The analysis of a foundation a new tour operator - business plan

The aim of the thesis is to elaborate a business plan for a newly established tour operator that will compile both domestic and foreign tours tailored for customers and their pets. It will then evaluate the possibility of realization. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is generally characterized by entrepreneurial activity in the Czech Republic, legislative requirements and legal forms of business. At this general level is applied to business activities of tour operators. The second part of the document defines the term business plan including its requirements and general users. The third part is an particular emerging business plan tour operator Pet Travel Ltd. Business plan presents the characteristics of the business purpose, analysis and market environment and finally marketing and financial plan. The conclusions will be drawn to the success and risks of the project.
Criteria for selecting suppliers

This thesis analyzes the process of selecting suppliers and the criteria that are taken into consideration within this process in three manufacturing companies: Bosal Czech, Ltd., Continental Czech Republic, Ltd., Brandýs nad Labem and GE Aviation Czech, Ltd. Thesis describes the process of selecting suppliers, evaluative criteria and firm's relationship to their current suppliers. The aim of the thesis is to find out how the process of selecting suppliers works in particular firms. One of the main purposes is to reveal the similarity in the selection process based on theoretical recommendations and best practice. Another objective of this thesis is to determine whether the surveyed firms are able to adapt to modern trends in the management of relations with suppliers.
A linguistic Analysis of a Baroque text

The subject of the bachelor work is the analysis of a sermon On the Apostle St. Matthew´s Day from the book of sermons Coelum vivum... (1724) by Bohumir Hynek Josef Bilovsky. The aim of this work is the analysis of phonological, formative and lexical features of author´s sermon. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part gives brief information about Czech Baroque and its periodization, about the life and work of the preacher BHJ Bilovsky. Next follows the general characteristics of a Baroque sermon structure and a list of explored phonological phenomena. In the practical part we deal with the composition of the sermon, phonological features analysis, we follow colloquial elements penetrating in the author´s language. In morphology, we choose significant items and in the lexical part, we notice the used lingual means. In the end we evaluate the level of the author´s literary language.

Selected aspects of gambling The topic of this Bachelor Thesis consists in family and social aspects of pathological gambling. The author deals particularly with the actual pathological gambling, its origination systems and its development stages in the practical part. Further she deals with the gamblers, stating exactly the risk groups of population that are endangered the most. The impact of pathological gambling on health, family and children of the pathological gambler constitutes very essential part of that chapter. The main goal of the Bachelor Thesis consisted in ascertaining the impacts of pathological gambling on the individual, the family and the family system. Partial goals consisted in ascertaining whether pathological gambling has endangered the gambler{\crq}s job, which the social impacts have been, and further in mapping of the influence of pathological gambling on marital or partner life. Ten persons playing slot machines or terminals, living in the towns of České Budějovice and Volary and aged over 18 years were selected for the research by quota selection. The practical part used the method of qualitative research, executed in form of semi-structured phenomenological interview based on pre-prepared set of questions. The answers of the respondents show that gambling makes most of them suffer from depressions and nervousness, which leads to the conclusion that pathological gambling upsets the psychical condition of persons suffering from this addictive disease. The research further shows that pathological gambling has unambiguously negative impact on marriage and subsequently also on children in the relevant family. The practical part includes also discussion with authors from whom the theoretical part drew information. The conclusions from the research correspond to expert literature almost in all aspects. The author believes that in order to restrict the incidence of pathological gambling in the Czech Republic, change of legislation is particularly needed, as well as extension of primarily preventive programs within this issue. This Thesis can be used for example by institutions dealing with this issue, as well as within primarily preventive actions or for the purpose of further studies and researches. It can also serve for teaching and it can find application within local administration and self-administration.

Potential Application of the Pedagogy of M. Montessori on Pre-school Children

This work deals with alternative pedagogical methods of Marie Montessori and her view on preschool education. The aim is to present mentessori methods, contribution of montessori material and its use in preschool facilities. Theoretical part of the work presents alternative pedagogy, alternative schools and their types, of which I focused on pedagogy of M.Montessori and theoretically explained it. Practical part presents Kindegarden in Olešník, where in one class are being applied principles of M.Montesorri pedagogy. Montessori materials are being used there and also material, which was created by local teachers. Even toys are being used there. Even if this facility does not orthodoxly hold to M.Montessori, they both identify themselves in common basic idea: to give child freedom and space for his own development.
The Importance of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises for Regional Developement

The thesis concerns small and medium-sized enterprises in the Czech republic. The thesisi is determined by the general definition of entrepreneur, small and medium-sized enterprises, business environment, related laws and sources of funding. General definitions were applied in the case study on the specific region -- microregion of Podralsko. Public administration support of small and medium-sized enterprises occurs either in direct or indirect form, the sources of fundings may be drawn from the state budget, from the local-authorities budget and from european sources. The role od public administration and other institutions in small and medium-sized enterprises support affects small and medium-sized enterprises on natinal, regional and local level of microregions and municipalities.
Analysis of Retail Network and Shopping Behaviour in the city of Melnik

The thesis deals with the analysis of shopping behaviour of customers of the Potraviny Dvorak store in the city of Melnik. It is surveyed the structure of customers, circumstances or periodicity of their purchase. Based on criticism of customers against this store there is formulated some recomendation. The first chapter introduces current trends in shopping behaviour in the Czech Republic and touches the topic of price sensitivity. The second chapter surveys retail network in Melnik with an emphasis on the surveyed Potraviny Dvorak store. Third chapter focuses on the analysis of customers of the surveyed store.
Trends and contexts of development of the energy sector

The world is nowadays dependent on energies, which become scarcer and scarcer. Petroleum reserves are shrinking and it is necessary to find new suitable substitutes. Energy consumption is increasing and energy crises are threatening the whole world. This caused price increased of all energies. Prices and consumption can decrease because of economic crisis, however when recession is over prices of energies are likely to grow again. Economic crisis can cause energy sources are predominantly located in politically unstable countries and other countries are dependent on them. National strategies on energy sector are therefore crucial. The Czech Republic with other countries consumes more energy than actually needed. Savings on energies are becoming more important. The production and consumption of energies have harmful by-products polluting the environment which is not desirable. Renewable resources are much less harmful to the environment but their consumption is still limited. Big potential could be also in nuclear energy and coal power plants with new technologies. The goal of this paper is to analyse individual indicators of energy sector of the Czech Republic and compare it internationally, set the strengths and weaknesses of this sector.

The goal of this study is to elaborate an operational study of a gastronomic establishment, analyze competitive advantage and describe the marketing instruments. This study is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical and describes gastronomic services, forms and functions. The second one analyzes a restaurant which I chose. The last part of the study evaluates contemporary situation and proposes how to improve this state.
