The theoretical part surveys history, progress and shows the effort of all members of the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service. Crux of the thesis is an experiential part incurred on the base of quantitative research by the method of unstandardized questionnaire investigation. The main importance is placed on illustration of mutual cooperation and cooperation and seriousness in the care of patients. In the research investigation in the period March - April 2010 there 25 respondents-doctors and 25 respondents-rescuers working in Jihlava and Hradec Králové at Helicopter Emergency Service participated.

Quality of nursing care for intubated mechanically ventilated patients

This bachelor work deals with the quality of nursing care for intubated mechanically ventilated patients. The theoretical part of the work is divided into three parts. The first part is concentrated on the quality of nursing care and definitions, characteristics and dimensions of the quality are described here. The second part applies to the tracheal intubation and performance aids for tracheal intubation, working procedure, intubation complication and care for airways can be found here. The last part deals with mechanical lung ventilation (aims of ventilation, monitoring and care for intubated mechanically ventilated patients). The empiric part is focused on the quantitative research investigation by means of a questionnaire method whose main target is to compare the quality of nursing care for intubated mechanically ventilated patients at anaesthesiology and resuscitation depart-ments at local hospitals and at The Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation Clinic of Faculty Hospital in Hradec Kralove. Bachaleors thesis deals with complex care of clients with intestinal derivational stomies. In the exordium the theoretical knowledge to given questions is introduced, the empirical part was processed upon an identified and evaluated data of the realized research. The quality of care of multidisciplinar medical teams was monitored during attendance of clients with this kind of disorder. In subparameters the psychosocial support of clients with stomy was surveyed as well as the influence of restrictive factors incidental to their everyday life after stomy disposition.

This bachelor thesis deals with life quality of patient with peritoneal catheter. Several indicators for life quality evaluation were used: Family environment, possibility to be employed, travelling, hobbies, and own definition of the life quality. It is necessary to consider the patient's life before starting the dialysis treatmentand his personality The emphasis of this thesis is based upon survey which is based on qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews.The explored sample consisted of 6 diseased patients under PD program of various age, sex and duration of dialysis treatment.Empiric chapter is focused on problematic of life acceptance with peritoneal catheter in the area of disease cause, dialysation treatment, catheter manipulation, PD progression, and life quality evaluation. The life is limited also in the area of employment and travelling possibilities, by reason of the everyday exchanges.. The thesis also consists of exactly re-written talks with individual patients.
Quality of nursing care for patients with fracture of distal radius

The theoretical part is concentrating on describtion of quality of the health care, and also describes problems with injuries, mainly concentraiting on fractures of distal radius,diagnosis,therapy, and nursing aftercare. The main part of the project is qualitative research of patients, following operations on fractures of distal radius, presenting ten case studies. Five of the studies have concentrated on patients following operation with a method of internal osteosynthesis with LCP splint. The other five studies have been done on patients with an external fixation. The research compares total stay of the patient in hospital, the lenght of healing, and number of complications at certain days,which were observed in both groups of patients.(1st,2nd,5th,12th day, 3rd and 7th week, and 3rd and 6th moth).
General public awareness of organ donation

This work consists of the theoretical and the practical part. Historical aspects of human organ transplants are mentioned in the theoretical part. Management of organ harvesting and transplantation with relevant legislative issuees are described and full list of the transplant centers in the Czech republic is addend. Extensive ethical aspects of human organ transplants and religion attitude to organ donation are mentioned. Brain death is defined and described from the patophysiological point of view. In practical part, my work presents a general public opinion and awareness of human transplants and organ donations. In studied population, my work tried to find out a relationship between the educational level of the respondents and thein opinion and awareness of human transplants. In conclussion, some suggestions how to improve a general public education are mentioned.
Influence of Pulmonary Lobectomy on Activities of Daily Living

Key words: Activities of Daily Living, ADL, Pulmonary lobectomy Bachelor's thesis is concentred to the influence of pulmonary lobectomy to activities of daily living. The theoretical part brings up in general the pulmonary surgery and defines the individual activities of daily life necessary for the client's adequate reentry to ordinary life. The decision point of the thesis is composed by the quantitative analysis (questionnaire) about the influence of pulmonary lobectomy to activities of daily living in different time span. In aspires to map the severity of the clients to the complete self-sufficiency. The examined sample is formed by 38 informants who in the Pardubice Regional Hospital a.s. had to undergo the operation and were in nurse there.
The level of primary first aid knowledge among lay public

This bachelor's thesis "The Level of Primary First Aid Knowledge among Lay Public" examines the extent of primary first aid knowledge among non-medical lay public. The first section presents theories regarding disorders of the basic state of health as well as life-threatening and/or other sudden conditions. In addition it presents symptoms of these conditions and general first aid remediation which could be applied by lay, non-emergency people. Included is a chapter describing areas of cooperation between lay citizens and medical rescue services. The primary focus of this work is to report the results of empirical research conducted among a sampling of the lay public in Svitavy. Respondents were asked to complete a questionnaire which would determine both the extent of their knowledge of basic first aid and their willingness to learn more in this field in their free time. The aim of the survey is to map the extent of their knowledge and interest in becoming a more capble first aid provider.
The level of knowledges cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid of non medical hospital attendants

The theoretical part of my bachelors's thesis deals about developement of resuscitation procedures from the first written note to the present. I also describe most frequent acute conditions and CPR procedur by Guidelines 2005. The second, emipiric part is researching about level of knowledges of non medical hospital attendants. The questionary action was proceeding from 10. 12. 2008 to 12. 2. 2009 in Regional Hospital in Jičín. The research was realized by the form of an anonymous questionnaire survey. The respondents were non medical hospital attendants from 11 departments these hospital.
