Possibilities of graduates of secondary schools and universities, and persons over 50 years in labor market in the region Vysočina

The topic of this thesis was chosen due to significant implementation problems in the labor market. Working closely monitors specific population groups, namely: school leavers and those aged over 50 years in the region Vysočina in the years 2000 to 2011 and try to analyze and view the situation on the labor market, level of supply and demand in selected groups. The results of the work can be observed trend in the increased number of educated people and life expectancy, which aims to increase the number of people interested in skilled and less-skilled jobs, but even though unemployment rates are in the region Vysočina lower than in the Czech Republic.
Possibilities of Financing the Acquisition of Owner-occupied Housing in the Czech Republic in 2012

An availability of owner-occupied housing is affected by an availability of loans for housing. The aim of the paper is to find out the availability of the loans for housing for households. These households are divided into four groups. Each group is represented by one model family. The analysis of number of the people in the household, the number of the children, type of income and its size are important for modeling the family. Each of these model families asks a mortgage bank and building society for a loan. After the finding out the financial situation, the institution evaluates the creditworthiness of the family. Then the bank or building society will provide the loan or not. The secondary aim of this paper is to compare the setting of the state aid for mortgages and for the building savings loans. Using the offers from banks and the building societies the specific state aid are compared. The state aids are compared in percentage and in the total aid.
Basic Characteristics of the Current Pension Reform in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic as well as the whole of Europe is struggling with a significant aging of the population. As a result of this unfavorable demographic development, the state pension system is becoming financially unsustainable. In this context, there have been discussions about the need for a pension reform at both professional and political level for more than 15 years now. This bachelor thesis provides a comprehensive view of this issue. The essential theoretical framework consists of the classification of pension systems and the characteristics of the Czech pension security. As an analysis of the demographic development, this work shows a need for a comprehensive systemic change. The thesis outlines reform options based largely on the conclusions of the two of Bezděk commissions. The paper analyzes changes in the Czech pension system, focusing on both small and large pension reform. Subsequently, the suitability of the changes and their fiscal and social impact, are evaluated.
Proprietary housing and current possibilities of financing

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the use of instruments of housing finance through the financial market and housing policy and its instruments. The first part will focus on the general characteristics of housing, its peculiarities, classification of forms and financing instruments, focusing on building savings and mortgage lending. The individual objective is to analyze the current product offerings of the Czech financial market intended for housing and a comparison of their main properties. The analytical part will contain model example comparing the conditions and the use of housing finance instruments selected financial institutions in the current period and selection of the most suitable solution for the chosen model situation.
Efficiency and targeting of retraining courses in region Mělník in the period 2007-2011

This thesis deals with analysis of efficiency of retraining courses in region Mělník in the period 2007-2011 related to its effect on employment of people who participated in this program. For efficiency measuring is used method of gross effects of retraining courses. The secondary target of this paper is analysis of target of retraining courses. Method used in the secondary target is the targeting index. Effectiveness analysis of the results of retraining courses shows that on average 70% of courses graduates find a job within 12 months after finishing the program. This results are deeply connected with sociodemographical characteristic of the participants. Usage of targeting index in analysis pointed out deficiencies of the courses targeted towards disadvantaged groups, manifested by the 'creaming effect'. Based on the analysis results, the retraining courses can be considered as an effective instrument of allowing the unemployed people to be put back to in the work process.
The employability of the group of people older than 50 years on the labor market in the Zlín region in 2010 - 2011

The main topic of this thesis is the group of inhabitants older than 50 years in the Zlín region, which is generally considered as a high-risk group in the labor market due to the their age. The theoretical part is focused on the basic terms which are associated with the labor market, unemployment and employment policy in the Czech Republic. On the basis of the SWOT analyse was said that the group of 50 years old people is very eligible for employers. After analyzying the situation of the group of the people older than 50 years on the labor market in the Zlín region was resulted that the biggest group of job applicants are people in the age of 20 -- 24 years, other problematic groups are people in the age of 55 -- 59 years and 50 -- 54 years. The most of the active employment policy tools, which usually help to employ this group in, were effective. Other part is devoted to the results of the survey between employers and job applicants who were older than 50 years. This survey was done by the employment office in Zlín. It was showed the age of job applicants is not important for employers. In the last chapter are given some ideas how to solve this problem and there are also mentioned possible opportunities how to reduce the unemployment in the Zlín region.
Possibilities of modernizing the content of family policy in response to the changing attitudes of young generation

This thesis focuses on balancing work and family as a crucial aspect of family policies of European countries that are in this area considered to be successful regard to higher levels of fertility. Its aim is to identify real possibilities how to modernize specific parameter of the family policy in the Czech Republic in response to the ongoing shift in attitudes of young generation who choose alternative family and reproductive strategies than the previous generation. The work summarizes the findings of population economics, demography, sociology and gender studies, which supports to compile a more comprehensive analysis. The thesis used a comparative analysis method to assess the selected key instruments to balance work and family in the Czech Republic and selected European countries - France, Austria and Sweden. The thesis evaluates the rate and manner of their use and also an optimality of the institutional environment in terms of creating appropriate conditions for the reconciliation of family and gender roles.
Rental and co-operative housing in the Czech Republic since the nineties of the 20th century

The diploma thesis is focused on the problems in the sector of rental and co-operative housing since the nineties of the twentieth century in the Czech Republic. Firstly the thesis deals with the description of the basic concepts such as housing, supply and demand for housing, housing policy and instruments through which it achievs its goals. Further the thesis analyzes the current situation in the housing stock and its allocation to individual sectors. The third chapter concentrates on the issue of rental and co-operative housing. This chapter provides ample space for development of regulation as well as deregulation of rents. The end of the chapter foccuses the attention on the issue of social housing not only in the Czech Republic but also in selected countries of the European Union. The last two chapters deal with state housing support, where in addition to promoting the supply side mentioned is also housing benefit and satisfaction with living in the Czech Republic.
The support of the preschool children’s care

This thesis deals with the support of the preschool children's care. The main aim of this work is to focus on the support of facilities such as nursery schools and kindergartens. The theoretical part is concerned with the problems of family as such and its support made by the state. The thesis further is focused on the search for importance of preschool facilities for all involved subjects including family, government, municipalities and companies, followed by the introduction of various forms of the extra familiar care with an emphasis on private services. In the practical part of the thesis, there is analysed the demand and supply of childcare services by demographic, regional and economic development. It points out the main problems in this area and compares the Czech system with European states. The final section presents new directions, where the area is approaching. It also brings an appraisal with findings that without the support of the state surveyed area cannot be developed further. Suggestions how to improve the whole system are mentioned as well.
STATUS OF WOMEN IN THE LABOUR MARKET IN CONTEXT OF HARMONIZATION OF FAMILY AND WORKING LIFE IN CZECH REPUBLIC

This thesis focuses on the position of women in the labor market in a situation when the employed woman should simultaneously fulfill parental obligations. It is about achieving harmony in the areas of career and family of women returning to work after maternity or parental leave. The thesis deals with the changes of the family in terms of social development tendencies, characterizes the labor market of the Czech Republic, its structure and legislative regulations related to equal opportunities for men and women in the workplace (the question of gender equality), including the interpretation of EU law. Following are the main challenges that woman faces in seeking to combine family and professional sphere and the ways in which the state or employers engage in this sense. Analytical section provides an objective assessment of the situation on the labor market in the Czech Republic compared to foreign economies. In particular are explained current approaches of governments and companies to researched issues in the country, which should improve the situation.
