People from poor countries are moving thousands of kilometers to developed countries with the vision of material prosperity. Airplanes transport thousands of people in hours to places, where people had travelled much longer recently. Similarly, also an ordinary weekday is for the majority of population connected with relatively long moves between different places of daily activities. Traveling between home, work, kindergartens and schools, shops and leisure activities takes the significant part of our daytime. To capture the measureless amount of particular human creatures in their day-to-day moves through time and space seems to be almost impossible. In fact, it is not so unrealistic. Neighbourhoods in localities of Prague

The neighbourhood is one of the building blocks of the city. The concept of neighbourhood lies between sociological and geographical though, its nature is spatial as well as social. Following Giddens' structuration theory, this thesis tries to develop understanding of a place as a duality of structure and action. The local structure of place is constituted by repeated everyday localised action. Meanwhile an action is constrained, but also enabled, by local structure. Local structures comprise of normative structures (e.g. formal or informal rules) and interpretative structures (e.g. meaning of place). In case of neighbourhood, they among others encompass neighbours' social networks, the attachment to the place and the sense of the community. The empirical part of thesis uses small-sample survey to examine six localities of the Prague (Smíchov, Vinohrady, Hanspaulka, Invalidovna, Bohnice and Háje). The localities represent different morphological parts of the city - an inner city neighbourhood, a villa garden city and a housing estate. Survey results shows, that the garden city of Hanspaulka is a place with a strong neighbourhood community and deep rootedness of its residents. ELECTORAL SUPPORT OF POLITICAL PARTIES : CHANGING PATTERNS IN THE SPATIAL STRUCTURE OF PRAGUE'S METROPOLITAN REGION IN 1996 - 2006

This thesis deals with geographic analysis of political behaviour. It is spatially limited to a metropolitan area of Prague, the capital and biggest city in the Czech Republic. Political behaviour of voters is analysed on election results of parlamentary elections between 1996 and 2006. The analysis uses agragate data and is undertaken in three main different sets of spatial units. Rusults are then compared inbetween them to confirm or refute obtained findings. The main goal of this thesis is to discover and analyse existing spatial patterns of political support for individual parties. As the czech political system is based on proportional representation, five main political parties and parties groupings are analysed. The second goal is to capture the change in political behaviour over the sudied time period. To discover how high the spatial stability of different party support is and which parts of the metropolitan region has undergone the biggest change in political behaviour. Last goal is to try to explain what changes has the process of resididential suburbanization done to the existing spatial structure of party support. User interface of mobile application

Bachelor thesis is focused on issues regarding to mobile devices, specifically user interfaces of mobile devices. These devices are spread in such measure, that most people are using these devices to accomplish task from everyday life. Ease of use and overall experience depends strictly on user interface.
Goal of theoretical part is to study universal conventions and methods used to create intuitive and good looking user experience, with focus on individual platform and use case. It also breaks down psychical side of development, which is hidden behind user interface. That means how the user think and behave within your application.
In practical part, the theoretical knowledge is applied to real live scenarios and models. It contains analysis and real life problem solving, that are regarded to user interfaces and are specific for mobile platform.
The result is clear and useful overview, that sums up how to effectively create quality and nice looking interfaces that are not just a pleasure to use, but also manage to deliver esthetical side, which results in fact, how likely the user will return to the applications.

Possibilities of utilizing lightweight autoclaved silicate based materials for insulation of building structures

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of thermal insulation for building structures using autoclaved aerated concrete on silicate based with density up to 200 kg/m3. The theoretical part presents the knowledge of the thermal protection of buildings and thermal insulation materials. Thereafter are distributed insulation systems. Production of aerated concrete and its properties is described in detail. In thesis were evaluated possibilities of use this material. The materiál is proved to be suitable for the production of thermal insulating wall, insulated foundation slabs or composite external panels. In the practical part were find out the values of physical and mechanical properties of aerated concrete product. Test results showed that the product can be used as an alternative to standard insulation systems. Component of the practical part was also to compare various insulation materials on the present market. In the conclusion is performed an overall assessment that includes the overall findings and the results.

TOWNHOUSE ON THE WATERFRONT IN PŘEROV

City house on the quay design study at Prerov Bachelor thesis deals with a multipurpose building design on the important corner parcel on the waterfront in the town of Prerov. The proposal is based on the requirements for quality and detail of created public space and quality of interior solutions intended for the users of the building. Multiple research published in the book of Jan Gehl - Life between the buildings serve as reference.

Analog effects are an integral part of modern musician. Advancing time makes players change and create new sounds emanating from the sound system. Unfortunately, it is not possible with one effect, but necessary to connect a combination of selected and appropriate effects. With the coming of digital multi-effect, in compared with an older analog effects, the quantity of sound effects increased, on the other hand, the quality decreased. This bachelor thesis, guitar processor, links the quality of analog effects with simple operation via microprocessor. Turn several effects at once is certainly great advantage. In comparison with the original analog equipment, which consists of several individual units, the project offers connection of selected effects in one unit. The processor saves not only time but also space.
