This diploma thesis deals with development of communicational skills in children with hearing impairments in preschool. In this case communication is considered to bean atribute of society and it alsosals with the basic of human communication. It presents hearing impairments, its classification and the posibilities of auditory prostheses. It dis scuses the development of human speech and the influence of hearing impairments on it, the possibilities of communication and education of children with hearing impairments. It al so deals with the importace of preschooleducation, and mainparts of rehabilitation in kindergarten (Holečkova street, Prague). There search answers, if this kindergarten possitivelyaffects the development of children's socialskills . And also how importantisthe size of hearingloss and the family background for the communnication development.
Communication Problems of Deaf People in the field of Health Care

This bachelor's thesis deals with the communication problems of deaf people in health care institutions. The aim is to map the most common problems the deaf have when communicating with personnel in health care institutions in this area. The theoretical part of the bachelor's thesis deals with the classification of hearing impairments, communication methods of the deaf, the role of sign language interpreters, as well as patient's rights. The practical part is based on a questionnaire survey of deaf people and analyses the most common problems of the deaf in health care institutions
Technical aspects of cochlear implants in people with severe hearing impairment

The objective of this work is to specify the technical aspects of cochlear implants in relationship to their impact on their users. The main contribution of this work is that through the description of individual parts of an implant and of the substance of its operation it draws attention to the impact of its usage on the user themselves. Simultaneously, by describing the current news in the area of cochlear implants it draws attention to the continuous development of this neuroprotheses and its elements. The bachelor's thesis is aimed at the division of individual parts of the cochlear implant and their technical specifications. In the thesis the core of the sound transmission and the operation of the implant and its adjusting are described. The attention is paid to the selection of the users of cochlear implants and approach of the community of the deaf people to this compensation aid. Limitations in the cochlear implant users form another part of this work. The individual theoretical pieces of information are interspersed with testimonies of the users themselves who express their attitudes and experience in individual areas of everyday life. Bachelor thesis is concerned with formation of the first institutions of special education in our country, legislation of the education in past and at present and with historical development of the institutions for mentally disable people. The thesis is devided into four parts. The first chapter is concerned with stages of the attitude to disable people. The second part describes history and the founding of the school for special education in Bohemia and Moravia. The third part is devided into two chapters. The first part deals with law education from 1774 to 1989. The second part describes current law education and regulations. Integrated education for pupils with special educational needs - casuistic

This bachelor's thesis focuses on integration of pupils with learning disabilities into regular elementary schools. The theoretical part focuses on learning disability - mental retardation, ADHD - attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and education of pupils with learning disabilities. A case study of 13-year-old boy with mental handicap, ADHD and behavioral problems demonstrates the characteristic features of the integration process in the main stream elementary school. It shows the potential as well as limits of inclusive education. Analysis of this case demonstrates the direct dependence of the successful integration on the professional as well as human qualities of teachers.
Integrated Education of a Pupil with Special educational needs - Case Study

The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current situation in integrated educating of a pupil with special educational needs, or more specifically, of a child with high functioning autism combined with practical deafness. Through analysis of specialised literature, the theoretical part defines the expression integration; other definitions include hearing disability and autism as the causes limiting the pupil's inclusion in educating in a mainstream elementary school. The practical part of the thesis includes a case study - description of the pupil's case. Experience is described from the current integrated education in a special elementary school where the pupil is educated according to the Framework Educational Program for Elementary Schools, with the prospective of upcoming re-integration into the mainstream elementary school, or, as the case may be, depending on the parents' decision, his integration in an elementary school for hearing impaired children. In drawing up the case study, the following methods were applied: observation and analysis of the pupil's educational products.

Music Therapy and Children with Autism Abstract The thesis entitled Music Therapy and Children with Autism deals with the characteristics of childhood autism and introduces music therapy as one of the possible forms of therapies, by means of which the development of children with autism can be positively influenced. The objective of the thesis is to record and organize theoretical knowledge regarding therapeutic effect of music on children with autism. The practical, empiric, part of the thesis aims to analyze the impact of music therapy on the development of pupils of special elementary schools, primarily in the area of communication. Three demonstrations of music therapy lessons applied within the process of the target group therapy are included as well as case studies of pupils with autism, individual therapy plans and their evaluation. Acceptance of visual impairment in working age

Bachelor thesis is manipulated in theoretical-empirical plain. Work treats about problems of persons who came by their eyesight during their lifetime. Theoretical part is divided to three head chapters. First chapter characterizes productive age and its subchapters describe acceptation and non-acceptation of eyesight disorders and personality of a sightless. Second chapter is oriented into eyesight disorders and visual defects. Third chapter provides look at various barriers with employing of people with eyesight disorder in productive age. Empirical part of this work is described in fourth chapter and is based on interpretation and analysis of interview with visually impaired person. The main aim of interview was to determine how visually impaired person can countervail with eyesight disorder at adulthood. Work is filled up by used literature and additions.

Lenka Felcmanová ABSTRACT: The goal of my diploma thesis named "Cooperation between special learning centers and kindergartens that integrate children with disabilities" is to point out issues of integration process in common kindergartens.The first part deals with theoretical knowledge in the field and explains technical terms of special and preschool education. Then it focuses on a current legislative framework in Czech Republic which covers integration of children with disabilities into kindergartens. The second part of the thesis is research realized among teachers in preschool educational facilities. Its main purpose was to find how the integration process works and what are experiences of teachers who teach classes where are children with disabilities. The conclusion displays the meaning and how important it is to integrate children with disabilities in kindergartens. Bachelor thesis addresses the up-to-date issue of "Individual integration of pupils with specific learning disabilities in primary school". It is divided into theory and practical part. The theory part, worked out from specialized source, defines specific learning disabilities and describes its classification, symptoms, reeducation of specific learning disabilities in general . The practical part describes an example of good practice - Táborská Elementary School, where individual integration of pupils along with specific learning disabilities takes place. It deals, in addition to the characteristics of schools, school counseling department and course integration and several specific examples of the integration.
