Game Activities in Children Affected by Cerebral Palsy

IN ENGLISH Title: Use of game activities with children afflicted by cerebral paresy. Objective: The main objective is creation and testing of a set of appropriate game activities for mixed groups of children afflicted by cerebral paresy. A secondary objective to be derived from practical application and observations is to develop general principles for working with disabled children. These principles should improve and complement knowledge of professionals working with children who have been disabled by cerebral paresy. Method: The suitability of the game project was tested on groups of children of various ages. Practice took place during weekly swimming lessons. Research data was compiled by means of questionnaires which were distributed to all team leaders who participated in the project. Results: The results include evaluation of both the practical aspects of the games and the data obtained through the questionnaire. General principles for leisure time activities for children disabled by cerebral paresy have also been addressed. Outdoor Education (OE) from the Czech Companies Viewpoint

and key words Title: Outdoor education (OE) from the view of Czech companies Aim of the work: Analyse and evaluate the outdoor education situation in Czech republic and the posibilities of applying it in human resources. Find out why the companies take part in the outdoor courses and what do they expect from it. Method: A questionnaire research was used to find out how the Czech companies evaluate the outdoor education and the courses themselves. We gained answers from 20 companies working on the Czech market. To gain better view on the problem we compared the results with other thesis. The largest differences were recorded in visitor numbers, opening hours, walls profiles, the number of holds and climbing organization on these walls. The Importance of Outdoor Training (OT) in Education of Employees

Present current Czech and European OT market from the point ofview ofthe OT providers. Method: A questionnaire research was used to find out how important is OT for the companies. The answers were gained from 19 personnel managers of different companies with the place of business in the Czech Republic. A method of the secondary analysis of the literature was chosen for the evaluation of the suitability and topicality ofOT. To present current situation on the market the structured interview with representatives of providers ofoutdoor training was used. Results: The results show the point ofview ofthe personnel managers to the OT and present the situation on the Czech and European OT market. Characteristics of Competitors in Natural Survivals

Title: Characteristics ofcompetitors in natural survivals Aim: This graduation paper brings a comprehensive overview about the sport branch "natural survival", its organization, structure and race character. The main aim is to :find the characteristics of a group of competitors, their preparation, equipment, way of living and specializations. Method: Research material for our graduation paper has been collected through: Results: Quantitative data collection - a questionnaire. Document analysis, analysis of written materials and websites - qualitative content analysis. Preparation ofcompetitors for these races is not speci:fic. Race attractiveness decides the most about the competitors' participation in individua! races, and race duration decides the least. It is possible to include these races for testing skills, abilities and team cooperation for common sports people with the doser relation to outdoor sports. Comparison of number of competitors in the last years has confinned that the number ofcompetitors has settled down. A new sport branch "natural survival" has been formed. A Team Building Course as a Product on the Czech Market

Title of the thesis: Teambuilding course as a product on the Czech market Aim of the thesis: The aim of the thesis is to give an overview on possibilities of developing the team work and activities oriented in this scope. The main aim is to bring particular information from to Czech companies and to find the role and particular shape of the teambuilding courses within the company education. Method: For qualitative character of information was chosen the accession of case studies. Information from the companies was gained by using structured interview. Results: Teambuilding is a term ofwide comprehension. Large companies devote much of their attention and resources to education of the employees. The importance of soft skills competences has been growing up. Teambuilding activities can be found in all surveyed companies. Methods and instruments are different. Název práce: Areál pro volnočasové aktivity dětí z pohledu manažera Název v angličtině: An area for free-time activities ofchildren from the manger point of VleW Cíl práce: Prezentovat na příkladu přírodního zábavního areálu pro děti v Mariánských Lázních určitý postup při vytváření podobných areálů s veřejně prospěšnými cíli v neziskovém sektoru v ČR. Projekt by měl zahrnout zejména oblast plánování, realizace a provozu areálu a měl by být prospěšný především těm, kteří o založení obdobného areálu mají zájem a chybí jím ucelená publikace zabývající se tímto tématem. Metoda: Ke zpracování úkolů byla použita popisná analýza literatury a internetových zdrojů, dále interview s odborníky a volné nestrukturované rozhovory s členy občanského sdružení "Hravý pramen". Výsledky: Přispěly k prezentaci areálu pro volnočasové aktivity z pohledu manažera, zejména popisem činností doprovázejí plánování, realizaci a provoz areálu, které jsou dále aplikovatelné při vytváření obdobných areálů v České Republice. Application of Scanning Probe Microscopy for the Study of Ultrathin Films and Nanostructures

Dizertační práce je obecně zaměřena na problematiku mikroskopie atomárních sil (AFM), a to jak vývoje částí těchto mikroskopů, tak i jejich obecnému využití v oblasti výzkumu povrchů, ultratenkých vrstev a nanostruktur. Na Ústavu fyzikálního inženýrství jsou vyvíjena zařízení umožňující aplikovat uvedenou mikroskopickou metodu. V těchto mikroskopech jsou využívány piezoelektrické motory pro zajištění pohybu vzorku a ladicích zrcátek v optickém detekčním systému. Práce se v části věnované vývoji AFM zabývá studiem parametrů řídicích pulzů za účelem optimalizace funkce těchto komponent. Měřením vlivu tvaru pulzů a opakovací frekvence byl jejich pohyb optimalizován z hlediska stability a rychlosti posuvu. V části věnované výzkumu povrchů byly experimentálně zkoumány morfologické změny ultratenkých vrstev zlata na povrchu oxidu křemičitého za zvýšených teplot. Bylo zjištěno, že vhodná povrchová modifikace způsobuje vznik preferenčních trhlin ve vrstvě zlata. Řízeným rozdělením polykrystalické vrstvy na oddělené oblasti je možné významně ovlivnit proces tvorby ostrůvků zlata vznikajících při žíhání. S využitím metod elektronové litografie je možná příprava uspořádaných polí zlatých ostrůvků o velikostech 50 – 400 nm. Dále bylo ukázáno, že zvýšením teploty žíhání na 1000 °C dochází k postupnému zanořování ostrůvků zlata do povrchu. Tento jev je pravděpodobně způsoben přesunem oxidu křemičitého z oblasti pod zlatým ostrůvkem do těsného okolí vzniklého kráteru, kde tvoří tzv. límec. V těchto studiích vedle metody AFM byla s výhodou používána rovněž elektronová mikroskopie (SEM).

Development of UHV STM/AFM

The main focus of the thesis is on the actuator, which is used for nanopositioning of laser beam in-site AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy). The appropriate shape of supply pulse and frequencies were searched and optimized. They make slip-stick motion of the piezo actuator. Possibilities of solving troubles with UHV (Ultra High Vacuum) are described on the basis of experiment and simulation.
