Patients' adherence to physiotherapy
Prunerová, Anna ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Reckziegelová, Petra (referee)
Title: Patients' adherence to physiotherapy Background: Physiotherapy includes many techniques, which can be effective during a treatment of musculoskeletal system. It is up to each patient, how he or she will approach to health. Evaluation of adherence to exercise can be beneficial in the beginning, during and after the end of physiotherapy. Objectives: The aim of this study was using of the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale in Czech translation to find out how the patients adhere to a physiotherapeutic treatment plan and assess the causes. Methods: The research group consisted of 151 respondents, older than 18 years and they completed physiotherapy at least once in their lives. For data collection was used the Exercise Adherence Rating Scale. The Scale was available via online research survey in March 2020 and self-selection was chosen. Results: According to the results, 67 % employees participated in the research study. 63 % respondents were aged between 36 and 64 years. Physiotherapy was most often covered by insurance company. In EARS, excellent internal consistency values of Section B on the item level and satisfactory to good internal consistency values of Section C on the item level were obtained. Significant correlations of the EARS sections confirm criterion validity in terms of adherence....

The research group consisted of 72 patients in standard 3-months inpatient treatment. Following measures were used for data collection: 1) Behavioural Regulation in Exercise Questionnaire (BREQ-2) and Personality Inventory for DSM-5 (PID- 5); 2) anthropometrics; 3) body composition data from "InBody 230"; 4) training diaries. According to the results, 72 % of patients were treated with alcohol dependence. Excellent internal consistency values of the PID-5 facets and satisfactory to good internal consistency values of BREQ-2 on the item level were obtained. Significant correlations of the PID-5 facets and domains of the BREQ-2 confirm criterion validity in terms of motivation. Type of motivation significantly varies according type...

Prunerová, Anna ; Táborská, Silvie (advisor) ; Pochylová, Barbora (referee)
of bachelor thesis Title of bachelors thesis: Influence of physical activity on changes in skeletal muscle mass after brain injury Abstract: Bachelor thesis concerns with resulting of muscle mass after four weeks of physical acitivity doing. There were chosen patients with traumatic brain lesion and with hemiparetic stroke. The thesis is divided in two parts, theoretical and practical. Theoretical part is belonged to brain injury etiology. The attention is on hemiparetic stroke and traumatic brain lesion. Then there is described the architecture of skeletal muscle and there are included changes, which can be established on it. A part of it there is correct physical activity, which is indicated to these patients. In this thesis there is also explaining of biological impedance analysis and instruments, which were used during detection of results. In practical part there is concerned a metodology of thesis. Criteria of selection of patients, analysis and data processing are included. There are casuistries of three patients, one woman and two men after brain injury. Casuistries concern apart of anamnesis, entrance and output kinesiology examination also a measure of bioimpedance, which is important in this thesis for finding of influence of physical activity on muscle mass. Key words: Brain injury,...
