Quality Analysis of Electronic Dictionaries Transformation

The bachelor's thesis deals with electronic dictionaries, their formats and quality analysis of their conversions. The thesis describes Lexical Markup Framework format in detail. It also discusses the capabilities of advanced algorithms such as LSA for conversion quality analysis and the tools that can be used for the analysis. Based on this theoretical knowledge the scripts in Python language were created to analyze dictionaries in Lexical Markup Framework format.
Methods and Metrics For Software Usability Measurement

The master's thesis deals with the quality of software products focusing on usability of these products and methods of its measurement. The thesis resumes the definitions of quality from different sources and quality models according to available standards. It also describes usability in detail and methods and metrics for its measurement and analyses current situation in this field. In the thesis the tool for measuring usability of desktop software products was designed and implemented.

In my bachelor thesis Stress in a life of a child - relaxation techniques and a possible use of swimming pool therapy while coping with the stressful situation the child's life I am describing the problem with stress in a life of a child and the possibility how to solve the problem using relaxation techniques, particularly swimming pool therapy. In more detail I describe the stress in general, its component parts, the period of stress, stressful factors, which the most of the children and youth are facing up during their adolescence or which they might be facing up, but also stress, which is caused by traumatic experience. I have focused on the prevention of the stress of children and on the use of techniques, which help to cope with these situations. The practical part of my bachelor thesis is devoted to the introduction of the method called swimming pool therapy and to the confirmation or negation of the hypothesis, that the relaxation technique - the swimming pool therapy - has according to the internal opinion of their parents an impact on coping with stressful situation in a child's life, which I have gathered from the research (questionnaire). The result of the research I describe by the help of verbal evaluation and objective graphs.
Laboratory tests for thyroid function assessment from the economic point of view

In 2011 Recommendation for laboratory diagnostics of functional and autoimmune thyroid diseases was published. Its target is to recommend correct method when choosing thyroid examination parameters to general practitians and thus find a way how to save money on useless examinations which then can be used by hospital in other area. To verify physicians adhere to these recommendations file of VFN patients in Prague for year 2011 was used and statistically evaluated. Watched parameters included thyrotropin (TSH), free triiodothyronine (FT3), total triiodothyronine (T3), free thyroxine (FT4), total thyroxine (T4), thyroid peroxidase antibodies (anti - TPO), thyroglobulin antibodies (anti - Tg), thyroglobulin (Tg) and thyroxine - binding globulin (TBG). Basic test according to published recommendation should include only TSH and if out of reference limits then it should be followed by FT4 test or antidote assessment. Other parameters are unnecessary for initial examination, some of them are not used anymore or should be examined only by clinics specialized in endocrinology. Based on the file records many physicians are still ordering unnecessary examination parameters. Dealing with homelessness in the capital city of Prague - is current social service system enough to satisfy homeless people?

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of people without a regular dwelling in terms of social service administration in Prague. The theoretical part of the thesis consists of a general description of homelessness and explanation of the current model of provided services. It also mentions non-governmental organizations providing social care for the homeless in Prague and describes the help from the state administration. The next part explores 2 conceptions focused on tackling homelessness and discusses how they are currently met. It was also necessary to mention foreign experience of solving this problem. Interdisciplinary cooperation is an important chapter because homeless care is not only based on the provision of outpatient services, such as food, hygiene, clothing, or on the provision of residential services. Cooperation with other actors such as physicians (psychiatrists, dentists, gynecologists) is also necessary for the services to be provided comprehensively and to be able to respond to all the needs of the homeless. The research part maps the sufficiency of the services for the homeless people from their point of view and tries to find out what services they lack in Prague. Therefore it is also called the beer, wine, or baker's yeast. Their genome is fully studied, and thus are widely used genetic engineering. But there are also documented cases of pathogenesis. The yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae is one of the most interesting and widely used yeast.

The Social View of the Impact of Epilepsy on Adult

The thesis "The social view of the impact of epilepsy on adults" is focusing on the specification of psychosomatic factors that are influencing the life of an adult with epilepsy. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the theoretical part, the disease epilepsy, diagnostic, therapy and treatment are defined, a fit of epilepsy is classified, and moreover, the first aid during the epileptic fit is described. Another part of the thesis is dedicated to description of some areas of life of the adult with epilepsy, which are bringing certain limitations to everyday life. This includes the family life and also problematic of professional life and possible job restrictions. These areas are described with regards to influences of lifestyle, medication, sleeping habits and leisure time activities on the life of a person with epilepsy. The thesis also focus on the problematic of social stigmatization, social isolation and on the list of possible psychological changes and cognitive problems of people with epilepsy, that occurs as a result of this diagnosis.
