Real-Time Wavelet Transform in Pure Data
Zemánek, Karel ; Schimmel, Jiří (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelors thesis considers of wavelet transform realization in the real-time in Pure Data. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical minimum of wavelet transform. The second part is devoted to program Pure Data itself. You can see simply patches and also instruction for external programs compact to PD. The third part is devoted to realization of wavelet transtorm in Pure Data program. It contain specific algorithm for wavelet transform calculation and description of exist program.
Parallelization of complex tasks in reconstruction of dynamic magnetic resonance
Bijotová, Kateřina ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Mašek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with parallelization of complex tasks in reconstruction of dynamic magnetic resonance. It describes the basic principle of magnetic resonance and its relation to Fourier transform. It deals with the difference between static and dynamic magnetic resonance image reconstruction. It analyzes SVD algorithm and its use in magnetic resonance image reconstruction. It presents the principles and the importance of parallel computing in magnetic resonance imaging and describes CUDA technology. The thesis also contains a description and execution of the implementation of the reconstruction model in MATLAB and Java programming language which were optimized by JCuda library for Java implementation and gpuArray function in case of MATLAB implementation.
Image dithering methods
Škvarenina, Ľubomír ; Zátyik, Ján (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis is concerned with the image dithering. The purpose of this report is to summarize common and latest methods of image dithering reduction including all its derivates. The important terms in close relation of this project are explained at the beginning of the report. In the next part of this bachelor’s thesis are mentioned all methods of screen dithering including all known algorythms related to these methods. This section of the report is more concerned with thresholding, random dithering and error diffusion. There are some of the methods programmed in MATLAB’s interactive environment for demonstration in ending of this paper. Then various methods are compared in terms of speed.
Decomposition of video-sequences into components with different dynamics
Gebrtová, Karolína ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the decomposition of video sequences, primarily on background and dynamic component separation, where the background remains the same and only small parts are in motion. Such a video is represented by a low-rank and sparse component. Thanks to the low-rank structure, the background can be separated using a median filter and dynamic mode decomposition. Furthermore, the robust principal component analysis, formulated as an optimization problem and its non-convex variant, will be employed. Also mentioned will be the multiresolution DMD, which is capable of decomposing the dynamic component based on its velocity.
Demonstrational programs for music record processing
Jonáš, Petr ; Rajmic, Pavel (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the processing of music records and signals. Demonstra- tion programs were created in Matlab. In this thesis were created function of equalization, transposition and sound effects. In this thesis was created application for determining the similarity of signals.
RAW image debayerization using deep neural network
Alternative JPEG image decoder
Bureš, Jiří ; Štarha, Pavel (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the JPEG image codec, edge detection in images, sparse signal representations and proximal algorithms. First, the operation of the JPEG encoder and decoder and the theory underlying it are described. Then, based on the theoretical knowledge, a new proximal algorithm is constructed and implemented in an existing JPEG algorithm in order to remove block relics in the decoded image. The programming side is solved in Matlab environment. The results are evaluated using MSE, PSNR and SSIM methods.
Increasing bit depth in audio signals
Mrázek, Tomáš ; Mokrý, Ondřej (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The task of this bachelor’s thesis is to get acquainted with basic and advanced dequantization methods. It describes basics of declipping with focus on method which uses social sparsity. From this method, an audio dequantization algorithm using social sparsity can be designed and implemented. The resulting program automatically quantize the original file to the required bit depth and then reconstruct it to the closest possible resemblance to the original.
