Tato práce se zabývá vlivem zbytkových napětí ve stěně krční tepny a rozvinutí vzorku krční tepny na její mechanickou odezvu. V rámci rešerše jsou shrnuty poznatky z anatomie a patologie cév. Dále jsou zde popsány nejčastěji používané mechanické zkoušky cévní tkáně. Hlavní stať diplomové práce je rozdělena do dvou větších částí. První část se zabývá určením vlivu rozvinutí vzorku tepny na mechanickou odezvu během ekvibiaxiální tahové zkoušky rovinného vzorku. V úvodu je popsána metoda testování a postup pro určení materiálových konstant z naměřené odezvy. Dále je popsán postup modelování této zkoušky pomocí MKP pro idealizované modely tepny, kdy simulujeme rozvinutí vzorku do roviny a následný průběh zkoušky. Výsledky jsou porovnány se simulací zkoušky u beznapěťového rovinného modelu, čímž je vyhodnocen vliv rozvinutí na mechanickou odezvu. V druhé části, zabývající se vlivem zbytkových napětí ve stěně tepny, jsou popsány experimentální přístupy, kterými lze určit projevy zbytkových napětí, na základě nichž jsou provedeny experimenty. Vyhodnocením experimentů na dvou oddělených vrstvách stěny tepny jsou určeny vstupní parametry, které slouží pro vytvoření idealizovaných modelů geometrie pro MKP výpočet. Porovnáním výsledků z třech úrovní modelů geometrie je vyhodnocen vliv zbytkových napětí na mechanickou odezvu. This thesis examines the impact of residual stresses in the carotid artery wall and the influence of specimen uncoiling on its mechanical response. The introductory part provides basic knowledge about the anatomy and the pathology of blood vessels, as well as overview of common methods used for testing artery samples. The main body of the thesis is divided into two sections. The first section focuses on the impact of specimen uncoiling on its mechanical response during the equibiaxial tensile test. It begins by describing the method used for sample testing and the method used for obtaining material constants from the mechanical response. These constants are then used as input for FEM simulation of the uncoiling and subsequent equibiaxial tensile test simulation on idealized model of geometry. The mechanical behaviour of the uncoiled model is compared to behaviour of the stress-free planar model to determine the influence of uncoiling. In the second section, the influence of residual stresses in the artery wall on its mechanical response is explored. This section includes a description of two methods used to show residual stress release, which are then used for specimen testing. The experiments are used to evaluate input parameters per layer for the model of geometry and subsequent FEM analysis. By comparing results from three levels of modeling, the impact of residual stresses on the artery’s mechanical response is determined.
