Survey and Diagnostics of Reinforced Concrete Construction
Pokorný, Jakub ; Vítek, Lubomír (referee) ; Anton, Ondřej (advisor)
The thesis Building Investigation and Diagnosis of Reinforced Concrete Structure is focused on analyzing two reinforced concrete bridge structures. It discusses different evaluation surveys and its influence on later evaluation of the bridges. In this thesis there is included static evaluation finding supports at one of reinforced concrete bridges. Practical part is complemented by the necessary theoretical part, which deals with exploring bridges, ways of their implementation, and a summary of the most commonly used diagnostic methods for bridges.

Analysis of factors influencing the market value of houses in České Budějovice
Pokorný, Jakub ; Jiří, Schneider (referee) ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis named „Analysis of factors influecing the market value of houses in České Budějovice“ is to consider how much does the locality, kind and number of buildings used together with a family house (wells, outdoor swimming pools, water areas) affect the market price of selected family houses. Another goal was to count cost and comparative price of five selected family houses in České Budějovice and to describe the market situation in this city. For calculation of the market price it was created a database of family houses in the township České Budějovice and in detail was described the situation on market in the city. The prices are listed and evaluated in practical part, including the grafical representation.
Effects of crustal rheology on stresses generated in subducting lithosphere
Pokorný, Jakub ; Čížková, Hana (advisor)
In this thesis we present the results of the numerical models of lithospheric subduction focused on the influence of rheological properties of the crust. We use a two-dimensional Cartesian model with non-linear rheology, including the major phase transitions at the depths of 410 km and 660 km. The separation of the subducting and overriding plates is facilitated by a low-viscosity crust, prescribed on the top of the subducting plate. Previous studies have shown that the mechanical properties of this crust significantly influence the deformation of the subducted plate in the transition zone. Here we focus 1) on a detailed analysis of the combined effects of the crustal thickness and viscosity on the slab deformation and its ability to penetrate to the lower mantle and 2) the implementation of the non-linear crustal rheology and testing the influence of its parameters. In the case of models with constant viscosity we show that the increase of the crustal thickness and/or the decrease of its viscosity makes it easier for the subducting plate to move and therefore leads to increasing the subduction velocity and rollback. If the ratio between the crustal viscosity and its thickness à · 3:3 č 1016 à · 3:3 č 1016 Pa s m-1 the slab stagnates above the boundary at the depth of 660 km. For higher ratio ÃÃ...

Průzkum veřejného mínění na způsob obhospodařování ŠLP Masarykův les Křtiny
Pokorný, Jakub
I elaborate my diploma thesis at the Department of Forest and Wood Products Economics and Policy, led by Ing. et. Ing. Josef Lenoch, PhD. I focus on the public opinion survey of a representative sample of visitors of the Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny (TFE). The goal is to map the sociological structure of forest visitors - gender, age, education and knowledge representation, and their opinions on the management of the Training Forest Enterprise and their general awareness and knowledge of forestry and forestry issues, opinions on the fulfillment of the non-productive functions of the forest, the satisfaction of visitors with access by Training Forest Enterprise, possible comments and contributions to improve management, and in particular, the fulfillment of non-productive functions of the forest etc. The survey will be conducted directly on the territory of the TFE on visited hiking trails, on the territory of all three forest districts (Habrůvka, Vranov and Bílovice nad Svitavou) using a simple anonymous questionnaire.

Creating a company and its information system
Pokorný, Jakub ; Stanovská, Iva (advisor) ; Huňáček, Tomáš (referee)
There are numerous emerging companies creating interesting and often unique projects in the 21st century. These companies frequently operate in a new, rapidly changing sector. These companies may face an insufficient supply of standardized information software, capable of supporting the business. On the contrary, an individual application software (made from scratch) might not be an option for the companies due to lack of finance to fund its development. Moreover, such SW may not be suitable for companies, especially in a situation when the company starts business activities in a new field, where all the business processes, hence the software requirements, emerge after many test runs and trials. In theory, this thesis focuses on possible solutions to this problem and in practice examines one specific software solution using an example of a property management company Property Rentier s.r.o. (hereinafter PR) which offers complex management services for recreational homes and short-term rental properties, especially using an Airbnb platform. PR has currently been confronted with a decision to make, whether or not to restructure its software solution and its architecture or keep its own and merely keep expanding it. The main goal of this thesis is to analyze and summarize the current processes of the selected company, describe how it is being supported by IT/ICT and, based on these findings, evaluate and recommend further measures regarding restructuring of the companys IT systems. The thesis output is meant for the PR company as well as for any start-up companies as a supportive material which should help ease its struggle making decisions about software development or its purchase.
Possibilities of hydraulic fracturing in geothermal energy exploitation
Pokorný, Jakub ; Fischer, Tomáš (advisor) ; Horálek, Josef (referee)
Hydraulic stimulation is a technique used to increase the permeability of reservoir formation by creation of new and connection of existing cracks. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to collect and explain the basic principles of continuum mechanics and fundamentals of fluid hydraulics that are an integral part of the overall understanding of the issue of stimulation and its later more detailed study. After a general introduction, these findings are put into context in terms of mechanism of rock fracturing and fluid flow in the emerging stimulated geothermal systems. This thesis is completed by placing the example of geothermal project Groß Schönebeck from the start of stimulation to the final hydraulic tests, which were carried out with the aim of assessing the efficiency of fracture permeability enhancement. The Muscle Imbalance among Team Handball Players
Pokorný, Jakub ; Táborský, František (advisor) ; Pánek, David (referee)
Název práce: Svalová dysbalance u hráčů házené Muscular lmbalance among Team Handball Playeres Cíle práce: Diagnostikovat svalovou dysbalanci u vybrané skupiny házenkářů a házenkářek, popsat její četnost, povahu a důsledky. Navrhnout a dlouhodobě aplikovat terapeutické ovlivnění svalové nerovnováhy a následně sledovat vliv na stav svalového systému, na četnost výskytu funkčních poruch pohybového aparátu, sportovních zranění a pohybovou výkonnost hráčů. Metoda: Sledovaný soubor tvořilo celkem 57 hráčů pražských SCM v házené (HC Dukla Praha a DHC Slavia Praha). Studie probíhala od ledna 2006 do února 2007. Během prvních dvou měsíců byla u všech hráčů vyšetřena funkce svalového systému, provedeno dotazníkové šetření a testována pohybová výkonnost. Následovalo desetiměsíční období, ve kterém byli všichni hráči sledováni a někteří z nich pravidelně prováděly kompenzační cvičení k obnovení svalové rovnováhy.
