Centralized multirobot system
Staněk, Ondřej ; Obdržálek, David (advisor) ; Mráz, František (referee)
Title: Centralized multirobot system Author: Ondřej Staněk Department: The Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: RNDr. David Obdržálek Supervisor's e-mail address: David.Obdrzalek@mff.cuni.cz This thesis focuses on design and implementation of a centralized multi-robot system. A host computer (or cellphone) controls several tiny PocketBot2 mobile robots. These robots feature various sensors. They can perform line-following and they are equipped with a system for detecting obstacles and other robots. Although the PocketBot2 robots were designed and built within the frame of this thesis, the core of the thesis itself lies in the software. For the PocketBot2 hardware, an embedded control system was designed and implemented. It interfaces robot's sensors and carries out basic movement commands. Bluetooth technology is used for wireless data transfer between robots and the host. In the host, a multi-platform control library was implemented. It provides access to sensors of individual robots and controls their movement. The library ensures convenient interface for implementing centralized multi-robot algorithms. Construction and characterization of recombinant adenylate cyclase toxoid of bacterium Bordetella pertussis carrying mycobacterial antigen TB7.7
Mikulecký, Pavel ; Vopálenský, Václav (referee) ; Staněk, Ondřej (advisor)
Bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis is an etiological agent of a deadly disease called tuberculosis that presents a global problem. According to The World Health Organization there are more than 2 billions people infected with latent tuberculosis all over the world. There is still need of specific, sensitive, quick and economic available method for identification of infected individuals. Currently in vitro blood tests are considered to be the best way of diagnosis. They are based on restimulation of specific T lymphocytes by mycobacterial antigens derived from virulent strains. There are several different approaches for enhancing of direct antigen delivery into antigen presenting cells and promising one is a genetically detoxified adenylate cyclase toxin (CyaA) of bacteria Bordetella pertussis. The main aim of the thesis includes construction and subsequent characterization of biological properties of CyaA protein carrying specific mycobacterial antigen TB7.7 in translocating domain. Here is shown that fusion protein CyaA-TB7.7 can form cation selective pores in target cell membranes and is able to deliver antigens into the cytosol of APC to be presented on surface with molecules MHC class II. Genetically detoxified CyaA- TB7.7 protein will be used to supplement current approaches such as also in vitro...
Historical and present anthropogenic gradients in landscape
Staněk, Ondřej ; Klinerová, Tereza (referee) ; Vojta, Jaroslav (advisor)
My bachelor thesis is concerned in determining and classification of main anthropogenic influences in various ecosystems. Intensity and direction of landscape transformations such as nutrient income, terrain changes, disturbance, biomass removal or fragmentation is discussed and evaluated. Other landscape factors taking part in ecosystem endurance like different structure and pH of soils or various microclimatic conditions are also taken in notice. It seems that intensity of human influence varies depending on it's nature and it is difficult to propose a linear scale of these changes. From this point of view German hemeroby concept is discussed as possibly suitable scale of human influence. Visual Programming Backend for a Mobile Robot
Staněk, Ondřej ; Obdržálek, David (advisor) ; Bednárek, David (referee)
Title: Visual Programming Backend for a Mobile Robot Author: Bc. Ondřej Staněk Department: The Department of Software Engineering Supervisor: RNDr. David Obdržálek, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: David.Obdrzalek@mff.cuni.cz Abstract: In this work, the author designs and implements a solution for programming small mobile robots using a visual programming language. A suitable visual programming front-end is selected and back-end layers are created that allow execution of the program in a mobile robot. The author designs and implements a virtual machine that runs alongside the original robot firmware on an 8-bit microcontroller with limited resources. A code generator layer compiles the visual representation of the program into a sequence of bytecode instructions that is interpreted on board of the mobile robot. The solution supports typical features of procedural programming languages, in particular: variables, expressions, conditional statements, loops, static arrays, function calls and recursion. The emphasis is put on robustness of the implementation. To verify and maintain code quality, methods of automated software testing are used. Evaluation of Bank Client's Creditworthiness
Staněk, Ondřej ; Čáp, Daniel (referee) ; Sághy Estélyi, Kristína (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the bank client´s creditworthiness for the purpose of loan financing and to formulate some proposals for its improvement. Some methods of financial and non-financial company analysis applied in banking practice are shown there. The proposals to ensure debt service are formulated on the basis of the results of analyzes.
