Analysis of drug dosage adjustments in patients with chronic kidney disease
Procházková, Jana ; Vlček, Jiří (advisor) ; Doseděl, Martin (referee)
Candidate: Jana Procházková1 Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Jiří Vlček, CSc.1 Consultant: PharmDr. Zuzana Očovská1 Title of the master thesis: Analysis of drug dosage adjustments in patients with chronic kidney disease 1 Department Social and Clinical Pharmacy, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové, Charles University Several medications excreted by the kidneys or associated with an increased risk for adverse drug events in patient with chronic kidney disease (CKD) require dosage adjustment, cautious use or avoidance. However, a number of studies show that appropriate dosage adjustment is not provided in many cases. Our objective was to analyze appropriateness of drug dosages and contraindicated medications in patients with CKD admitted to the hospital in Hradec Králové via the department of emergency medicine. This study is an observational cross-sectional study and represents a sub-study of the previous study that examined drug-relatedness of unplanned hospital admissions to University Hospital Hradec Králové in 2018. The data were obtained from electronic medical records. The appropriateness of drug use and drug dosages was analyzed in patients with an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) between 15 and 60 mL/min/1.73 m2 based on comparison with the Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC). The methodology specialist's role of prevention and his self-education
Kozáková, Aneta ; Dvorná, Marie (advisor) ; Procházková, Jana (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the school prevention methodologist and his/her further training possibilities. The theoretical part is divided into five large chapters. The first chapter deals with the school environment. The second chapter deals with introduces us to types of risky cho- behavior. The third chapter deals with prevention. The fourth chapter focuses on the counselling department of primary schools and the last one on the prevention method itself and the topics related to it. In the practical part I try to present the work of the school prevention methodologist and compare how practice coincides with theory. For the purpose of this investigation, I obtained eight interviews with school prevention methodologists to determine their expertise, support and cooperation, and opportunities for further training.

The space data analysis
Burešová, Klára ; Štarha, Pavel (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of spatial data and 3D descriptors for object recognition in scenes. The aim of the thesis was to study the issues of working with 3D data and to make a study of different types of 3D descriptors. In this work, we analyzed some descriptors in terms of their ability to describe and quantify the properties of objects in three-dimensional space. Based on this analysis, we selected a suitable descriptor for object recognition in scenes and implemented it. The result of this work is a deeper understanding of 3D descriptors and their applications in spatial data analysis. Our implementation of the selected descriptor provides a basis for further research and development in object recognition in 3D scenes.

Geometric algebras and neural networks
Zapletal, Jakub ; Procházková, Jana (referee) ; Vašík, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of geometric algebras in the field of neural networks. First, Conformal Geometric Algebra (CGA) and Geometric Algebra for Conics (GAC) and their Python implementations are introduced. The functioning of neural networks is then described, including an explanatory example. Finally, both topics are connected by using the appropriate library in the Python language, and the possibilities of geometric algebras for different models of neural networks are demonstrated on several examples.

Surface approximation using B-spline and T-spline
Pálková, Tereza ; Loučka, Pavel (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on B-spline representation of surfaces and its generalization Tspline. The work is divided into three main parts. The introduction lays down the theoretical foundations of both surfaces and presents their mathematical properties. The second part deals with the implementation of algorithms in Matlab software. The final part contains the application of the algorithms on real data obtained by 3D scanning and a comparison of both surfaces in terms of utilization.

Image descriptors
Dula, Marek ; Druckmüller, Miloslav (referee) ; Procházková, Jana (advisor)
Image processing is a growing industry that makes extensive use of image descriptors to analyze objects in a photo. Nowadays, practically all photos go through Image processing, for example for our convenience when browsing digital photos or for our safety, but also for marketing purposes.

Image Processing for Optimal Focusing of Light Microscope
Kvašňovská, Petra ; Procházková, Jana (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is a selection of appropriate parameters to gauge image sharpness. The thesis contains the mathematical theory needed to solve this issue. Picture digitalization necessary for working with an image on a computer is also described. The outcome of the thesis is a method, using which the positions of optimally sharpened test images of objects observed by a light microscope were found.
