The work examines the influence of media on Czech society during the economic crisis of 2008-2009. The theoretical part contains an analysis of human communication and analysis of Czech mass media. Briefly describes the causes of economic crisis and its media coverage in the years. The observed background is verified online through a structured questionnaire. The practical part of the study contains evaluated data exploration and suggested solutions to identified problems to prevent the negative influence of media on Czech society.

Patronage from the perspective of the donor

This thesis deals with patronage systems in the United States and the European Union, especially in Great Britain and the Czech Republic. Author's aim is not only describe the funding mechanism samotný culture, hence the non-profit sector, but also the mental effort to understand the foundation and direction of government departments, residents and their representatives to the extent that he, along with the reader could have done a better idea of their future and perspective. They are also examined international experience with regard to their use in the Czech Republic.
While abroad, are examined only the financial systems of patronage, the CR is a topic of widespread patronage collections. They discussed the possibility of what legislation specifically allows legal persons, and what the pros, cons and pitfalls of various forms bring.

Benefits of Cohesion Policy for reducing energy consumption in the Czech Republic

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the benefit of cohesion policy to reduce energy consumption and preserve an attractive environment in the Czech Republic. The aim is to determine the spatial distribution and allocation of approved financial resources from fields of support related to energy savings. The primary focus is on the Operational Programme Environment - priority axis Sustainable Use of Energy and the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovation --priority axis Energy Efficient, which are subjects of the analysis. In conclusion is summarized current information about the form of future cohesion policy after 2013.

Management of Software Products Life Cycle: Theory and Practice

The work focuses on the life cycle of a product (software) in the company since its development, debugging, through its distribution and subsequent maintenance. The work defined by the individual processes within the life cycle occur, are described and analyzed. Compares the practice, as the software is developed, debugged, distributed and managed in the company where I worked and theory, which is drawn from theoretical studies. In the practical part of the work is focused on software maintenance, especially on the comparison of theory and practical applications. For this purpose I used the experience of JKR, Ltd. In conclusion I devote a section for evaluation of lessons learned and suggestions for improving the life cycle so that in case of their use, could this process work efficiently.

A linguistic analysis of a popular science prose

The topic of the diploma work is the analysis of the theory proze in the second half of the seventeenth century with the title Economical books and its comparizon with the two older works published by the end of the 16th century under the general title The Economist. The first part of the diploma work notices the structure of the separate texts, sees the grafical form of the texts and compares its differences. Next part of the work contains the study and comparizon of the individual areas of the human activities participating on the economy which was reflected by the humanistic writers. A special regard is given to the terms of administrative and economical character and the change in thein use from 16th to the 18th century. The work analyses the prevention of the landed estate running in the imagination of the baroque scholar, time evidence and three model examples: brewery, fishpond cultivation, forestry as the typical branches of the old czech economy.The last part of the work is the vocabulary of the chosen ideas dealing with the area of economy and administration of the landed estate formed and divided by the texts of the individual authors. The aim of the work is to evaluate the development of the language in the economical area and to compare the expected activitiies of the individual participants in the economical life and to make a list of terminological units.

Theatre as an Investment Activity

Theatre as an investment activity has a very long tradition. The promising development of these activities in the Czech republic was interrupted in 1945 ? 1989 when the theatre of public service became the most common type of theatre. Therefore, in my thesis I focus on the history of the Czech and world theatre in the form of private-business mainly in its best known form ? the Broadway musical.
The creative industry has had a lot of impact on changes in the perception of all cultural aspects. Having been included in the creative industry, the theatre gains another dimension ? it becomes a modern part of the economy that does not build on agriculture and industrial production but on people?s creative potential.
With the theatre, mainly in its private-business form, is closely related the topic of its financing. You can find examples of successfully functioning theatres in the form of investment activities on both sides o the Atlantic Ocean ? in New York as well as London.

Influence of a competition on the price of the procurement in IT area.

This thesis deals with the public procurements of IT and observes the market, as defined in the category "computer and related services". The first part assesses the development of the market which is consecutively assessed from the perspective of the three largest players in this field. In the following theoretical part in the introduction deals with an outline of the changes which were caused by novelization of the Law on Public Procurement and continues as an analysis of the procurement process. In the last practical part with the help of regression analysis this thesis explores influences on number of bidders and influences on final price in comparison with the estimated price.

web accessibility of Czech schools with economic-managerial orientation

The presented Bachelor thesis will deal with the rules of accessibility of web pages used by Czech schools with economic-managerial orientation, primarily according to the Czech standards following the WCAG. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for web creators concerning accessibility. These rules should make web pages accessible even to people handicapped in all possible ways (eye defects, hearing defects, locomotory problems etc.). My thesis will show how this accessibility varies in different countries (the U.S.A., European countries, the Czech Republic). The rules of how to make web pages will be gradually explained and also will be presented their significance for their practical utilization. In the practical part of my thesis, I will show these rules on several webs used by schools with economic-managerial orientation and subsequently I will try to make their ranking list. Last but not least, I will compare these results with the web of the Faculty of Management.

Práce popisuje a porovnává přístupy vybraných nových členských států Evropské unie (Česká republika, Slovenská republika, Bulharsko, Rumunsko) v oblasti čerpání fondů EU na životní prostředí, upozorňuje na odlišnosti, zdůrazňuje opakující se chyby a jak je možné se jich vyvarovat. Práce dále popisuje praktické problémy, které se mohou vyskytnout při přípravě strategických dokumentů, jednání s Evropskou komisí, se žadateli, vyhodnocování žádostí a realizaci projektů. Dále upozorňuje na příležitosti podnikatelských subjektů v ČR v oblasti ochrany životního prostředí a načrtává rovněž možný vývoj čerpání evropských dotací v nejbližších letech.
