Fitness comparison of the European ground squirrel's populations living in different habitats and population density

Fitness in ground squirrels is a frequently discussed topic, reported in many publications, although it was rarely the subject of their study. The aim of this study was to determine which factors and find out how they affect the fitness of individuals, and thus the whole population of the European ground squirrel in Czech Republic. For this purpose we collected body mass data at three studied population, which are the main indicator of the fitness in ground squirrels. We also recorded information about injuries, reproduction status, ectoparasites and endoparasites. Moreover we collected all available data on the body mass of European ground squirrel in the central European region, and we compiled overview of body mass changes during the season. This enables us to compare our data with typical/common body mass value in particular sex, age and season. Recorded differences in body mass at three studied sites were related to sex, age, locality and season. We found positive correlation between the body mass and injuries from fights/reproduction activity in adult males. The relationship between body mass and reproduction activity of females was not found. Four species of ectoparasites, mostly occurring in adults, were recorded in studied populations. The thesis deals with the theoretical definition of terms innovation, product. It also describes the introduction of innovative product to market and measuring the economic impact of innovation. In practical part is characteristics of the chosen company and design of the innovation in the form of interconnection of services. They were also designed leaflets which will promote innovation.

Action plans and protection of ground squirrels

Unfortunately, the number of endangered species is still increasing, in most cases due to the human activities. The main aim of the protection of species is to provide conditions for survival of endangered species in nature. However, for some species the common instruments of protection (such as protection of habitat) are not sufficient and it is necessary to use some special methods. For these species are organized so-called action plans. Among such species belongs the European Ground Squirrel (Spermophilus citellus). We can find also other endangered species within ground squirrels from the tribe Marmotini Pocock, 1923 as well. These species need the special protection methods, like captive breeding, repatriation and translocation of individuals or special management of the habitat. Practice of resident evidence in the Czech Republic

This graduate work talks about problematic of evidence of inhabitans in Czech Republic practise law. The theoretic part explains the primary concepts, which are associated with evidence of inhabitans. It describes a development of legislation related with evidence of inhabitans since 1948 till present. The important part deal with state administration bodies and the major activities consistent to law of evidence of inhabitans. At the practic part, there are analyzed individually activities in case of evidence in Spálené Poříčí. Thanks to practise experience of the writer, we can read the real problems from problematic of evidence of inhabitans. At the end of this work, there are proposed resolutions of this problems, which can head to more effective procedur.

Analýza lidského rozvoje v Ugandě

This master thesis is concerned with the human development in Uganda as an alternative approach to the more researched economic development. In the literature review there are outlined possible ways of assessing of human development of society, living standards and inequalities among the population. The practical part is focused on the analysis of human development in the period 1980-2013 based on the Human Development Index (HDI) and its individual components - the index of health, index of education and income index. The analysis is also supplemented with several socioeconomic and demographic indicators related to the development of the country. Development index was explained in the socio-political context of the country.
