Finding Weak Spots and Risk Analysis of a Part of the Information System in a City
Liška, Michal ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the problem of finding weak points and risk analysis of a part of the information system at the municipal office of the Brno-Líšeň district, which deals with the issue of the organization of elections, namely the administrative provision and the constitution of the district electoral commissions. The thesis is based on the theoretical apparatus in the field of information systems, database systems and risk engineering. The thesis used the analysis of the Czech legal norms for the organization and conduct of elections and the specific conditions of the chosen type of municipal office.
Service Management in a Selected Municipality
LIŠKA, Marek
Service management in a municipality is essential for its further development. Every one of us uses public services and demands maximum comfort. They are often an indicator of the satisfaction of the inhabitants and a premise for municipality's growth. This work is focused on the analysis of public services in the town of Prachatice. The thesis contains the analysis of the local conditions and the structure of provision of public services including their production and financing. From the available data, it is possible to see how the provided services meet the needs of inhabitants. Based on the analysis results, there is drawn the proposal for improvement of public services regarding the needs of the municipality´s inhabitants in near future.

Epidemiology of hypersensitivity in patients with atopic dermatitis and its clinical relevance
Liška, Martin ; Panzner, Petr (advisor) ; Pizinger, Karel (referee) ; Petrů, Vít (referee)
Epidemiology of hypersensitivity in patiens with atopic dermatitis and its clinical relevance MUDr. Martin Liška Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which is often accompanied by hypersensitivity to various allergens. While food allergens have been considered to play a major role in AD pathogenesis, there is also increasing evidence that aeroallergens are involved. The clinical relevance of detected hypersensitivity was also intensively investigated in last decades. Aims of the study: Our aim was to find out the frequency of hypersensitivity to airborne allergens in AD patients and its clinical relevance using various evaluation standards. Methods: We tested 71 patients (median age 5 years) with AD for hypersensitivity to grass and birch pollen, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus and Dermatophagoides farinae using atopy patch test (APT), skin prick test (SPT) and specific IgE measurement. The sensitivity (SE) and specificity (SP) of the tests were calculated on the basis of personal history of AD exacerbation, SCORAD changes and the number of days with need for topical anti- inflammatory treatment (AITD) in relation to exposure to the allergens being tested. Results: APT was positive in 45 patients, mostly to Der.farinae (n = 37). SPT and/or specific IgE were positive in 42...
Optimizing large applications
Liška, Martin ; Hubička, Jan (advisor) ; Mareš, Martin (referee)
Both uppermost open source compilers, GCC and LLVM, are mature enough to link-time optimize large applications. In case of large applications, we must take into account, except standard speed efficiency and memory consumption, different aspects. We focus on size of the code, cold start-up time, etc. Developers of applications often come up with ad-hoc solutions such as Elfhack utility, start-up of an application via a pre-loading utility and dlopen; prelinking and variety of different tools that reorder functions to fit the order of execution. The goal of the thesis is to analyse all existing techniques of optimization, evaluate their efficiency and design new solutions based on the link-time optimization platform. A passive network analyser
Liška, Martin ; Mareš, Martin (advisor) ; Spousta, Miroslav (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a program for computer network trafi c monitoring and analysis that would operate in a purely passive mode, i.e., without a ecting the measured tra c. Information about the network performance will be received by tapping the transmitted packets, which will enable the software to reconstruct the operation of network connections as well as activity of the transfer protocols.
Phylogenetic connections of human locomotion in sport
Liška, Matěj ; Kračmar, Bronislav (advisor) ; Slezáková, Pavla (referee)
Title: Fylogenetic aspects of human locomotion Objectives: To find fylogenetic connection between human locomotion and animal locomotion as animal are considered to be our predecessors. Methods: Study and analysis of accessible literary sources. The results gained in the research will be generalized and used to find the fylogenetic connection of human and animal locomotion. Results: Similar locomotive principles happened to be found in connection with first vertebrates, amphibians, birds, mammals and humans. The need for presence of punctum fixum was also found to implement the crossed motion model. There were summarized necessary adaptations to bipedal human locomotion. Key words: punctum fixum, kvadrupedal crossed model, human locomotion, motion, development
Swedish foreign policy during early years of Charles XI's reign
Liška, Martin ; Stellner, František (advisor) ; Valkoun, Jaroslav (referee)
- The thesis is focused on Swedish foreign policy during the period 1660 - 1675, the early years of Charles XI's reign. Although Sweden is considered as an empire practically all over the 17th century, from the economic point of view it was a weak country. Sweden was totally depending on financial help from its allies, especially during periods of peace, as it was the case between 1660 and 1675. This fact belongs to the main aspects influencing the Swedish foreign policy at this time. Main part of the thesis is dedicated to relations between Sweden and other European states. The most significant were the relations with France and Denmark, since France was the ally which provided Sweden the needed finance. The role of Denmark was also essential because of its geographical position as neighbouring country to Sweden. The thesis indeed discusses relations to some other states that played an important role as well - England, the Netherlands, Brandenburg, other German states, Poland and Russia. The aim of the thesis is not just to analyse the Swedish foreign policy, but even to answer questions if there was any alternative or if the way this policy was conducted was the only possible one and also, if such policy can be considered as success or failure. These questions are answered at the final part of...
Analysis of atorvastatine by HPLC with using of fluorescence derivatization
Líška, Marián ; Šatínský, Dalibor (advisor) ; Solich, Petr (referee)
10.2 Determination of atorvastatin by high performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection The main aim of this work was to develop a method for determination of atorvastatin by HPLC, which would be sensitive enough to determine plasmatic concentration of atorvastatin (ng/ml). UV-VIS detection is not sensitive enough for this purpose, therefore fluorescence detection was used. Atorvastatin was derived by 4-brommethyl-6,7-dimethoxycoumarin in N,N- dimethylformamide. Potassium carbonate and 18-crown-6-ether were used as catalysts. Optimal conditions for the reaction were determined as follows: 45 minutes, 20řC in dark. The method of purification of sample from undesired substances was not successful. However HPLC conditions were fully optimized, the column-switching technique was not effective enough. Chromatograms were not so selective, and desired level of sensitivity was not reached.
Lexical and Stylistic Features of the Language of Sport
Liška, Martin ; Matuchová, Klára (referee) ; Pípalová, Renata (advisor)
This thesis examines the language of sport from the point of view of lexis, syntax, and, to a lesser extent, stylistics. In the theoretical part, a brief overview of its most typical features is provided, based on the relevant sources. The empirical section offers statistics and data obtained from the analysis of six selected texts that report on sporting events, specifically on ice hockey and football matches. The main focus is on four areas - sports terminology, informal expressions, stative and dynamic verbs, and finite and non-finite verb forms. In each of them, special attention is devoted to the similarities and differences detected in individual texts, especially as regards the comparison of approaches adopted by the tabloid press on the one hand, and the serious media on the other.
