Trends in Marketing on the Czech internet

There are very few professional authors who focus in their written works on current and future development on internet. It is due to the fact that it is very difficult to estimate how this field will develop. It is very easy to make a mistake in predictions and authors usually try to avoid them. Another reason why there are not many official publications on this subject is a very fast deterioration of information in this field. On the other hand, I believe it is necessary for marketers to analyze current and future development as it enables them to prepare company and its products for the future. Aim of my thesis is to identify trends in marketing on internet in the most developped countries, describe the situation on the Czech internet with emphasis on verifying if foreign trends have reached Czech republic. Based on these findings I will formulate advices for marketers in the Czech republic. My secondary goal is to describe practical usage of different tools on internet.
The influence of geocaching on tourism

This diploma thesis focuses on the influence of geocaching on tourism. First it briefly presents the principle of precise determination of position and coordinate systems, and then it describes the rules and principles of the game. It deals with the influence of geocaching on domestic tourism -- describing current situation, motivation of geocachers and functions of geocaching. It also analyzes the international influence of geocaching based on the comparison of visits of concrete caches by domestic and foreign geocachers. Then it also compares the numbers of caches in the Czech Republic which provide listing in foreign language and so these caches are foreigners friendly. Last chapter focuses on the analysis of several projects which use geocaching as a marketing instrument and tries to provide recommendations and identify mistakes which should be avoided in order to implement a successful project.
POS systems in cooperatives

This work is devoted to POS systems in Consumer Cooperatives, their contribution to the supply market, practical solutions and use their weaknesses. The theoretical introduction is defined portion, which includes POS systems and their theoretical benefits in a business informatics. Furthermore, the real situation is outlined deployment and use of POS systems in Consumers Cooperatives. The conclusion is demonstrated on a practical example of a possible way of improving the efficiency of utilization of the datamining.
E-commerce and social networks in small businesses

The diploma thesis focuses on e-commerce in small businesses in connection with marketing and social networks. The first chapter focuses on the marketing processes and the possibility of use of the Internet in small businesses. In the second chapter I deal with the rules of creation of the corporate website, I describe several Internet tools to promote the website (Google Analytics) and deal with search engine optimization (SEO). The third chapter is devoted to social media and a number of case studies describing the use of the social network Facebook in marketing. The final chapter four is the result of the previous chapters, all the theoretical findings are applied to the two real companies AS. ROVI, s.r.o. and METRO FLORENC, s.r.o. In conclusion I am summarizing the facts mentioned above and set out recommendations for both companies and small businesses in general. This thesis was designed as a guide for small businesses -- for them to be thaught how to effectively use modern Internet tools to improve their own promotion and hence profit.
Social networks in the Czech Republic

This bachelor's thesis is focused on practical usage of marketing in social networks. It defines social network and familiarize with social networking principles. The objective of this bachelor's thesis was to explore and describe possibilities of the social networks' marketing in the Czech Republic. The part dealing with marketing itself solves practical procedures related to creation of optimal marketing strategies over social networks. In addition this thesis transparently introduces most important characteristics of the social network users.
A project of introduction of ICT into a medium sized enterprise

In the theoretical part, this master thesis deals with ICT, Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations with a focus on the programme of support ICT in Enterprises. Furthermore, with the definition of SMEs and specific features of medium sized enterprise. In the practical part, an ICT project in a chosen company is described and analyzed. The project is evaluated and further opportunities of development of ICT in the company are suggested. The last chapter provides implications from the ICT area for similar businesses.
Marketing analysis of low-cost airlines

The thesis deals with low-cost airlines, emphasizing their marketing. In the theoretical part there were explained basic marketing tools of low-cost airlines. The practical part is focused on analysis of charging additional fees by airline Ryanair.
Business Plan of an Internet Enterprise

This work explains the way a business plan should be written before one creates a new company. The first chapter orients itself on the theory of a business plan and its pertinence that should be included. The second chapter is dedicated to internet marketing. Main channels, through which a customer can be reached and made visit a concrete website, are described here. In the third part, there is an example of a concrete business plan prepared for an internet start-up.
The evolution of electronic commerce focusing on sale of food

This bachelor's thesis concentrates on electronic commerce with focus on sale of food. At first, history of information technology is described. An important part belongs to electronic commerce which is defined here. The division of e-commerce is depicted, positives and negatives of internet shopping are discussed. The question of law is mentioned and the main figure is consumer and his protection. Later, online grocery shops, that succeeded in the world, are named and described. Finally, Czech online shops selling food are compared with each other and with a hypermarket.
The collective buying phenomenon in the Czech Republic

Collective buying has become a widespread trend on the Czech Internet during the last year. This thesis deals with the phenomenon of collective sales and its aim is to find out how the system works and why different parties join it. The first chapter presents the development of collective buying in the world and what it means in the Czech Republic nowadays. The second chapter specifies several reasons which motivate customers and entrepreneurs to join the system and it mentions a number of marketing activities of the intermediaries influencing the customers' decision. The whole process of the discount activities is described in the third chapter and the fourth one analyses the opinions of Czech customers and entrepreneurs on sales campaigns.
