Synthesis of thiazolidine derivatives as potential drugs
Makovská, Kateřina ; Kučerová, Marta (advisor) ; Zitko, Jan (referee)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis Title of diploma thesis: Synthesis of thiazolidine derivatives as potential drugs Student: Kateřina Makovská Supervisor: PharmDr. Marta Kučerová, Ph.D. The theoretical part was focused on the literature research on the biological activity of derivatives 2-thioxothiazolidine-4-one (rhodanine) and its oxygen isostere thiazoli- dine-2,4-dione. There was mainly the antibacterial, antimycobacterial, and antifungal activity of variously substituted rhodanine and thiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives repor- ted. These derivatives seem to be suitable candidates for the development of new drugs Within the experimental part, an in silico study on molecular docking of a larger series of rhodanine and thiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives prepared in this work and earlier was performed with MurD ligase of E. coli as a potential bacterial target. On the whole, seventeen syntheses were performed in the laboratory using the Kno- evenagel condensation of thiazolidine-2,4-dione or rhodanine with various aldehydes, nine reactions with the aim to obtain thiazolidine-2,4-dione derivatives and eight reacti- ons withe the goal to get rhodanine derivatives. Eleven reactions afforded successfully six...
Thinking about a human body which is difficult to acquire Hybrid [Artificial] Autofiction

There is no one in the cave who can die. Let me put that different ly. No one has ever been born and no one has ever died. From this statement, the question arises whether this purely theoretical sta tement can help us in the situation we are in right now. We have to answer the question of whether there is or has been a world without us on the basis of direct embodied experience. I start from the assumption that recognizing oneself as a person can be one of the strangest acts ever. Being attentive and fully present in the space of a given medium is not a choice but a necessity, as well as a positive consequence of the environment in which we are immersed. This means thinking into the body of another world. In this artresearch project, I primarily focus on the research of embodied experience and analysis of morethanhuman forces and actions in the Atlantic Ocean. Through direct embodiment (embodied and situated practice), this work explores at various levels the permeable – seeping boundaries between man and nature. I describe how individual activities are experienced in a sensory way and how this directly embodied knowledge is used in the research (embodied, performative, research and pedagogical) practice itself. Through this artresearch work, I would like to experiment beyond analytical and grammatical description and expand my research towards poetic, aesthetic and creative gestures that express the power and complexity of the elements.
Návrh zařízení pro manipulaci s plastovými blistry
HAKLOVÁ, Lenka
The thesis deals with the description and design of conceptual variants of transporta-tion equipment for handling plastic trays. The equipment's task is to transport and remove plastic trays from a stack, transport them to the filling position, and stack them back into full stacks. Before elaboration, it is necessary to explain and describe the principle of operation of this specific equipment commonly referred to as a "tray-server". Within the device design, it was necessary to take into account the current state and create concepts for updating. Several solution variants were created, followed by a comparison of their technical properties using a comparative method. The winning variant was developed further, and basic strength analysis was conduc-ted.
Life
Maliňáková, Kamila ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Mikyta, Svätopluk (advisor)
My bachelor´s thesis is called Life. My original intention was to paint a monumental, perfect picture, triptych of good, evil and something in between. Something like an altar of 2014 according to the model of the old masters. But at the beginning of my work there were a lot of doubts about my painting. It became more and more fabricated, which was confirmed by my teachers too. And therefore I decided to reassess my work and I found out, that more interesting than original painting is a backstage of my painting, the things, that hapeend around. And this is now a topic of my bachelor´s thesis - Backstage of my painting.
No Particular Title

The topic of my work is space and its influence on our perception. I am interested in how this perception changes during time. I create small interventions that can remain overlooked as through they are on visible sites. The choice of particular interventions is based on my subjective experience with the location - which in this work is the building of our school. With my interventions, I intend to intensify the spectators consciousness of space and time - „here and now“ - and the complex perception the environment. Using photographic record, reflections on variuos surfaces, and point of view, I work with time and space. The main question for me was whether is there a way to „catch“ a moment and project it back into his site.
Simple converter for three-phase asynchronous motor 100 W
Pilch, Tomáš ; Kadlec, Josef (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to propose a optimalization of an already implemented three-phase frequency converter to the higher electric output, using a different chopper circuit. Teoreticaly is possible to drive an asynchronous motor with power up to 2 kW.
Šobov - multicultural community center
Nácarová, Barbora ; Kyselka, Mojmír (referee) ; Mléčka, Jan (advisor)
We are bound to live with the Roma, but how… The aim of this study is to create a new concept of the environment as an alternative to the current general plan. In the latest urban plan of the town of Banska Stiavnica, the district of Sobov is designed as a recreation zone. However the plan doesn’t tackle the issue of the ethnical minority. This scheme is based on the simple principle of the interconnection of two key topics: the sustainable development in the prevention of social exclusion and the preservation of the environment. On the one hand, it resumes the continuity of resettlement of Sobov, creating a community feeling and the esteem of one´s home in the inhabitants, on the other hand it provides basic information about the district, life of the Roma and their work to the visitors and also offers an appropriate recreation facility. The majority will have to live side by side with the minority and this provides a chance for better housing to the socially challenged citizens in exchange for their participation on the development. The technical solution considers low-cost tower blocks emphasizing the lifestyle and problems of the Roma people using traditional materials, technologies, unqualified labour and also the already existing boreholes to obtain energy with thermal pumps.
Construction of equipment for thin walled L-profiles instability testing
Polčák, Marek ; Vaněk, František (referee) ; Horák, Marek (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with the loss of stability of axially loaded thin-walled aluminium profi-les, which make up an important part in the aircraft structures. The loss of their stability is tes-ted by the compression test, which is used to determine the buckling load. Compression test may be influenced by many factors, which are related to the fixing to the testing machine. The aim of the thesis is to design a fixture, which would fix a specimen to the testing machine and improve the results of the test.
HOUSE ON THE EDGE – Valašské Meziříčí, Sokolská Street
Hroudná, Eva ; Holiš, Hynek (referee) ; Mikulášek, David (advisor)
The subject of bachelor work was to resolve the problematic parcel near the center of town, where there is a car parking now. The proposed functions of the house based on the needs of the city, it is mostly housing, parking, shopping and relaxation.
Support for Jenkins Plugin Development in Python Language
Bambas, Tomáš ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Müller, Petr (advisor)
Jenkins CI, the continuous integration server, enables to extend its functionality by plug-ins. These plug-ins can be written in Java and Ruby. The support for Python language is missing although it is one of the most popular programming languages. Therefore we have implemented the SDK for Python plug-in development and this SDK has been integrated into the Jenkins CI community repository. The documentation for the plug-in development in Python has been also published. Thanks to that work, developers can now implement plug-ins in Python programming language.
