Modular Multiple Liquidity Source Price Streams Aggregator
Rozsnyó, Tomáš ; Masařík, Karel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This MSc Thesis was performed during a study stay at the Hochschule Furtwangen University, Furtwangen, Germany. This Master Project provides a theoretical background for understanding financial market principles. It focuses on foreign exchange market, where it gives a description of fundamentals and price analysis. Further, it covers principles of high-frequency trading including strategy, development and cost. FIX protocol is the financial market communication protocol and is discussed in detail. The core part of Master Project are sorting algorithms, these are covered on theoretical and practical level. Aggregator design includes implementation environment, specification and individual parts of aggregator application represented as objects. Implementation overview can be found in last Chapter.
Optimizations in C Compiler for VLIW Architectures
Baručák, Robert ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
Presented is implementation of algorithm for alias analysis, which was integrated into LLVM framework. Properties and limitations of various alias analysis algorithms are discussed. Demonstrated are different approaches to working with predicates and integration of these principles with LLVM. One of the outcomes of this master's thesis is design and implementation of algorithm for profile guided if-conversion.
Effective Memory Management for Multi-Threaded Applications
Vašíček, Libor ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis describes design and implementation of effective memory management for multi-threaded applications. At first, the virtual memory possibilities are described, which can be found in the latest operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows and Linux. Afterwards the most frequently used algorithms for memory management are explained. Consequently, their features are used properly for a new memory manager. Final design includes particular tools for application debugging and profiling. At the end of the thesis a series of tests and evaluation of achieved results were done.
Information System for Estate Agency
Dudík, Michal ; Rychlý, Marek (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This work deals with the requirements analysis of the online content management system of real estate agency. The aim of the work is to suggest and implement this system. The emphasis is mainly on the possibility of data synchronization with Czech real estate servers. On the basis of the appreciation of several different methods used for the data exchange there are illustrated their benefits and disadvantages. Ascertained matter will be used for the proposal of the method of synchronization among real estate systems. System is built by using PHP 5 and MySQL, XML, XSLT, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML-RPC technologies.
Profiler for Generic Simulators of Microprocessors
Wilczák, Milan ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis presents design and implementation of profiling tool for newly created microprocessors. For microprocessor description specialized language ISAC is used which describes processor resources, instruction set and behavior. Final profiler is an extension to existing simulator and can be used for optimizing of both processor and its applications. Principle of the profiler is generating events by simulator and processing these events into statistics.
Peephole Optimizer for Configurable Processor Architectures
Ministr, Martin ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with creation of peephole optimizer for the compiler of programming language C. This work consists of study of optimization technique called peephole optimization. Main part of this work is the design of peephole optimization process. As the result of this work functional program of peephole optimizer was created.
Process Inspector Tool Extension for Data Export
Brodzák, Jan ; Masařík, Karel (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master's thesis describes the process of extending the Process Inspector for data export into Enterprise Architect. The thesis includes two sections - theoretical (dealing with the theoretical background of process management) and practical (the implementation itself).
Syntactic Analysis Based on Coupled Finite Automata
Zámečníková, Eva ; Masařík, Karel (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
Master's thesis is dealing with translation based on coupled finite automaton model. Coupled finite automaton contains input and output automaton. The input automaton makes syntactic analysis with an input string. Used rules from the input automaton control the output automaton, which generates an output string. In thesis is described a way of determinisation of the input automaton without loss of information about rules used in original automaton. The determinizitaion is divided into two parts - for finite and infinite translation specified by transducers. Then is presented a new pair automaton with increased computing power. This increased computing power consists in replace of input or output or just a part of automaton by context free grammar.
Graphical Tool for Rapid Prototyping of System on the Chip
Netočný, Ondřej ; Křoustek, Jakub (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementing of a tool for development of MPSoC (multiprocessor systems on chip). It is going to apprise the reader with this matter and introduces several ways how to solve these issues in Codasip Studio IDE (integrated development environment). The graphical editor for multicore system development and a set of support tools for fast and effective development are introduced in this thesis. These are mainly interactive wizards which help user to start new projects. To handle the subject matter it is necessary to understand CodAL language, Eclipse IDE, GMF (Graphical Modeling Framework) and EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework) which are used for graphical editor implementation.
Virtual Platforms for Instruction Set Simulation
Ministr, Martin ; Přikryl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Masařík, Karel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with creation of generators of the code for existing virtual platforms QEMU and OVP. This work consist of study of techniques, which are used by virtual machines for their work. Main part of this work is the design of process, which transforms input instruction sets to the code used by these virtual platforms. As the result of this work functional programs, which generate the code for these virtual platforms, was created.
