This master´s thesis deals with the utilization of spent grains. It briefly introduces the issue of hydraulic transport settling and non-settling mixtures, pumps, piping design and technology designed for a particular case. After these chapters, the calculations of parts of the technology utilization spent grains follow.

Sludge Pumping on WWTP

This diploma thesis deals with the best solution design for a sludge fitting, especially focusing on the right choice of pumps for the waste water treatment plant in Prostějov. The pumps were selected for a circulation pipeline, which heats up the sludge. Several measurements were carried out in order to determine the statistical evaluation of the properties of the pumped medium. The figures gained were used to calculate pressure losses.The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first part provides a theoretical analysis of the problem and the second part presents the results and subsequently the reasoning for the new selection of pumps in order to change the WWTP technology from the mesophilic to the thermophilic sludge digestion. The test records describing the testing of the individual samples of the pumped sludge are attached.

Dependence of Sludge Dewatering efficiency on amount of flocculant

The target of the first part of this diploma thesis is focused on the problems relating to the sludge production from the wastewater treatment plant and subsequent sludge treatment. Wastewater treatment plant and individual processes from the sludge management are described. The process of the sludge dewatering is described more extensively. Various methods of the dewatering and materials balance are described, too. The second part of this thesis is based on the experiment which took place on wastewater treatment plant Tetčice. The influence of the polymeric organic flocculant dosing on the sludge dewatering was monitored by this experiment. Dependence of the sludge dry matter and filtrate suspended solids content on the specific amount of flocculant was evaluated from experiment’s outputs. Using materials balance and outputs of the experiment, economical balance was made. It made possible to choose the most economic and technologically optimal way of the sludge dewatering on wastewater treatment plant Tetčice.

CHOSEN SALE'S FROMS OF BIOPRODUST - RETAIL CHAINS

The principle aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze sale of organic food within selected retail chains. Specifically, it is determination of the sale strategy, assortment structure, conditions and culture of the organic food sale. The thesis comprises a part of the MSM 0652104020 research project of the College of Economic fo the South Bohemian University. The first part of this thesis summarizes theoretical information on ecological agriculture and organic food market. The practical part is based on questionnaire enquiry and analysis of offering lists. Questionnaires were sent to the management of retail chains operating in the area of the South Bohemian Region and including organic food in their offer. Single organic foodstuffs from the offering lists were analyzed and retail chains with so-called ``good practice{\crqq} were identified on their basis. The best offer of organic food is presented by the Interspar and Terno chains. For the present, retail chains are not significantly interesed in purchasing of organic products originating from the South Bohemia. The reason for this is that they operate within a nationwide scope. All retail chains addressed expect a slightly dynamic development of the organic food market. In the conclusion of the thesis, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats of sale of organic food in retail chains are identified (SWOT Analysis).

Title: Application for modeling buildings from photographs Author: Jakub Medek Department: Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems Supervisor: Mgr. Pavel Ježek, Ph.D., Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems Abstract: The goal of the thesis was to develop a Windows application that can be used for modelling objects based on their photographs. The user can import photos of an object into the application and then start creating the model in two steps. First, the user has to calibrate a virtual camera for each photo. After that, the user can create the 3D model by drawing edges and faces on top of the photo. The application supports exporting the created model in a standard 3D format .obj including textures generated from photos. The application is written in .NET Core framework with the WPF graphical framework. WPF and one of the used libraries Avalondock are located on the View layer. The rest of the application (ViewModel and Model layers) use only cross- platform libraries.
