Influence of technological process of powder painting on the quality of silver-plated components in gas insulated substation - GIS
Nováková, Eliška ; Prosecký, Vít (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with the topic of silver coating on the inner surface of the tubes made of aluminum alloy EN AW-6101B. The high affinity of the aluminum for the oxygen, the heterogeneity of the surface and the presence of the hydrogen in the base material, are the properties which hinder the formation of metallic coating on the surface of the aluminum alloy. The saturation of the base material with the hydrogen, e.g. due to the pretreatment of the surface or by the process of creating of coatings, may under certain conditions cause the defects of the silver coating in the form of the bubbles (blisters). Other factors that may affect the quality of the silver coating are the way of creating of the interlayer and the conditions for the electrolytic deposition of the silver.
Hydride generation of bismuth for atomic absorption and fluorescence spectrometry.
Kolrosová, Marta ; Musil, Stanislav (advisor) ; Nováková, Eliška (referee)
This master's thesis deals with the optimization of conditions of chemical hydride generation (HG) of bismuth, its atomization and detection by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) and atomic fluorescence spectrometry (AFS). Two types of atomizers were used for atomization of volatile species, a miniature diffusion flame for AAS as well as for AFS and a flame-in-gas-shield atomizer for AFS. At first, the parameters of HG in a flow injection mode were optimized - the concentration of hydrochloric acid, the concentration of sodium borohydride and the volume of the reaction coil. Subsequently, the atomization conditions were optimized using both atomizers. The parameters optimized were hydrogen fraction, total gas flow rate and observation height. Due to the more complicated construction of the FIGS atomizer, more parameters were studied, such as the oxygen flow rate through the capillary and the flow rate of shielding argon required for shielding the free atoms. A special part of the thesis dealt with the optimization of the optical path of the atomic fluorescence spectrometer, the selection of an interference filter and the optimization of a power supply of an electrodeless discharge lamp. It was found that under optimum conditions of generation, atomization and detection excellent detection limits...
UV-photochemical generation of cadmium volatile compounds with atomic spectrometric detection
Horová, Kateřina ; Nováková, Eliška (advisor) ; Červený, Václav (referee)
The aim of this master's thesis has been to develop and optimize the method of UV- photochemical vapor generation of cadmium volatile compounds for atomic fluorescence spectrometry. Two configurations with different materials wrapped around the low-pressure mercury vapor lamp were tested. I experimentally determined optimal conditions for both systems; the optimalized parametres included selection of photochemical reagent and its concentration, flow rate of liquids and gases, and the lenghth of the reaction coil. After finding the optimal parametres I determined the figures of merit of the method. I found from the measured data that UV-photoreactor with the quartz capillary provided lower limits of detection and thus was more suitable for generation of cadmium volatile compounds. With this arrangement and using the ferrous sulphate heptahydrate as the chemical modifier I obtained limit of detection 2,0 µg·l-1 , limit of determination 7,0 µg·l-1 , linear dynamic rate LOD-50 µg·l-1 and repeatibility 0,35 %. I also carried out the interference study in my thesis and determined the generation effeciency of cadmium volatile compounds. The interference study shows the influence of mineral acids (HCl, H2SO4, HNO3), their salts (NaNO2, NaNO3) and transition metals (Co, Ni, Cu). Based on literature review I also...
UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds of selenium and tellurium
Nováková, Eliška
The presented thesis deals with UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds of Se and Te from various species. The aim of the project was to expand the current state of knowledge by the application of photocatalytic reduction of higher oxidation states of Se and Te for the speciation analysis based on UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds. The first step of the study was the assembly of the apparatus for the photocatalysed UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds. The material of reactor and the whole experimental set-up were based on literature survey and previous research done in our research group. Experiments were directed towards finding the optimum conditions for generation of volatile compounds of selected model elements Se and Te. Se was studied as the element most commonly determined by the UV-photochemical generation of volatile compounds. Conversely, Te was selected as a model analyte representing elements forming less stable volatile compounds. The second part was the application of the optimised method of photocatalysed UV- photochemical generation of volatile Se compound to the determination of Se in water matrices, liquid certified reference materials and also samples of dietary supplements. TiO2/UV-photochemical generation was also successfully modified to...
The Development and Objectives of Adult Education Policy in the Czech Republic in the Context of Europeanization
Nováková, Eliška ; Kopecký, Martin (advisor) ; Langer, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the influence of Europeanization in the Czech political documents concerning education and learning of adults. It also discusses the development of the concepts of adult education and learning in lifelong learning in EU policy papers and how adult education and learning has been reflected in the political documents of the Czech Republic with regard to the phenomenon of Europeanization. The thesis is based on the assumption that although education and training policies are fully within the competence of national states, the European Union has a major influence on the form and development of the education systems of the member countries. The aim of my work is to analyze selected key policy documents of the European Union and the Czech Republic and to find out whether EU strategies related to adult education were incorporated into national documents. The second objective of the thesis is to compare the development of concepts of adult education and learning in the key political documents of the Czech Republic and the European Union. Keywords: European Union, Czech Republic, education policy, lifelong learning, adult education
Photochemical generation of volatile species of cobalt for analytical atomic spectrometry
Vyhnanovský, Jaromír ; Musil, Stanislav (advisor) ; Nováková, Eliška (referee)
This master's thesis deals with the optimization of conditions for photochemical generation of volatile species of cobalt. Volatile species of cobalt were generated in a flow injection system using a high-efficiency flow through UV generator from formic acid based medium. For detection a high-resolution continuum source atomic absorption spectrometer was used. The volatile species were atomized using a diffusion flame atomizer because of its high robustness. First the optimizations of the parameters affecting the atomization in the diffusion flame and the parameters affecting the transport of the volatile species from the UV generator into the atomizer were carried out (flow rates and composition of the gases, type of a separator, observation height). After that, the optimization of the parameters of the photochemical generation itself was carried out. These were the composition of a reaction medium (concentration of formic acid and formate, type of formate salt) and irradiation time. The possibility of generation of the volatile species from acetic acid based medium was also investigated, but no signal was observed. At chosen optimal conditions of generation the influence of potential interferents was examined, mainly from inorganic acids (HNO3 and HCl) and some transition metals (Fe, Cu and Ni)....
Games and toys in the period of primary school age
NOVÁKOVÁ, Eliška
The Bachelor thesis deals with the topic "Games and toys in the period of primary school age". In the theoretical part, I explain what the primary school age means, how it is characterized by physical, psychic and social aspects and which developmental changes are happening in this age. I introduce you to the history and the presence of various types of games and toys. I focus mainly on the appropriate types preffered by children in primary school age, including sorting options. In the practical part I found out, what is most important for parents when choosing toys. The research group consists of 10 parents of children in primary school age. The aim of the research is to find out, what games and toys are preferred by parents of primary school children in the region of Jindřichův Hradec and what are their criterions for choosing toys. I used conversation with parents for this research. The research shows, physical and social games are still more popular than electronic. For most parents, entertaining and educational aspects are important when choosing toys, but they also evaluates harmlessness, material, place of production or price.
