Reconstruction of undetachable LORD MR damper
Lochman, Vít ; Macháček, Ondřej (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis deals with the design and the realization of the modification of the non-demountable magnetorheological damper LORD, which has gained an atypical Fv characteristic in the course of time. The first part of the thesis deals with the operation of the magnetorheological liquid and the various design variants of the magnetorheological dampers. The practical part is devoted to the reverse engineering and the design of the damper modification itself. The complete drawing documentation of the original and the modified damper is included in this work.
Analytical Methods in Motorsport
Růžička, Bronislav ; Dočkal, Aleš (referee) ; Čejka, Václav (referee) ; Karpíšek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This dissertation is focused on proposal for simplified data analyze approach for sport-car vehicle dynamic evaluation with relationship to possibility for qualified estimation of set-up parameters influence for overall vehicle performance. In common practice can be usual overlapping effect caused by concurrent changes of car setup elements if performed in the same moment with resulting in not correct or hardly definable process determination for evaluation and decision about next steps in car development. For analyze of these multidimensional data is then chosen process with approach by Linear Regression Model (LRM). In dissertation is proposed basic philosophy with concern on specificity of car vehicle dynamics, performed experiment with defined inputs including analyze and interpretation method of obtained outputs. This methodic take into account also possibility for general application of multidimensional data analyses not only in motorsport, but as well for dynamic behavior diagnostics of technical systems where finding of optimal running condition depends on multi-parametric setup whose combination must reflect often changes of outer conditions too.
Road simulator Dyno Tec
Pekar, Marek ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis is concerned about reconstruction of road simulators, which is located in Institute of Machine and Industrial Design. At the beginning of this thesis I was interested in overview of current road simulators and undercarriage testers. In the second section I engaged in current state of simulators and I paid attention to various proposals of cover construction and reinforcing of a drum carriage frame. In the next section I have stated a solution for the ideal option of cover construction and a cart attachment. In the conclusion of my bachelor thesis I have compared calculated and experimental values of drum carriage frame frequency. I have also compared the frequency before and after reinforcing of carriage frame of the drum.
Virtual model of manual tail test
Greplová, Kristýna ; Šindelář, Martin (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
The aim of the master´s thesis is analysis of limits of tail test exercise in practice for certification of dampening quality of wheel hitches of vehicles using virtual simulation. The goal is to create virtual model of front axle of Skoda Roomster 1.4 TDi using program Adams/View, MSC Software and follow-up simulation of tail test of wheel hitch.
Positioning unit for laser spectroscopy
Brada, Michal ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Koutný, Daniel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of positioning unit for laser spectroscopy and its realization to shape of prototype. The design of positioning unit is based on the analysis of the current state of knowledge in the field of remote laser spectroscopy systems. Precise harmonic drive and worm drive with stepper motors are used to drive. The main parts of positioning unit are designed primarily from duraluminium. The positioning unit will be used for experimental measurements at the Institute of Physical Engineering Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Brno University of Technology. 3D digital prototype and technical drawings were created in Autodesk Inventor 2010.
Vibration damper development and innovation of a laboratory stand
Filipi, Jaroslav ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor work deals with description and functionality of vibration dampers. Since the vibration dampers is a wealth of species, work is focusing on the dampers used in cars known as shock absorbers suspension. I have described conventional shock absorbers suspension and modern shock absorbers suspension. Furthermore, I described active chassis. High-quality equipment is very important for the future development of dampers. I propose possible ways of innovation existing laboratory stand.
Modification of experimental arrangement for bearings testing for application of acoustic emission method.
Suchanek, Daniel ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
Master’s thesis is focused on modification of experimental arrangement for radial ball bearing contact endurance testing so that the diagnostic method of acoustic emission could be applied. There is an assumption that AE method is able to identify damage to bearings in earlier stages than the vibration diagnostics. Design modifications also allow the addition of modern vibrodiagnostic equipment to a system.
Construction of the station for the diagnosis of damage and leaks from pneumatic systems
Kojš, Denis ; Mazůrek, Ivan (referee) ; Mazal, Pavel (advisor)
Thesis deals with the design, implementation and verification of functionality of station designed for measuring of acoustic emissions from pneumatic cylinders for the purpose of fault diagnosis. The first part of this thesis includes an overview of previous work dealing with the diagnosis of pneumatic systems, also works dealing with the diagnosis of various machine parts using acoustic emission. Further work contains a description of the proposed conceptual design and final draft is described in detail, including occurred complications and their solutions. The last part describes the results of measurements of acoustic emissions from damaged and undamaged cylinders. Functionality of the station is verified by comparing the frequency spectra and envelopes of measured acoustic emission signal.
Dynamically balanced resonance adhesive tester
Jandásek, Martin ; Růžička, Bronislav (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This diploma thesis is dedicated to the development of mobile resonance-adhesion tester TriTec. The aim of this thesis is to improve the parameters of the tester in comparison to the previous version of tester, especially to minimize the vibrations of the tester while running without load, and to the make long-distance transportation of tester easier. The first part of thesis was aimed on history of development of TriTec tester, causes of it´s problems and on analysis of vibration minimization possibilities. As a best solution is considered a rotational balance mechanism, which was designed in next part of thesis. After that a new front wheel drive and an user interface conception were designed. The modified tester reaches all the deserved parameters and is able to compete static resonance-adhesion testers by it´s lower price and high mobility.
Optimization of Control Algorithm of MR Damper
Strecker, Zbyněk ; Kotaba, Ondřej (referee) ; Ondrůšek, Čestmír (referee) ; Šindelář, Martin (referee) ; Mazůrek, Ivan (advisor)
This work deals with the usage of magneto-rheological (MR) damper in the semi-active car suspension. Semi-active suspension can improve ride comfort or tyre grip to the level, which cannot be achieved with the common passive setting of the damper. MR damper has however features, like time response of the controller with MR damper and the control range of the MR damper, which limit area of application. It was found out that especially the time response of the damper significantly influences the efficiency of semi-active algorithms. Current MR dampers with controllers are not capable of efficient control of the semi-active suspension. For proper design of semi-active suspension with MR dampers, the time response must be decreased. Therefore, a new PWM current controller was designed and verified. Also changes in MR damper design which eliminate eddy-currents in the magnetic circuit were proposed. The results of this work should contribute to the better design of semi-active suspension systems with MR damper.
