Relation between Attachment and Dissociation
Nykl, Matěj ; Záplatová, Klára (advisor) ; Skřivánková, Petra (referee)
The topic of my bachelor thesis is the relation between attachment and disociation. In the theoretical part both concepts are examined with emphasy to link them to each other. The causes that lead to development of disorganized attachment are described from the perspective of integenerational transmission of trauma. The core of my work is based on empirical evidences linking attachment and dissociation. The studies that empiricaly identified this relation are presented together with theories interpreting these data. The work brings also practical therapeutical implications for the treatment of dissociative pacients. The empirical design elaborates the relation between attachment and dissociation among adult population using the Adult Attachment Inteview and Dissociative Experience Scale procedures. At the end of the literary-overview part there is a summary of selected researches dealing with the development of toddlers brought up by depressed mothers.
