parasites present in faeces. Basic features of the gut microbiomes of EGS differing in food resources (natural vs. artificially fed) were also compared. The results of the analyses showed that the gut microbiomes at the studied localities have a similar structure and diversity, and that they do not differ based on the presence of detected parasites. Methods of classical parasitology together with modern methods of molecular biology, and bioinformatic analyses were used to fulfill the aims of the study. The obtained results may be important for the protection of this endangered species.
Kokcidie u myší domácích (\kur{Mus musculus}): detekce, diverzita, distribuce, prevalence a fylogenetické vztahy
TESAŘOVÁ, Šárka
This study investigates coccidia of the family Eimeriidae in DNA samples isolated from the faeces of domestic mice (Mus musculus) using molecular biology approaches in combination with computer software analyses. The study concerns the prevalence of coccidia in these rodent hosts, and phylogenetic relationships of individual Eimeria species detected in M. musculus.
Changes in everyday life, in connection with changes of military airport "Korea"
Kovanda, Damián ; Grygar, Jakub (advisor) ; Tesařová, Šárka (referee)
1 Annotation: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out, how has changed the daily life of the former employees of the Žatec military airport, called "Korea". Research of everyday life, which I cocnlude during this work, arise from theoretical concepts of phenomenological sociology, presented by Alfred Schütz. I examine everyday life in this region through extension of this concept by elements of material culture, colective memory and social identity. Everyday life changes are observed through interview with informants, but also through analysis of Žatec weekly press. NATO enlargement to Western Balkans and its strategic importance
Tesařová, Šárka ; Karásek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Karmazin, Aleš (referee)
This Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the development of the integration of Albania and Croatia into NATO structures. The first part describes the NATO open door policy along with the accession criteria and accession process. The key part is the analysis of whether and how the candidate states have fulfilled the established accession criteria based on the criteria of the NATO Enlargement Study, focusing in particular on selected factors - national political situation, public opinion, defence expenditure, professionalism, interoperability, diplomatic relations and cooperation with NATO, involvement in missions and relations with neighbouring states. It also examines the strategic interests of NATO in the Western Balkan region, and NATO may have been motivated by an attempt to strengthen its position in the Balkans. The outcome of the thesis is the assessment of the preparedness of the individual candidate states, where neither Albania nor Croatia fully met the accession criteria and the final decision of NATO was therefore more based on political judgment and strategy in the Balkans.
International interventions - the cause of suicide terrorism?
Tesařová, Šárka ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Ditrych, Ondřej (referee)
This diploma thesis aims to explore whether international intervention can be the main cause of suicide terrorism. To determine this causal relation between suicide terrorism and international intervention, it tests Robert Pape's nationalist theory. The research sample of the cases of Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, and Palestine was selected based on the Suicide Terrorism Attack database. The thesis applies the empirical-analytical methodology and the method of multiple case study to confirm or refute the validity of the research hypotheses. The outcome of the thesis is that the main trigger for a suicide terrorist campaign is a significantly stronger adversary, a social climate conducive to self- sacrifice, and an individual sense of hopelessness. The presence of international intervention fulfils all these features, but the theory has its limits - an exclusive focus on foreign intervention and state centrality.
