The study of realization of the constructed treatment wetland for Jankovice village
Ujházy, Adriana ; Mrvová, Michaela (referee) ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a study of the constructed wetland in the village Jankovice (Holesov), where they has not had a treatment plant yet. The first part of bachelor thesis is focused on informations and research studies, introducing to problems of constructed wetlands. In this part the the principles of technology are explained and the individual treatment stages in wetland are described. The second part of thesis describes the design study of the wastewater treatment plant in Jankovice u Holesova. It includes information about the village and a proposal of the individual treatment processes. The design study assumes two variants of the constructed treatment wetland location, at the end is recommended one of them. According to the current standard, the individual technological stages of wetland are pre-designed, financial costs are also estimated. The whole solution is drawn in the situation and completed by a height technical drawing. The aim of this thesis is to propose a properly functioning root waste water treatment plant for the municipality of up to 500 PE.
The waste management of the constructed treatment wetlands
Mrvová, Michaela ; Hyánková, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the sludge management at root sewage treatment plants with focus on volum eis highest – sludge manahement. Sludge dewatering using sludge dryiing bed is still condemned designers mainly due to their lack of experience, while at the same time enforcing technologically complex solutions. Therefore, the thesis focuses on the break down balance hydrological equation sludge drying bed, which includes all parameters affecting water balance system. The result is a proposal not only design, but in particular a description of input data and the governing equations in software Reed-Bed, which is calibrated own operational results obtainde for the two sewage treatment plants (village Dražovice and Kotenčice). Reed-Bed software will perform sevetal functions: setting the ground area of sludge bed, investment costs required for the implementation of sludge bed, return on investment, the determination of moisture contene of sludge in the sludge bed and maximum lenght of the dewatering period with regard to wetland vegetation. The second largest item within sludge system creates biomass wetland plants, so work deals with possibilities biomass processing plant at the end of the growing season. Technological processing of biomass was tested on common reed, final product pellets for heating.
Removal of phosphorous at constructed treatment wetlands
Štěpáníků, Alex ; Mrvová, Michaela (referee) ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis deals with issues of the removal of phosphorus in constructed (treatment) wetland. The main purpose of this thesis is to make literature review with focus on different technology of the removal of phosphorus from small community waste water treatment plants and evaluate their appropriateness for usage in constructed (treatment) wetlands. Sub-chapters deal with the topic of constructed (treatment) wetlands with a focus on the removal of phosphorus in broader context. The result of this thesis is recommendation for specific technological solutions, that could be used in constructed (treatment) wetlands. Part of this thesis is practical example of the design of selected technology for the removal of phosphorus for a real constructed (treatment) wetland.
Performance Evaluation of the Company COLORprofi, spol. s r.o. Based on the EVA Indicator
Učňová, Klára ; Mrvová, Miloslava (referee) ; Kocmanová, Alena (advisor)
This diploma thesis focuses on the performance evaluation of a selected company through the modern indicator of Economic Value Added (EVA). The company´s financial health is outlined by a financial analysis. The analysis became the basis for the calculation of the EVA indicator. Selected adjustments to the accounting data are necessary for the calculation. Based on the findings measures are proposed that contribute to the increase of Economic Value Added and eliminate the effects of its decline.
Design of the technology of the constructed treatment wetland for the municipality up to 500 EO
Suchánek, Pavel ; Mrvová, Michaela (referee) ; Pumprlová Němcová, Miroslava (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on creation of complex design of constructed wetland for village Bezděčí near Trnávka, which needs to solve the problem of wastewater management. The introductory part of the thesis, which is focused on the research of professional knowledge and information, familiarizes with the problematics of constructed wetlands, focuses on description of technological objects of the constructed wetlands and the description of their functions. Relevant legislation is also mentioned because knowledge of legislation is necessary for the project. The following part of this diploma thesis deals with the design of the constructed wetland itself. Solution of the design is based on the best available technologies that deliver high-quality research results into practice. The proposed root plant meets all the requirements for the quality of the discharged water according to the relevant legislation. An important part of the diploma thesis are annexes, which contain a completely elaborated project documentation for the issuance of a joint permit for the purpose of realization of the new building of a constructed wetland plant for the village Bezděčí near Trnávka.
Natural dewatering of sewage sludge of small producers
Mrvová, Michaela ; Hynánková,, Eva (referee) ; Kriška-Dunajský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis is focused on measurements possibility associated with sludge dewatering, realized on technological wetlands. Focus of this thesis is the evaluation of evapotranspiration in wetland macrophytes, respectively - comparison of three measurements - in the sludge drying bed to the greenhouse facility, sludge drying bed without the greenhouse building and measuring the meteorological station at 2.0 meters above the ground. One of the goals is an automated system monitoring and regulating moisture conditions in sludge dewatering. The aim of the evaluation is completed dewatering equipment from an economic point of view.
Use of the game Minecraft in teaching chemistry
Mrvová, Marie ; Míka, Luděk (advisor) ; Martínek, Václav (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to introduce the digital game Minecraft Education as a didactic tool in teaching chemistry. The theoretical part deals with the issue of integrating digital games into education, especially into science education. It defines the concepts and presents the advantages and disadvantages that are associated with the implementation of digital games in teaching. The history of the development of digital games and the digitalisation of education in our country is also briefly mapped. In the practical part, the game Minecraft Education is introduced. The tools and features that enable its use in chemistry classes are described. Its educational potential is explored and the problems associated with its integration into the classroom are outlined. Keywords digital game, video game, computer game, education, game-based learning, chemistry teaching, Minecraft Education
The mechanisms and efficiency of uptake of selected micropollutants by crops irrigated with reclaimed wastewater
Šrédlová, Kamila ; Semerád, Jaroslav ; Šereš, M. ; Mrvová, M. ; Rozkošný, M. ; Cajthaml, Tomáš
Water scarcity and the quality of fresh water are important global issues, which relate to all areas of human activity. One of the possible ways of reducing water consumption in agriculture is using treated (recycled) wastewater for irrigation. However, when applying recycled wastewater or biosolids to crops, it is necessary to monitor the content of micropollutants. The Summary research report describes the mechanisms of uptake of selected micropollutants (perfluorinated alkyl compounds and pharmaceuticals) by crops during automated irrigation with recycled wastewater. A detailed literature review complemented by experimental data describes micropollutant bioaccumulation in the fruits of several plants, which represent an exposure pathway for humans. Furthermore, the risk of human intake of micropollutants from crops potentially contaminated when grown using this technology is outlined
