Nanolubricants for practical applications
Sochor, Ondřej ; Frýza, Josef (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is concerned with describing nanolubricants and enhancing their characteristics using suitable additives, such as nanoparticles. These can improve their tribological properties and reduce mechanical wear and friction between two surfaces. This thesis summarizes manufacturing, some features and mechanisms that apply to nanoparticles and nanolubricants. The main outcome of the work is a synthesis of acquired knowledge in the field of nanolubricants for the purpose of practical application and description of current trends in its research as being used as additives.
Business Plan for Reconstructing Fitcenter Trinity and Build the Section Reserved for Women
Sochor, Ondřej ; Blahutková, Marie (referee) ; Hanušová, Helena (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on creating a business plan for reconstructing fitcenter Trinity and creating a new secton reserved for women. The theoretical part cointains facts regarding this business plan and also terms associated with fitness. The thesis also contains all informations and analysis needed for completing the plan and choosing the marketing strategy. There are identified groups of customers based on discern of requirements and following business plan is build in case of structure recomended in theory part.
Impact of residual stresses and uncoiling of arterial specimen on its mechanical response
Sochor, Ondřej ; Lisický, Ondřej (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis examines the impact of residual stresses in the carotid artery wall and the influence of specimen uncoiling on its mechanical response. The introductory part provides basic knowledge about the anatomy and the pathology of blood vessels, as well as overview of common methods used for testing artery samples. The main body of the thesis is divided into two sections. The first section focuses on the impact of specimen uncoiling on its mechanical response during the equibiaxial tensile test. It begins by describing the method used for sample testing and the method used for obtaining material constants from the mechanical response. These constants are then used as input for FEM simulation of the uncoiling and subsequent equibiaxial tensile test simulation on idealized model of geometry. The mechanical behaviour of the uncoiled model is compared to behaviour of the stress-free planar model to determine the influence of uncoiling. In the second section, the influence of residual stresses in the artery wall on its mechanical response is explored. This section includes a description of two methods used to show residual stress release, which are then used for specimen testing. The experiments are used to evaluate input parameters per layer for the model of geometry and subsequent FEM analysis. By comparing results from three levels of modeling, the impact of residual stresses on the artery’s mechanical response is determined.

Key Account Management in the international organization AIESEC
Sochor, Ondřej ; Khelerová, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Turnerová, Lenka (referee)
The thesis compounds three views on the Key Account Management (KAM). Firstly, KAM is defined from a theoretical perspective. Secondly, a practical example of KAM is described within the international organization AIESEC; including feedback from a client. Finally, there are suggestions in order to improve KAM in terms of soft skills of Account Managers.
